I spent 51 years with flat feet walking toe first, or walking flat like a robot. I continuously thought about how my feet touched the ground and how I should move. I never thought to walk from the glute forward. I seriously feel you changed my life. Thank You.
I walk with a lot of push on my heels. Recently understood that my heels suffer from too much pressure (dry skin, etc). So here I am watching videos how to walk properly.
make sure your strides aren't too long as that will inevitably extend your knees fully which you don't want while walking. Knees should always be at least a little bent throughout the whole stride.
Simple, professional, and helpful✓ However it would be even better if he explained the proper angle for the toes as well. I wonder if keeping foot completely straight on the ground (like models do) is the proper way or not...
This just helped me so much my knees are always in so much pain like inflammation i think because i put too much pressure on thek and wasn’t activating my glutes
Walk each day. I walk with a slight foot rolling. Long strides great! I live in higher altitude so using my glutes is important. Some trails I use poles too.
I was in a lot of pain in my calf I couldn't walk by looking at your video I learned to act it but I'm not walking faster due to the pain in my legs and calf. So can you please make a video on how to walk faster and how to run without pain please 🙏🏽.
Thank you Doctor, I have been suffering from low back pain for many years, I learnt from you that how to use gluten when walking and how to exercise to release low back pain. Thank you so much.😊
I've been told I've got to learn to walk again after pushing my body Into a different movement pattern. My brain has bypassed signals from where I had a stress or related problem. Nothing is actually wrong with my brain 🧠 but it all needs unraveling. Simple exercises like stepping over objects will help and cycling is lovely but I can't walk slowly cause of incorrect walking movement....strange but true
I have a little rounded shoulder so I walked chest open after that I am having back neck pain and if I continue with pain ,it will slowly spread to left shoulder What should I do ??
I have MS and can still walk BUT in order to avoid excess fatigue and maintain my balance while walking my Lab I am using a 2 wheel walker. What are your thoughts about how best to walk?
You can also try: 1, narrow steps 2, gentle touchdown of foot, bend your leg slightly 3, straighten your leg behind you while keeping the heel to the ground 4, try not to pass the waist with the elbow
I used to walk normal and one day i decided to walk like Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin because i saw a tiktok say that he walks and his right hand doesn’t move due to the military training he had (so its easier to reach the gun) and at some point i forget how to walk and now i have an awkward walk. Like a robot i dont move my hands.
So here it seems you are showing that heel striking is not bad, contrary to a lot of other opinions. So much contradicting info about this, I don't get it.
today only i realized that using glutes helped me take my weight off my heels, after wrong form of about 20 years, and now i watched this video. What a coincidence!

Should you be lifting your feet more instead of almost sliding them forward as in the video?
Yes

I have a little rounded shoulder so I walked chest open after that I am having back neck pain and if I continue with pain ,it will slowly spread to left shoulder
What should I do ??
This help my little bro so much
Glad to hear that!
My legs don’t extend fully straight out and doesn’t go straight out when I extend back. It’s like I’m always walking with a bent knee.
I have MS and can still walk BUT in order to avoid excess fatigue and maintain my balance while walking my Lab I am using a 2 wheel walker. What are your thoughts about how best to walk?
Should i feel pressure on my toes or bring back leg forward?
I can’t do glute bridges, too painful. Any alternatives please?
You can also try:
1, narrow steps
2, gentle touchdown of foot, bend your leg slightly
3, straighten your leg behind you while keeping the heel to the ground
4, try not to pass the waist with the elbow
Can you explain in detail?
Unfortunately I have rigid big toes, so it can start to get really painful to use my toes.
Why with the weather so hot is my walking ability not too good in the sun shine,
How long is each Step?😢
It's different for each person depending on leg length and physical condition.
@ thank you 🙏🏼

shouldn’t you not lock your knees like that though? Just sends a shockwave through your joints no?
I started using my glutes and its killinh my knees! They hurt horribly
Good
I fractured my ankle and I’m trying to figure out how to walk without limping.
I walk rigid 2:48😢
