You generally don't include the AUF of the alg, in the alg itself. Also you don't count double flicks (U2, M2, F2, etc.) as two seperate moves in most times, though double flick moves are usually slower than just one flick moves (U, U', M, M', F, F', etc.) Also knowing both algs in the video (or at least a variation of both algs) is good because then you can go straight to executing one of the algs, depending on which angle it is (knowing the AUF of both algs also helps). If anyone is curious, here are the algs I use (there's like only a 2 move differences from these ones and the ones from the vid): (M2' U' M2' U') M U2' M2' U2' M M U' (M2' U' M2' U') M U2' M2'
As a bonus tip, you can replace the M' moves with M moves to avoid overworking your M finger :D
