    Awesome video! Sorry about the small text in Solitary Depths - I'll see what I can do about that :D Glad you like it though!
    Also, Fisk Borg is definitely one of my all-time favourite MORK BORG supplements too, so glad you covered it!

      No need to apologize! Just a request. :) It's a good supplement.

      Bought both the solitary supplements. First as PDFs and then later as printed books. I love them!

    Well said in the intro. You and geekgamers are right. Collecting and reading game material (both RPG and board game) is part of the hobby, or maybe even its own hobby. There's 1) researching these ludic artifacts, 2) acquiring them, 3) reading and understanding them, and 4) firing up the engine and running them. These are all legit ways to experience this one-of-kind medium. I've spent a lot of time in each of these four buckets, and they're all equally rewarding.

    I didn't think I was very into fishing supplements for an RPG but Fisk Borg looks great. Honesty all of these supplements look really good.
    Daniel have you seen the Magic the Gathering based solo rpg by Gray Army Gaming here on TH-cam? He's made some interesting ways to use bulk mtg cards as an entire rpg. I know you're a fan of cards so I figured I'd mention it here.

    • @TheDungeonDive

      I have! I’ve even begun looking for a box of MTG commons.

      Awesome. If its a possible topic for a future solorpg friday. I know I would be really interested in hearing your thoughts and ideas for mtg cards in an rpg. May you find a box with few duplicates and much inspiration!

    Thank you very much for this overview!!! Really enjoy seeing what all those "expansion" for Mork Borg are about before buying (some of) them! Who am I kidding hahah! I'll probably end up buyin all of them...But glad to see them before! Thanks again! This game as more content than the Marvel franchise haha!

    I very much agree regarding the collecting aspect of the hobby. As I get older I am also starting to pass-on parts of my collection to make sure someone has a chance to enjoy them.

    As a total Mork Borg newbie (I'm really only messing around with Forbidden Psalm at this point), I had no idea there were so many creative supplements for the RPG system. That demon deck is quite creative, but I wasn't expecting an entire book on fishing! I wonder what it is about this system that inspires creators to come up with all this stuff?

    • @TheDungeonDive
      @TheDungeonDive  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It's the simplistic rules and totally open 3rd party license

    Something about Mork Borg supplements pulls every collector lever in my highly susceptible brain. Love reading them, love using them. They encourage rule bashing, stitching, and grafting and just general encouragement to choose fun over fidelity. Just an amazing system that benefits in a big way from the form and collage-like aesthetics of the materials themselves. It seems excessive, but it serves a very real purpose. Love it. Wallet, not so much, though.

    I think the reason the text of Sölitary Depths looks small is because the printed copy hasn’t quite been sized to fill the page?
    It looks like there’s room above and below the headers and footers. I might be wrong, but there’s less space around the text in the PDF.
    I often have that problem when trying to print US-formatted RPGs on ISO 216 paper because the letter size is wider but shorter than what the rest of the world uses.

    • @TheDungeonDive
      @TheDungeonDive  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s zine size, so it’s printed right. Most zines when printed have the tops and bottoms cut, I just don’t do that on mine. Text is tiny on the PDF as well.

    Not the Omens! You mean the Psalms. Omens are the other mechanic, like ability to re-roll dices.

      You don't need the book. You can use the book without the cards, and the cards without the book, but they work in tandem when you have them both.

      @@TheDungeonDive This is true, but I prefer hardcopies and I have yet to land on a DIY printing regime that I find fully satisfactory. I was eyeing up the yellow cardstock you must be using for covers, need to track some of that down.

      Your lets play have alway's been very good (Warhammer quest, Darklight, SoB). Even your solo rpg sessions.
      It's not as much watching you playing than lessen to you telling the story of your characters in the same Time as them evolving in the adventure. Emerging natation with a nice visual support and compréhensive rules for the World.
