In a sense, Absurdity is at the heart of all RPG! Diving into a pitch black tunnel to fight a big floating eye ball with tentacles is in itself the most absurd thing to do. Mork Borg is just amplifying and showcasing that absurdity in the players face :)
Be on the lookout for Pirate Borg and Castaway, both stand-alone games that are Mörk Borg-based and MB-compatible. Castaway is currently being Kickstarted and is also getting solo rules.
Really cool! I agree its so badass that sometimes its just too much and fall into absurdity ! But thats what I like about this game, its not a plain experience. Like Ok you want to kill tha Beast but what if tha Beast want to be friend with you ? Or What if you want to become a Beast yourself? Or you're starving to death and you're torn between eating your new puppy or die (because you wont find a Inn anytime soon in those wasteland) etc... Mork Borg is a marginal/punk RPG and I DO NOT SAY THAT in any pejorative sense! What I mean by that is about its original take on the classic fantasy DnD generic formula and that its pushing it to the limit! No glorious day ahead your doomed already ! No fabulous leveling up or glorious victories for your mage named Gandalf! From that point, what are you gonna do with your life ? And back again in the absurdity loop ! No future!!!
I picked up this game this week because of your series. Rolled my character yesterday. Going to write my adventure and then get started!
Loved the Mork Borg series! Thank you!
Just wanted to say thank you again, I really loved it. Maybe next time on a map you drew yourself and we can play on as well? A man can dream
Loved your playthrough. It was very evocative, it flowed nicely and it clearly complemented your imagination perfectly.

Thank you for the borg videos! Have you played cy_borg?
Sure thing! I have not played that.
I somehow missed this video! Just playing my first solo play through using Solitary Defilement and it is incredible.
This is by far the best review i've seen from mork borg and your gameplay was great!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
This was great. Definitely picking up a ton of material to dig in.

Dark humor, like food during a famine, not everyone gets it 😆
Thanks for this series on MB and SD. I don’t think Solitary Defilement gets the attention it deserves.
Sure thing! SD is an incredible supplement. It covers so much without being unwieldy.

Would love for you to check out cy_borg 😁
I'm sure I'll eventually pick that up at retail.
