This has me crying at 10:40 PM in bed because I’m realizing how much I don’t want to grow up. I still wanna stay a kid. I want to go back to the times I didn’t have to worry about anything. We all want that again.
We all want to stay a kid, but we can't... that's the cold truth that most people need to hear. We can always look back on then, and remember all the good times we had.
While pur generation is hated upon (rightly so for certain points), we've had the greatest times on the internet. Our oldest are now adults, our middle are graduating from HS and going into collage, and our youngest are graduationg from ms...we are growing older. While our heros, our TH-camrs, are retiring, dying in some cases, or continuing with content, we'll keep these memories alive in our brains and hearts. We'll never forget these years. I always consider 2011-2020 the greatest years of TH-cam. I don't know if you all agree with me but I certainly think so. I pray that we all grow old with these amazing memories and fun times.
1:39 what jack says is absolutely true. we will never get that same feeling again because we have grown older. if we go back and watch their old videos its easy to think that the content was better back then, but thats because you associate it with easier, simpler times. if those videos were published now you wouldn’t think of them much different from their videos now, hell you might even consider them to be worse. if someone new to the channel goes back and watches those old videos they won’t feel nostalgic as we do, because for them it has just happened. for us thats time thats past, time we will never get back. we will never relive those moments ever again, not in the exact same way anyway. the only thing we can do now is look back at those old videos fondly and be happy that we were there at that time, in that moment, when we were younger.

as much as people hate on gen z i feel like we (at least me and my friends) were born around the perfect time to have the best of both worlds having parents who were raised in the 80s-90s and telling us about their stories or raising us the way they were raised( i had a channel tv and a vcr) and then also experiencing the age of technology. I don’t wanna be that person but i honestly feel bad for the newer generation because all they’ll ever know is having advanced technology, and they’ll never be able to FULLY experience what it was like for youtube and social media being relatively new.
I remember getting home from school each day, turning on my iPad and watching these guys, these great people in the world have inspired me, they’ve changed me, and it’s not just me, they’ve changed *us*, and we will always remember them, I would not be the man I am right now, with my incredible humor, and my whole personality would be so SO different without them, thank you, Albert, Pat, Jen, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Kwebbelkop, Lazarbeam, Pewdiepie, Jelly, DanTDM, I hope you all live a happy life.
Seeing this now, I have watched almost all of these youtubers, and I felt like my heart was being pulled. And for going on 8 years now, I have watched Dan, Mark, and Sean who have been my top 3 no matter what. They are what I have wanted to be, not someone going after the youtube fame... just someone that can raise a community out of an entire generation, and then some. You don't see a lot of these kinds of content creators anymore because either unfortunate things happen like with Pat or Stampy, or they eventually leave TH-cam. The memories and experiences we have with these creators are genuinely something that will stick with us for years upon years to come. Just Remember, you guys will never be too old for the content creators you watch.
To see how much theyve grown isn’t even a big deal anymore.... it’s the sudden realization that we’ve grown with them. I can’t even begin to describe how grateful I am for these guys. Since TH-cam started to become a big in about 2008 I’ve been watching. When I was five years old I used to go to my brothers laptop with him and just binge watch all of my favorite gamers. When Mark specifically became a TH-camr I was hooked, I just can’t even begin to describe how much love I have for these guys. Thank you for the memories ❤❤
I tried getting into DanTDMs new content but I just couldn’t. I missed the old style, I missed the old house, and I missed the old games. But then I rewatched the old videos and realized I didn’t enjoy them as much as I used to. I remember getting home from school and watching his videos for hours and hours on end without a care in the world. Now I’m a junior in high school. I have responsibilities and I get stressed. I wish I could go back to that time when everything seemed to be perfect. Thank you to DanTDM, Stampy, Pat and Jen, and EthanGamerTV for raising me. You guys are the goats :)

They’re right. I miss being happy. I’ve had depression for a few years now (diagnosed) and every day I think about how much better I felt in the old times.
I normally mind my own business, and you probably heard this a lot, but you can do this. Thinking about how you felt before everyday is only gonna cause you to be more depressed, and I don't wish for you to go through that. You can never forget how happy you used to be, but you can remind yourself that if you were happy before, you certainly can be happy today. Why not do something that would make you feel better? Be it playing games, watching a movie, hanging out with a good friend, going out for a little walk, helping your family, anything that sparks your interest. It could even be as simple as wanting to be alone to watch TH-cam in peace. Nothing wrong with that. 😊Most important is to not let society tell you to do otherwise. Do what you feel is right. You know how a flint and steel creates a spark of fire? Think of yourself as a small flame with only the steel in your hand. If you keep your fire lit, you will find your flint. I looked at most of their channels, and they either seem to no longer be uploading or their content is vastly different from what I remember. Content change is inevitable, and it is what it is, but does anyone know what happened to Dope or Nope, LazarBeam, and Tony? They don't seem to be uploading anymore.
You're very welcome trust me it took a while to find some of these people again and also to just find this many people that I used to watch personally I don't know what exactly happened to all of them all I can say is all of their content changed and so did they and a mix of Their audience growing up
LazarBeam's still quite active on his second and third channels, not sure what happened with the other two, but LazarBeam just uploaded yesterday on his LazarLazar channel!
This video almost brings me to tears. We as kids just used to watch these guys when we were young without a care in the world just enjoying that time and now here we are growing up, it hits even harder when those TH-camrs acknowledge that we’ve grown up like Dan for example. Him saying “we aren’t kids anymore” really hit. It really makes us realize how we’ve grown up and come a long way since back then and that we’ll never be able to experience what we had experienced back then again.

