India's intent to invest in these mines and explore additional partnerships, like the one with Australia, showcases its efforts to diversify its lithium sources and reduce its heavy dependence on Chinese imports, a vulnerability considering the geopolitical tensions between the two countries.
Poor India shame🌶🍌🍌🍌
Tldr
Twss
Can't go very far! Technology to refine rare earth is monopolize by China!
Yeah it's good progress but still the processing of lithium will be done abroad and mostly in China.

Brilliant melie making great moves with us
What about the sodium ion battery development by some Swedish company and kpit of Pune ?
Why our pappu never think of such alternatives. He is busy in touring to Thai, Malaysia.
$20 million cannot build a long term serving road to the mines.
We are developing country.
🙃Remember Argentina devaluated it’s currency 🙃20 million non Argentinian currency is worth crazy amount .
Calm down...if India is doing it then it can... people like you have contradicted before but we have proven ourselves... besides it's just initial investment plan...
You have to understand $20 million is such a large sum for a poverty-stricken country like India
@@dimsimbogan.: India will possibly get 100 Million worth of Lithium.
Investing twenty million US dollars in mining is nothing.
@AnnaLoskovhski
What ... I mean WHAT?
According to the report the $20m is for search of new mines, probably after finding the deposits more investment wd follow
Who will process that and actually build batteries? Where would the tech come from? Even the US is struggling to do it. China CATL and Gotion are building battery factories in America to supply American companies.
All the more reason to give them
A new supplier
@@BasedTruthSeeker again... Where and who will process and where you get the tech? China owns over 50% of all global patents. Lol
@@k.k.c8670 yeah but they dont have exclusive rights do they? Its only a matter of time before the tech is either researched or another alternative is found. And once that happens, watch all these chinese companies shut doors and go back to their domestic markets like most of them do
@@BasedTruthSeeker you obviously don't understand patents
@@BasedTruthSeeker been watch Chinese companies 'go home' fir 6 years now. But..how come the are still all over? Lol. They aren't Indian companies.. They actually make things like people wish to buy... Globally. Whether you like it or not.
Please also talk about telecom bill. Its pros and cons.
How about the lithium deposits found in india.?
Huh? I always thought that "White Gold" was White Gold and Lithium was, well, Lithium.
Just another Hindoo scam...😂
Will Argentina accept rupees for payment?
No. They are moving towards US dollars. And they aren't accepting any other currency either.
rupees?just waste paper.A currency that can't buy anything
Argentina Brazil are moving towards usa
In many industries, India depends on China at the level of 70%, 80% and some are as high as 90%. The so-called Indian Growth Miracle is just importing Chinese products and components.
Yeah no😅
in my house 95 percent of products are indian made including ev bike ,car,pc components,tv ,only i saw the last chinese product 5 years before in india! all are of now indian companies made! except mobile phone but manufactured in india! come to india then see the truth of india's miracle growth! if india imports from china then its gdp will reduce ! also for growth truth= construction, mining, manufacturing is a joke to you! just research on india's growth secret on any platform! also your sentece seems like of uneducated and jealousy!
You expect Indians to believe that? They don't even accept their No.111 position on the World Hunger Index 😂
And the so-called Chinese Growth Miracle was China being the west’s good little lapdog for a good 2 centuries. “Oh yes daddy USA yes you can have our wives, yes we build your railway oh you’re great” 🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡🤡
Thanks for your (PRC) valuable information.
Let's wait
What happened to deposits found near Rajasthan ?
Simultaneously, we should invest on Sodium Ion battery technology.
I am confused.. We are having lithium reserve of around 6 million tonnes in kashmir, Is it not explored more or we are seeing the already established reserves
I forgot the lie I told yesterday when telling a lie today
Don't you mean 20 Billion?
We found lithium block in j&k what happened to thoose
Ask AI to extract it from J&K, take help of tech giant co. who are further more giants in cutting jobs
What happened to the big lithium deposit found in Kashmir? Was it fake news?
I forgot the lie I told yesterday when telling a lie today
Lots of Chinese Bots here as usual.Chinese jealousy coming through.
Miss Palki India will never overtake China Why because India talk first do later Wbile China do first talk later
Potential reserves.. not the real figures
At same time, China is doing researches to use Sodium instead of Lithium, which is cheap and easily available.
Ambani also
Going behind lithium instead go for hydrogen fuel cell
What happened to the Lithium reserves found in J&K and Rajasthan
It will take 4-5 years to start extraction from there
It will start once the politicians have set up the network to line their pockets.. the technology is ready
What does India do with it, we don't have any lithium refineries companies, we are still dependent on china for refinery equipment.
India, start with $20 Billion Dollars, you might get something out of the Lithium contracts. $20M gets you a "Hello" and that is about it.
Ghana also got lithium... India should consider Ghana
Still in $
May we mine and make the highest quality lithium❤❤
India mei lithum mila tha na🤫🤭
Breaking: India found Lithium in cow shit.

