what do you think about putting in some old bay and going a little lighter on the nutmeg? I'm going to make this recipe tomorrow mouring but I'm thinking it needs a little kick for my taste buds. Any better suggestion than just the typical old bay? I know old bay and blue crab go great together but it's a strong flavor to just throw into another recipe.

Cayenne and sherry is always nice. You could def. adjust this to your taste too =)

Do you need unbleached flour?
Hello! It's the one I prefer as it's the same as all purpose {which you can use} without the added chemical bleaching.

Sure thing. I find colorful peppers to be sweeter but peppers in general will add a nice umami.

do you know that seldery turn bad fet into water~....for crab suop i use river crabs or kingler krab for big family~ youres is very creamy i see~
I'm not sure what type the seldery are. I wonder how it tastes. As it is, I've never met a crab I didn't like =)
I like soups but not the creamy soups I'll probably change some things to make it thinner