Every day, I think of multiple thing that’s more valuable on TH-cam, one thing that stood out to me is that every video that I rewatched reminds me of the memories that I cherish over the years back when TH-cam started. Now that I am seeing TH-camrs retire for a long time, makes me feel sad, and I don’t know how I will feel the same with those legendary TH-camrs before everything else. I am gonna miss those legends now that we’re in a new generation soon.

Jackaboi was my very first along side DANTDM and Stampy, and POPULARMMODS. My sister loved Markiplier and Pewdiepie more tho and this other Tuber called Skydoesminecraft. I remember being introduced to youtube my trying to find Tom and Jerry cartoons back in the day and then came across a 3D animated Tom and Jerry someone made for their college project it seemed to be. That is where it all start for me when i first found TH-cam, and then it went to Mario Bloopers, Castle Clamities, to then the very very early SMG4..... sure I miss the past but it reminds me of how far we've all grown up together as a family if you really think about it. ❤❤❤

i just cried at this since i’ve been watching some of these people since 2011 and i miss the way i used to feel just watching them… i miss that feeling so much, but it’s ok because they have grown at the same rate i have grown and i still love them and their content.
I remember those old days, like JSE said, you don't miss the old him, but the old days before you had responsibilities, back when we came home after school and watched video after video of their shenanigans, their stupid edits(MEOW), just them being themselves. But it really shows how we've all grown up because of them helping entertain us through the hard times. I've said it before and I'll say it again, thanks you Mark, Sean, Dan and the many others that helped TH-cam grow as a platform in te early days, and it makes me happy knowing how each of us have grown because of the happiness you brought to hundreds of millions of people over the years, looking back on how dumb we all were but us being dumb together and you bringing the entertainment our parents couldn't have. I grew up with Roblox and Minecraft TH-camrs, for example Denis, Sketch, Unspeakable, Preston and Shark. Nowadays I see their youtube videos and scroll by with a smile on my face.
Seeing mark and Jack and DanTDM making me feel old i started watching this guys back when i was a student now i am a firefighter i still watch them because it makes me feel like am a Kid again 😢 miss being a kid tho 😭
This, This is the kind of feeling I want to try to make with my channel when I start it. I remember watching stuff like Jacksepticeye’s happy wheels videos. Mark’s fnaf vids. The ( fake lol ) 3am video. The indescribable feeling that we had. My mission to to try my best to replicate that. Keep a memory alive. And make future generations feel the same way we have felt. It seems far fetched to me. But I know somehow, I will try to keep this feeling alive.
I remember watching all these youtubers 4 or 5 years ago and the markiplier one really made me tear up, I remember the good days it’s so sad seeing how much time has gone past.
Markiplier is one of those TH-camrs who did so much without stirring up controversy and it’s ok beautiful because to me he’s never lost that same spark he had in 2014-16, and just watching him makes me so happy
It's hard to cry, especially when you try so hard not to cry. I try not to cry around my family, my friends, and those around me... but that's especially hard when i had to leave my friends behind, back 800+ miles away in southern AZ, my grandma got breast cancer, and my grandpa is in a nursing home
Every time i see my grandpa, it hurts... It hurts so fucking bad... I remember who he was, the grandpa that made things... but now, all i see is a man who is a shell of who he was
The sad part is, I have been there. Always. Since the beginning of each of these youtubers. But the sad part is that I never had an account. Meaning I have always been watching from the sidelines. I have been removing myself from the TH-cam community for awhile now, I haven't been on TH-cam for a solid week. And I only have because I needed tutorials for something. To truly see that my Childhood is slowly going away gives me tears. Everyone wants to be a kid. God I shouldnt have watched this right now. So many great feelings watching these people over the years, and now I never get that sense of happiness from it all. Another youtuber(s) I used to watch was YouAlwaysWin, back when they did the minecraft worlds and zombies. Ugh, I miss those times.

