I've never seen T-West before, what a likeable guy! But he has a certain stare to him that I found a bit curious, his look is so intense! Probs again to you, Nelson, another great one! It did feel like the tougher questions went to T-West. An idea to balance this would be to have the option for a player to "punt" a question to the opponent without answering. That question then becomes the opponent's next question, and the opponent will get a bonus point for answering a punted question right. The question after that goes back to the other player.
@@greenjelly01 Interesting suggestion, thanks! Right now I'm tending more towards just having several people look at the questions beforehand and see if a consensous emerges regarding whose questions are easier/harder. If this doesn't work I will definitely consider your suggestion.
Great format, I think you have improved a lot since Nili T90 with not giving them hints etc. Would love to see the new rivalry duo - Daut vs Lierrey. Also need to include tournament or game questions from before Lierrey was born, eg removed HC upgrade etc

At the top you have a feudal age teutons watch tower with fletching and masonry (via trigger) with three janissaries garrisoned. Which tower will win the fight?" (solution below) the uphill masonry watch tower with the 3 janissaries wins because teuton extra arrows go brr -and yes, I just created a scenario to test this-
5:15 T west came up with a really good idea here. I want to see them have a "quiz duel". Name them a civ or a unit or a year of tournaments as question prompt, see who can come up with the most difficult questions for each other, but also know the answers themselves
Ornulu is on another level. Wowzo. Twest probably had a bit of bad luck, but I can't imagine anyone beating Ornulu at this point. He's like the Ken Jennings of this quiz show.
I find it incredibly hard to judge the difficulty of certain questions and no matter who I ask for help, everybody seems to have a different take on what questions are hard and which ones are easy...lol I hope that as I keep doing these quizzes, I'll get better at figuring these things out Glad you liked it!

You should an episode with Sandy Petersen, game designer who worked on the orginal games. He has an youtube, channel, Sandy of Cthulhu, so i wouldnt be surprised if he is open to it.

Another absolutely awesome episode, I love this series. Had to wait for two days before watching due to being in a caravan in the middle of nowhere, totally worth it. This begs the question, which is the more epic daddy-invasion moment, lierrey winning against Yo all those years ago, or ornlu's dad bringing the coffee with possible answers inside?

Just about the earnings question, that website is quite unreliable. Chris for example said that the numbers that it gave him were completely wrong - I would imagine they are wrong for pretty much anyone who was active before ~2015/2016, especially if they are no longer top 10 and from non-English speaking countries.
Yeah, I think the further down you go on the list the less accurate it becomes, for sure. But considering how much the tournament scene has exploded in recent years in terms of number of events and prize pool size, I'm pretty confident that the top spots on that list are probably fairly accurate!
