Warrington v Widnes JPT semi 1986

Dexember 27th 1986 and Warrington steamroller cup kings Widnes at Central Park. Mark Roberts opened the scoring, Sir Les charged over, Brian Johnson stormed over for 2 belters, Mark Forster nearly had his ankle broken by Steve O'Neill to score, Paul Cullen dove over for 2 and Kevin Meadows got the other. With Paul Bishop sent off with Paul Hulme (the Widnes try scorer), Sir Bob Jackson kicked the only conversion in a 35 4 win. The last 2 tries came from the kick off. Oh and a certain Mr Sorensen got his comeuppance from Les Boyd...

At times a rugby match broke out between the niggling. Paul bishop could start a fight in an empty room. what happened in the final BTW. Johnson was a very underrated full back, pace n timing. O'Neill what more does he need to get sent off?

He played at Halifax for a year or so in early 90s . Great player, never a dull game with him on field think he went back to Australia cause i never saw him play again after that.