this is the most sad video on youtube to ever exist but in a good way, it shows us to enjoy life and love every minute of it, just like we enjoyed all of these old videos we wouldnt be the same people we are now without them.
I cried to all of these like these are so true like I always said I miss the old you NO NO I DIDN'T I missed the memories and all the experiences i watched all of these guys at 5 or younger or 1 year older but now I'm 12 I have anxiety social anxiety so I get stressed a lot and I have a bunch of stuff to do I miss it i miss Pat and Jen i miss them so much and i miss all the memories and the happiness in the "Old" days like i want it so bad :(
Each time i see a youtuber retire or die out, its things i either havent wanted to watch or stuff i loved to this day, yes we are not kids anymore, yes we have grown, and yes we loved these youtubers but its just like your best friend from school in preschool, after the 4th quarter is done, no more😢

Damn I miss the way I used to feel as a kid. Thos legends were my heroes and while some of them are still around, this video hits me hard in the feels.
These TH-camr make our childhood better we have grown up with them we have a wonderful adventure and now look at us grown up but that doesn't mean that we don't remember the old days. Thank all TH-camrs for giving us the best adventure and the best of our childhood memories

The nostalgia is hitting me hard rn, I'm turning 16 this year in July and I remember watching all of these guys when I was younger and I honestly don't want to see some my childhood favourite TH-camrs quiting like this.

I remember always coming home from school and watching yt and being so young and just being happy, and now im in the adult life and just going through all the shit life puts against you, all the depressioning things about life and all problems that comes with it, i use to be a young and happy kid, well at least i thought i was and now I'm so depressed and struggling to stay on my own two feet, man life just doesn't treat you right

Jackaboi was my very first along side DANTDM and Stampy, and POPULARMMODS. My sister loved Markiplier and Pewdiepie more tho and this other Tuber called Skydoesminecraft. I remember being introduced to youtube my trying to find Tom and Jerry cartoons back in the day and then came across a 3D animated Tom and Jerry someone made for their college project it seemed to be. That is where it all start for me when i first found TH-cam, and then it went to Mario Bloopers, Castle Clamities, to then the very very early SMG4..... sure I miss the past but it reminds me of how far we've all grown up together as a family if you really think about it. ❤❤❤
Bro TH-cam back then was way better compared to now I miss the enjoyment I felt watching these youtuber I watched all these youtubers growing up except for Markiplier it like they say we all grow up at some point but not gonna lie this video actually hit me these youtuber were my childhood but I still go back and watch old videos from my childhood youtubers but it just doesn't hit the same which is sad but I still find them enjoyable

I remember as a kid I use to watch tonytctn and venturiantale and smosh I miss all of those channels. its just not the same anymore they've changed alot, and venturiantale stopped making videos a year ago and it hit me. really hard knowing that they were done with youtube. or so I think
i just cried at this since i’ve been watching some of these people since 2011 and i miss the way i used to feel just watching them… i miss that feeling so much, but it’s ok because they have grown at the same rate i have grown and i still love them and their content.

I remember those old days, like JSE said, you don't miss the old him, but the old days before you had responsibilities, back when we came home after school and watched video after video of their shenanigans, their stupid edits(MEOW), just them being themselves. But it really shows how we've all grown up because of them helping entertain us through the hard times. I've said it before and I'll say it again, thanks you Mark, Sean, Dan and the many others that helped TH-cam grow as a platform in te early days, and it makes me happy knowing how each of us have grown because of the happiness you brought to hundreds of millions of people over the years, looking back on how dumb we all were but us being dumb together and you bringing the entertainment our parents couldn't have. Thank you, this was not what I was expecting to see today.
I grew up with Roblox and Minecraft TH-camrs, for example Denis, Sketch, Unspeakable, Preston and Shark. Nowadays I see their youtube videos and scroll by with a smile on my face.
Seeing mark and Jack and DanTDM making me feel old i started watching this guys back when i was a student now i am a firefighter i still watch them because it makes me feel like am a Kid again 😢 miss being a kid tho 😭

This, This is the kind of feeling I want to try to make with my channel when I start it. I remember watching stuff like Jacksepticeye’s happy wheels videos. Mark’s fnaf vids. The ( fake lol ) 3am video. The indescribable feeling that we had. My mission to to try my best to replicate that. Keep a memory alive. And make future generations feel the same way we have felt. It seems far fetched to me. But I know somehow, I will try to keep this feeling alive.

but that's especially hard when i had to leave my friends behind, back 800+ miles away in southern AZ, my grandma got breast cancer, and my grandpa is in a nursing home

The sad part is, I have been there. Always. Since the beginning of each of these youtubers. But the sad part is that I never had an account. Meaning I have always been watching from the sidelines. Till this year. I use to watch these guys almost 24/7. Thousands of people have seen and watch these channels. But I guess they are right. I am growing up. I have been removing myself from the TH-cam community for awhile now, I haven't been on TH-cam for a solid week. And I only have because I needed tutorials for something. To truly see that my Childhood is slowly going away gives me tears. Everyone wants to be a kid. Yet some people don't get that life.
