      Not the 25 year old fedor. He was NON STOP action unstoppable, huge gas tank, nevr tired, very fast hands and striking. He out strike a K1 finalist in mirko crocop who just came from K1 and fedor stood with him and won the stand up war. That is insanity!!!

    Fedor was one of those guys that doesn’t need to say a damn thing, yet he still drew a massive audience. It’s not just that he could fight but something about his his presence that just drew attentions. Sure, he’s no longer the best but considering his entire career wise, he is the best ever. Wonderful human being as well. Kudos to Ariel to have landed this interview

      It is radically different. Some Americans, especially people like New Yorkers, think that just because people are from somewhere or speak a language, it makes the place "different". Whether a New Yorker is originally from Poland or Spain, they're American and the neighborhood is American. I've been to Japan and in no way shape or form does any Japanese neighborhood or Asian neighborhood in the US come even close to being in Japan. It's a totally different environment.

    • @kendracampbell-it7mw
      @kendracampbell-it7mw 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JohnDoe-pt7ru well they're not really american what's an american. Native Americans are real Americans. Just because people speak a different language why would it make a place different It's Americanized.Why would being from somewhere else speaking another language change that. Some of the culture is there but it's blended with American culture. They have communities for Germans,polish, Russian, Italiens. But they're still gonna be different from back home. They still are made up of American elements. They're different from the typical American and American cummunities to a degree. They speak a different language and the restaurants food things like that. But of course not entirely like back home because of American influences.

He can beat the best MMA champions, the best kickboxing champions and even the best grappling champions on the planet. Good luck topping his resume. What I always thought was amazing about Fedor is his timing. Just when you thought a right was coming, he'd drop a huge left. The man is cool and relaxed as a fighter. That always gave him the edge. One thing that Russia has that is undeniable, its athletes are humble, that is a wonderful quality, could it be that life in such a harsh environment keeps you more in tune with the reality that in the end we are all minute in the universe at the very end. I had to come back and add a small not, I hardly ever watch interviews till their end, this one I did.

    • @computerjantje
      @computerjantje 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I think you mainly compare it to American athletes. Americans have this superiority kind of thing on themselves. When pride becomes arrogance. It is a thin line. I think it is a culture thingy. I think it comes from saying they are the best all the time about themselves, they actually started to believe they are better then others. Humbleness is a great great value. I do not see it in Americans.

    It's so cool to see everyone appreciate not just a great fighter (the best) but also his humble and thoughtful nature. A breath of fresh air in the entertainment scene but really he's a window to average Russian as well as European people. You are witnessing what everlasting and CULTURE looks like, where it still exists - not in the US. The US is flash in the pan, strike while hot, here today gone tomorrow about most everything. Fedor is truly a role model.