Chile and Australia has the world largest Lithium reserve. India want to buy from Argentina. The World laughing all the way home at India play Geopolitical card.
This is the story of India. It has 5.9 million white cold but cannot extract I’m disappointed. Get the white cold out of Kashmir as soon as possible.
Yea erhanol on brazil.

Sp modi created space for africa at g20 why then africz cannkt repay indis with lithoum min
Surely too fussia had litoum in lts lsrge land msss.
No cell pr digital or ev for putim😮
8 years only this battery business will move....Green hydrogen going to take the market...
green hydrogen already dead, cost too much energy to extract, compress and transport
@@jetli740 More hydrogen farms will rise...the price will reduce...you will see it ...just understand how many farms are under development in Australia...because of too much land area .
@@bharatmatha1877 you just dont get it do you. economy of scale dont work with green hydrogen, dont matter how large the scale is, it still use the same amount of energy to create the hydrogen, the larger the solar farm the costly it get.
if green hydrogen you intend for car usage, you should look at japan model it never took off, the whole country have about 160 filling station. india is even worse it has only have 2.
good luck with that
Palki must be joking? For USD20m to invest in mine? The money will not be even enough for exploratory stage! 😂 don’t make a fool out of yourself please.
Ungala ooottha
Unfortunately most of the reserves in Argentina and Australia are already bought up by China. Not only Lithium but also Cobalt reserves in Africa have been mostly bought up by China. India is very late to the EV game but it's still good that we are making some progress.
There are other reserves than Chinese ones. When we find enough new resources, we'll just stop buying Chinese ones
We have lithium too. And yes we are late bcs of our earlier govt. Who were anti nationals.
In semi conductor, mobile ,EV and solar panel China is leading the world. Now, India must give a good challenge to become new player in this market. Then India will win the battle
Indians can't even compete with the Chinese even if they were the first to venture into Lithium batteries. Just look at how Indian smartphone manufacturers being kick out of business by Chinese brands in the Indian market
Not just lithium mining but also processing is very important. 79% of the lithium in the world is processed in China. So even though we have lithium or got lithium from somewhere we will probably send it to China for processing till we setup a processing plant in India
India has battery technology? 😂😂😂😂
🇮🇳 we need to invest in resources of our own such as lithium found in Kashmir.
To solve this, India should develop technologies to reduce dependence on Lithium.. too late to reduce dependence on China as they already own most mines in the Lithium Triangle
Well if your are investing in mines in Argentina then you now part of the American lead "Globalization". One the reason that India didn't want to participate in "Globalization" was that it would have function within American alliance.
Go ahead india.
I love india❤
In long run it's not feasible.
What about inovation and using other metals for batteries?
Sodium
The power of innovation is still with China! That's why USA is having cold war on technologies with China!
China plans to roll out 2 new EV powered by sodium ion battery in 2024 🐼
China is currently running a thorium MSR in the desert.🐼
20 mil is nothing in the grand scheme of things
So true. China is offering a $ 10 Billion deal to mine lithium in Afghanistan. 🦋
Never limit the supply chain so there is always an alternative if a problem arises, China is following this policy where it can. Planning for the future is what has brought them success.
It is China's policy. They're not following as THEY ESTABLISHED THIS METHOD. THEY THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE THEIR ECONOMIC REVIVAL IN 1979.
but i can see the crisis coming in china's future !just wait for few years!
Excellent job Indian government...👍
Is 20 million for peanuts ?
What happened lithium mines found in Kashmir?
She already told in the last minute.
Not kashmir but Jammu
It is not Chili. It is Chiley. Also stop telling Crore and Lakh etc. When you are trying to project a global image, please talk in terms of MM of dollars or B of dollars. The numbers are always two orders of magnitude higher in Indian Rs vis a vis USD.
Palki, can India make a proper ev car? China don’t even care of this
India already made many ev car kid go and sleep or beg for flour
India made tricycles ... bicycles with 3 wheels...
There was talk about sodium batteries... Re lithium, better to focus on the Triangle than the Triad.
I'm glad that Argentina and India are getting a long!! however, Great Britain cannot keep on harassing Latin America!!!!
What happened to the Billions worth of Lithium Reserves in J&K..🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Didn't we find some in Kashmir too...no update on that so much...!!!
We have mines we don't have mining technology yet. So we are trying to get that
What currency is Argentina accepting, neither Argentina's currency nor India's currency are worth having, their currencies are not marketable.
😂😂 chinese bot. UAE is doing oil trade in Indiam currency now.
Chinese yuan
@@joet5713 Found out. Argentina & India did a currency swap in February last year, The RBI allowed exports and imports between the two trading partners to be settled in rupees last year. This means Argentina has to keep Rupees cash reserves. Also means India bought Argentinian Pesos that are constantly worth less as they are devalued. Currency trade is risky market.
$20 millions investment in lithum in south america in 5 years, does not even pay for a transportation network to deliver lithuim to the nearest port.
And they believe to compete with China, anything which is beneficial and is outside the boundaries of India I don't think India could beat China for now at least.
it clearly says for exploration
One of the best attempts & probably a reality soon to reduce our dependence on Dictator Jinping's China
Argentina new president kicked out Chinese from thier country.. 😂😂 even cancel thier mining contract
Counties rushing to acquire lithium mining rights might face regrets as emerging battery technologies like solid-state, sodium-ion, and iron-air present more cost-effective and sustainable alternatives. The future of energy storage is evolving fast!
Those are fine for stationary requirements. But they will all be heavier in terms of weight per gram to deliver power for mobile applications
Sodium battery is also being made by Indian young scientist.
I mean we are going to become a electronics manufacturer phone tablets laptops etc all of that will still use lithium no solid state there so..
lithium and ethanol are the future fuels for india because reently india was the first country to invent ethanol powered cars indegenously! so no need more fuels as of now! we already have large scale factories of sodium ion !
@@iam_arnavisaha32 I think Brazil is doing Ethanol use much much before India realized it. (I am a proud Indian)
India dont compete with china in every field..😂 in reality ,india just talk and other country work sleinty..,
China just invested $1.7 billion to develop two Lithium mines in Argentina. Investments are not zero sum game .
Sodium batteries are coming soon..even Indonesia has huge Lithium deposits, they welcome India too
What happened to our lithium reserve.???
We don’t have the infra yet to extract it, however the government is starting that initiative too
Just a nagging thought far removed from the present issue.....
If india is so dependant on china for many of her intermediate products, how and why are people talking of boycotting china economically?
The lithium reserves discovered in kashmir are another point. We have the reserves but no technology to harvest them. Yet we often see videos on social media berating Pakistan on this same issue. How is that logical??
Guys.. now is the time, call Adani Ji to acquire these mines. we'll take care of all his haters..
Why should export of lithium to China they had many countries to export use your brain India not deal
no wonder why argentina is always in debt like venezuela neigjhbour
I thought they found big reserves in Jammu 😂😂
Supplys to India is not even 2% and India do not have the technology in a costly manner to used this supply
we probably have the best school of mining in asia and we lack the ability to explore the mines of j&k and rajasthan.... why ?? it will take time but we must start now so that we don't fall behind
That just showed you guys do not have the best mining school in Asia. lol
@@jdc3636and who does? The Chinese running around the world for it?

