Thank you Tony , Steve tiley actually owned the patent to the theoben magazines even when theoben were still active ( although I think Ben and Leo had long gone from the theoben factory by then) Tony is the font of all air gun knowledge , and to boot he's a real genuine guy who stand behind the rifles daystate sell , many years ago I damaged my huntsman buckmaster stock and for the life of me I couldn't find any carpenter to try and fix the damage to the finish of the ltd edition stock , after many failed attempts and phone calls to furniture restorers and gun makers I thought there was nothing I could do and that was that , as a last resort I rang daystate( when they were up near stone) I thought I would have to buy a replacement stock at full price , the buck master had a very expensive finish , I explained to Tony and all he said was bring your rifle in sometime tomorrow afternoon after 1.30 , so the next day I arrived with one of my prized rifles with a damaged stock , after talking to Tony for five mins he said follow me , so I did , we got to what looked like the packing area and he opened a box and produced a prototype buckmaster stock with an updated daystate engraving on the side of it , I asked how much I needed to pay and I kid you not he said " sixty pounds should cover it "! I was in shock , I expected to hear 5/600 hundred pounds , what a gent great guy and I'll never forget what a positive experience it was going to the old factory and meeting Tony whilst getting my pride and joy back to what it should be , I'll say it again , thank you Tony .
Thats amazing and sadly you dont hear enough about things like this. Ive heard nothing but good things about the company and customer service. Makes it easy to know who I want to go with as I'm looking to get into pcp air rifles in the states.
Fabulous rifle. I was a bit wary to begin with, because of the stock and how light the rifle was. The stock grows on you, and I now love it . The manoeuvrability is awesome compared to my other rifles. ( Weihrauch, Kral. ) Originally bought a BSA R12 CLX Pro. It was crap so swapped for the Daystate. Best decision.
Loving the change to the shape of the fore end of the stock , flatter ,wider ,deeper, and the new forward facing angled edge are all improvements that were genuinely needed, I hope the new shape stock appears on the revere in a walnut guise , I'd buy one immediately .
I have to agree in fact AIRGUNS OF ARIZONA as of today eight 522 is running their “we are the blinkers“ special on the Walmart stock version including a Mambo 4-12 scopes, soft case and moderator for a very good price.
My first air rifle was an RM8 and I am looking to upgrade - don't need to, but just want to ! I have looked at many options and I think this will be the one. At this price point they are all accurate so for me it's the classic lines but with a different looking stock - IMO, Walnut is boring, laminate is quite common and Polymer just a bit too functional. The clever thing is how they have kept the classic looks and the weight down without dropping the shot count too much. To do that with an HW100 KT I would have to pay more for the Rat Works version. I also like that you can keep the length down by just having the shroud or add a moderator when you want it to be a bit quieter. Right, where's my credit card
Mine is now 3 weeks old and is wonderful in everyway , I still start a shooting session with 50 odd rounds through my Prosport , then go to the Daystate
Great review Richard. What a beautiful rifle. I’ve got a couple of daystates in my collection and wouldn’t part with them as they just oooze quality. Keep up the great work
I had a pair of the earliest models the black stocked Shadow. I think they came about because the stocks weren't exactly what they wanted so they made them black. I loved my .22 so got a .177 as well. Long gone now.
I have 2 Daystate HRs and they have been reliable and accurate for past 3yrs. Owned Hw100kt before 👍👍👍👍 top rifle but low shot count for me Owned 2 BSA se rifles, magazine jams, leaking, accuracy issues 😔😔 If your thinking of buying a new rifle check out Daystate. 👍
Hi Margaret, I do like synthetic stocks but the down side of them is when they get a scratch or dent it’s there permanently. With wood stocks they can be steamed and refinished and look as good as new or even better when a professional does it. It’s a factor you should consider as trying to sell a rifle with a scratched up synthetic stock means your going to loose a lot of value.
I would love to see Daystate do a tactical chassis version of this rifle. As much as I'd love a delta wolf I could never afford or justify that sort of money.
Hi. You can fit just about any kind of scope to the Revere. Just make sure you have the right height dovetail mounts. A 4-16x50 would be just about perfect...The Sportsmatch UK website is an excellent resource to guide you on the best size mounts for any scope.
Hi James. I don't believe they are being sold separately at the moment as I am sure all available stocks are going onto Reveres to be sold. However, I'd imagine that once the initial launch orders have been fulfilled you might have better luck.
How I can get contact with mister Toni I have a old Daystate Huntsman Classic and I want to find out if it’s possible building in a regulator in 22 Or meby you no also this because I no that you are a expert with all kind of airguns Thanks for your time and I hope you make for a long time more videos I love it 😅
Some points, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the sprung magazine l would expect to see on a budget gun and finally ten shot groups? Whilst I appreciate accuracy testing is important for comparison shooting from a bench rest is hardly difficult, the back of a pickup however presents more realistic in the field comparisons. Please understand that this is intended as constructive criticism and my overall impression is of a quality production, thank you 👍.
Hi William. I hear what you say. The thing is, I can't win. I shoot a group from the back of my truck and people say 'the rifle/you are a rubbish shot'. Shooting from a bench is the fairest way of showing how good a rifle is. What we are capable of is a different altogether of course!
Agreed, shoot from anything and someone will find fault with the technique no matter how varied the presentation. Welcome to the world of social media for all its rights and wrongs 🤔
@@airgunextra I put it on google and it doesn't appear available anywhere. Only videos and newspapers. I live in Europe but the European and American market usually appears in the survey. In my country (Portugal/mundilar) I only have the normal huntsman.

Hi Margaret. Synthetic stocks are okay but they get scratched and dented and make selling the rifle very hard when you eventually move it on. Wood stocks get scratched and dented but can be steamed and sanded to remove any imperfections. If done by a professional a rifle stock can look even better than new. Just a thing to think about when buying a rifle and the possibility of getting a better price when you fancy a change.

what a nice rifle love the safari stock
I don't particularly like it but the same stock in walnut would be of interest to me.

Nice looking, good job with the bottle ,hate them big buddy bottles on any rifle, makes it look unrealistic

Daystate Huntsman Revere Safari Edition seems very Springer..even though it is air filled when you fire the pellet.seem,s loud as well
No, its about as quiet as a PCP gets. Don't forget you have a microphone just under the muzzle and another on under the target.

Was a beautiful day what is its force in joules
Hi Abdo. It's UK legal limit - 12 ft. lbs. / 16 Joules. Thanks for watching.
on a 1250 quid rifle i,d expect 1 hole groups at 30 yds, if sub 500 quid rifles can do it then surely that rifle should too
Hi Samantha. Did you listen to the video?
Is the stock interchangeable with the huntsman regal xl hr?
Yes, I believe it is, although I also believe you can't buy Safari stocks on their own at this point in time (but probably in the future).
Google doesn't give any store results that they are selling huntsman safari.😒
