Genre is Southern Blues. A LOT of music of this style sounds the same. If you search "Southern Blues" you can find many examples.
It often sounds the same becasue they use the same chords, and the guitars are almost always tuned in DADGAD.

It's not just you. The whole thing is eerily reminiscent, which I think that they were going for that, considering the motives and personality of Frank Castle. Punisher thinks he's the God that needs to cut the crooks down.