I new she's going to mention china
B4 I start watching
20 million USD in South America for a period of 5 years.
And they believe to compete with China, anything which is beneficial and is outside the boundaries of India I don't think India could beat China for now at least.
China already move out from it's border with BRI! India is still not in sight yet?
the entire west is relying on china and ur here talking abt one country😂😂
But India seems to be late coz China is far ahead
It's too late, Lithium demand will go down as the Sodium Batteries are much cheaper and globally abundant !!
Already Sodium based EVs are launched in next 2-3 years Lithium demand will sharply fall.
China plans to roll out 2 lines of sodium ion battery power EV this year 🐹
Where are all the see sea PEE ceasing "peeing" bots?😮
When Palki stops her China bashing hysteria
20 million in 5 years for investments? What is that going to do?
20 million is the cost of the expedition to explore not extraxtion infrastructure. “Finders Fee” if you may call it so
Will we see an OLEC in the future? Also, I thought India had found Li reserves of its own.
Yes India has but it’ll take time to develop the infrastructure to mine them.
To do what exactly? lol
200 crore haha
so it means depend on argentina now, isn't it? why buy from argentina when there are lithium mines untapped in india like in kashmir?
Polki’s love of China is undeniable 👍
Wet dreams every single night. LOL.

Maybe India should look to do offtake deals or MOU's with Australian companies in Argentina? Let's see what 2024 holds for the Lithium industry l.
Just my thoughts and opinion 🤔
Oh! At the moment india lacks the capability of mining it. Or maybe India is planning to keep them as reserve.
I heard a few months back that India had discovered Lithium in Jammu or Kashmir.
