It’s strange seeing Dan without the blue hair, and it’s a bit strange seeing Stampy’s face lmao. I’m so used to the disembodied voices over a 10-20 minute long Minecraft video. Especially at the point I am in life now, shit feels really nostalgic, and I don’t really get to say that a lot. Despite not really being that old, literally haven’t even started college yet, I feel really old lol. That’s just a crazy decade of time just gone now.
Stampy was my childhood and I’m currently watching his new breath of the wild series every day when he releases a new episode before I go to college this fall lol

Well based off the fact the subscribers kept growing means the audience absolutely grew to include younger ages. Especially since most of their humor didn't change, which naturally catered more to younger ages. I stopped watching most of their content simply because it wasn't as funny anymore as an adult. They were only funny when being their authentic selves while playing with their friends because their actual humor came out and it matched adult humor
It's crazy how these 4 guys are still around to tell their story and haven't fallen off like other youtubers who either the fame got the best of them or controversy murdered their credibility.
Man the story of The Pals still makes me sad I remember when corl wasnt a dick and i would come home and watch the fnaf origins series as it released and i was so excited and now i have to sit and watch as they disbanded it really brings way more appreciation to the consistency of jack and marks content and how much i miss the old them when really i miss the old me
I still hear the loud slap at the beginning of every jacksepticeye video and the super loud outro with the epic music and septic steve floating around in the jar man it makes me so sad realizing this stuff
I don't think I've ever seen markiplier genuinely cry of sadness, as most of it is crying of joy seeing how supportive his fans are. But there is sure to be a video out there I haven't seen, so educate me on these videos of markiplier crying of sad tears.
Sadly, a few years ago his niece was involved in a car accident and passed away. He took a break and addressed it in a video, and was rightfully crying tears of sadness.

I was born in 2006, but I still experienced 2011-2014 TH-cam as a 5-8 year old, and still remember it quite vividly. My life is still living at home, going to school every day, and coming home to relax and watch videos. These people have absolutely changed, but I'll say that Markiplier has changed the least. Jacksepticeye has definitely changed the most, as he used to be very loud and energetic, and there was this running theme on the channel about being a boss. Right now, he makes more relaxed videos, and just chills out with his fans, which I actually prefer. I never really watched Stampy a lot, and I can't imagine that he's changed too much, but then again, I haven't watched him since Wonder Quest (which was apparently 8 years ago? I thought it was only like 4). DanTDM definitely has changed to be closer to the standard variety gaming TH-camr, along the lines of Markiplier, and 8-BitRyan. I very much miss the mod showcases he used to make, with Dr. Trayaurus and Grim, and sort of wish they kept going, but I know that he couldn't have just done the same thing over and over for 10 years straight. And speaking of mod showcases, there are a handful of mod showcase TH-camrs I watched from around 2011-2016 (CaptainSparklez, PopularMMOs, ChimneySwift11, SkyDoesMinecraft) and all of them have stopped making mod showcases. That style of video is pretty much extinct, now being replaced by clickbait Minecraft videos titled something like "I Added PARASITES To Minecraft And It Was Insane..." and boring top 10 videos with a text to speech voice that have an entire 3 sentences dedicated to each mod. TH-cam has definitely shifted towards a different style of content over time, and the change has been both positive and negative. I'd say none of these TH-camrs have gotten worse; they've just changed. And individual people have different preferences for what style of content they would rather watch. I still watch DanTDM, Markiplier, and Jacksepticeye, and have been watching them for years, and I still enjoy their videos just as much. The same way that people's preferences for what style of content they want to watch have changed, TH-camrs' preferences for what style of content they want to make can change. Instead of complaining about the way things are now, just appreciate the way things were in the past. Things aren't bad now, they're just different, and you may just prefer how they were in the past.
I used to watch a lot of Stampy when I was in elementary school with an old friend. When we were in middle school she passed away and I stopped doing the things that she and I did together because I was in too much pain. God- what really hits me are DanTDM, Jack and Mark... those three basically raised me as a kid and i thank them for the amazing childhood i had due to them. Now, i rarely find myself watching Dan, but i still watch him from time to time and it's the same with Jack and Mark. These three are really the ones that had the most impact on my life. I remember watching their videos on repeat and binging all of their videos... Back when Dan had less than a million subs, when Jack was with his cap, when mark used to be really really loud and obnoxious. I miss those times... I really do... These guys are the pillars of TH-cam. Early in their careers, they were sporadic bundles of comedy and joy. Now, they are all full of wisdom, making content for the fun of it.
I used to watch DanTDM, Stampy, Mark, and Jack all when i was younger, i started watching DanTDM and Stampy first because i was so new to youtube, and it was so cool as a young kid watching those videos at the age of like 7-8 or 9, cant remember, i am now 17 and i am so grateful to of watched these guys, they literally made me who i am, and love to play games and be happy expressing that. I will be forever greatful to all the youtubers i watched as a kid
DanTDM hit me like a ton of bricks. Back when i was younger i lived just to watch his videos in the lab, and its quite sad that as i grew up and he did too, i stopped watching him. I don't even really watch him that much anymore, but im always gonna remember those old videos.
Nearly fucking teared up watching these, these three were the top people I watched when I was younger, I've watched them for a good 6-7 years and this had a huge impact. It's crazy.

As someone who was born in 2004 and grew up with jack stampy dan and mark this hits hard even more so now as stampy has finished his lovely world series and he was my first ever TH-camr i watched
Dantdm and mark just make me sad when i realize that i watched them when i was so young and when they were in there early 20's and now they have children and I realize now that I still watch them and it just makes me happy seeing the smile just like when they were young

This video really shows the best throughout the years that you had, the youtubers especially Stampy really made a great way to show that he knows the fans have nostalgia but he really just created videos and the fact the future or growing up had made being a TH-camr better and keep creating videos is the best of what they have to say on it

I was born in 2003, i didnt grow up in the best environment. I had a really rough childhood. These youtubers..these PEOPLE that i just happened to stumble upon scrolling on TH-cam. Their videos were the only things i had to look forward to. It was the only escape from reality that i had. Im so thankful to have grown up around the time i did. Without them i dont know where id be or even what kind of person id be by now. Ive got them to thank for making me the person i am today and being there for me when i was at my lowest.

I was born in 2003, i didnt grow up in the best environment. I had a really rough childhood. These youtubers..these PEOPLE that i just happened to stumble upon scrolling on TH-cam. Their videos were the only things i had to look forward to. It was the only escape from reality that i had. Im so thankful to have grown up around the time i did. Without them i dont know where id be or even what kind of person id be by now. Ive got them to thank for making me the person i am today and being there for me when i was at my lowest.

My life as a 7 year old years ago was watching stampy And his lovely world and danTDM minecart. I loved it :D i used to always watch it whenever my brother was 14 and now he's all grown up. Life is just going by Too Fast. Also im now a 13 year old who barely understands life and is still watching youtube to do this :) .

Nostalgia hits hard man. But I'm just glad to be here. Times were so simple back in 2013-2015. Now I'm a freshman and man am I glad these guys shaped my childhood.
I started watching them when I was 8 in elementary school, now I am 18, almost to graduation, going into college now... Times have changed
