I'm always amazed by your approach and knowledge. How can one person know so much and have the time and drive to do what you do. I learned a ton about body work painting from watching you. Thanks so much

That bubbling sound from the oil pump was perfection !! 😂 the crackhead back story on the wrench’s, awesome. Last, I like how you hand wrench everything and don’t resort to the impact. Hate seeing guys do that when working on old engine/cars cause you know they’re going to break bolts. Really looking forward to seeing the progress in this one Thanks

Nice. I thought you was going to have to pull out the jaws of life out to get that Oil filter off. 😂

Chris!!! Im enjoying the videos!! Its great seeing ya tear into the engine and I appreciate ya showing all the parts you dont usually see in videos, bolts breaking, parts snapping etc. I will eventually get past the rust repair in my wifes 240z build and get to funnet stuff like the engine work etc..

You could have preluded the engine/ See if your engine was getting oil pressure by running the oil pump by hand. All you have to do is remove crack shaft balancer. Remove the oil pump shaft ring gear on the crank. Then remove distributer, you will see a slot on top of the oil pump shift. Rig up a tool to chuck up into a drill and turn the oil pump. That will prelude the whole engine. You could also connect a external oil pressure gage to that port.

Agree, don't go with those 13" wheels. Those are way over priced anyway.
