She mentioned she was divorced, can't imagine the kind of torture her ex husband would have gone through. Divorce for her is to create sympathy to get what she wants.
In family court she would have been able to harass the husband and his family as well as extort money from them. So she must be in the impression that she can get whatever she wants by going to court 😀

I was single during my PhD and there was a time when something negative was happening every single day. It takes a toll on you and not everyone handles it the same way.
I've seen things get so bad for some PhD scholars that the PhD degree itself in the end holds no professional or personal value for them. One has to find right balance and take right decisions in life.

While the woman's case has demerits, "ill thoughts against a prestigious institution" is a very subjective opinion as prestige itself is based on perception which does not have standing in the neutrality of law. No neutral or legal decisions should be made on the basis of perception but rather on facts. It is unfortunately not easy to deduce facts on the basis of what we see on these videos.

They've seen the good and the bad people for years, and knows very well what type of a person an individual is. Though our judiciary is slow like a tortoise, I believe the decision made on this video was justifiable.
