0:27 🌶 Basic: If you’re just starting out, you’ll need to understand these finger tricks to do simple yet fast cubing turns. 6:24 🌶🌶 Intermediate: If you want to get fast at cubing, you’ll need these finger tricks to build a strong foundation. You’ll learn techniques to avoid re-gripping and overworking. 12:35 🌶🌶🌶 Advanced: These finger tricks are pretty rare and sometimes difficult, but mastering them can make your executions more optimal. 12:48 * THIS IS OBVIOUSLY THE MIDDLE FINGER 😭
Yoooo, bro, you should make a video explaining all the algorithms for OLL and PLL along with finger tricks. That would be a really cool and useful video. Shout out from Argentina!
In the beninging I had terrible finger tricks and later learnt some of these, glad this video explains different situations I would otherwise have done something inefficiently, thanks!
It is probably me being a photography nerd but maybe you should turn on focus breathing comp if you're using a native sony lens. Other than that I really liked the examples you gave and great video overall
What would also be usefull as a complement to this video would be to explain a little bit how to analyse an algorithm and for what reason you shoud use which finger trick. For example it there are 2 (or more) R moves in the algorithm (that may be separated by U or U') you should find a solution but if you only get U...U'....U....U' you can keep it simple... Any way, a big thank you for your job on these very usefull viedos 😇
M moves could be done with the index finger pushing on the upper layer without changing much on the home grip except for what is necessary to move the central layer
If you have fat fingers, the D2 move could be done with ring and middle finger. I simply do not have enough room to use the pinky. If you have long fingers the D2 move could be done with only one ring finger (perhaps using the other one to stabilise the "landing")
@@vibhorgoel9774 My finger's length must be above the average because I also do U2 in one move with my index. To have an idea of what it looks like you can go there : th-cam.com/video/laKDY1nqaak/w-d-xo.html It's a french child song about a caterpillar called Camille ;-)
15:50 I do this dot case like so: index lefty S', R, pinch U, R', RING righty S, U', R', F, R and a THUMB F' (dude istg thumb f' sledge made my life way easier)
fingertricks are like proper typing on keyboards. I've been doing it my way for so long that I either just happen do to it correctly or will probably never learn to because I keep going back to what I know if I don't actively think about doing it "properly".
Great video! Keep up the work, already know all this but still really helpful for beginners who are aiming to get faster. Maybe do some tutorials for other cubes like 2x2, 4x4, pyraminx, etc. (Personal opinion only)

You can watch a TH-camr named Jperm. Jperm already made a video about it with fingertricks.
Your tutorials are absolutely phenominal dude. Yours and J perm's are the only ones I can actualy follow.
The yoooo is still missing 😭😭 you promised me years ago you would say it in your next video but it never happened 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
😭😭😭
😭😭😭😭
😭😭😭😭😭
😭😭😭😭
😭 😭 😭 😭
Bedankt man, erg behulpzaam, (ik denk dat ik in mijn broek heb gepoept)
greetings from Germany

13:07 I was in contortions listening along until I looked again and *THATS NOT YOUR RING FINGER* 😮😂
I was in utter disbelief when he said that.
Even the in-video text days ring finger.
It was a disaster dodged.
Super easy Rotationless Aa perm :wide t perm which is rUr’U’r’Fr2U’r’U’rUr’F’
Works so well better than regular❤🎉
@@invalidred wow so good
hold headlights on left
But J perm said it's not good
Don't do this. You can execute both fast but wide T perm is 14 moves while the recommended A-perms are only 9 moves so A perms will be mostly faster.
I love how he mentioned the rubik's cube in the title
Maybe to catch more beginners
Or because title was too short
Or because Rubik's is "Yoooo" tier
Or because Yoooooooooooooooo
Thank you Milan for your invaluable help in the cubing community. I'm not a subscriber but the work you're doing is great.
Just subscribe. It's free.

Thanks for letting me know, never realised that was a thing lol
my favorite finger trick is the thumb u' for the third 'u in anti-sune
Can you do a video about your cube collection pls .😎👍
When are you going to make a full CFOP tutorial?
What would also be usefull as a complement to this video would be to explain a little bit how to analyse an algorithm and for what reason you shoud use which finger trick. He has uploaded full pll and oll videos with proper finger tricks. I hope most of us will figure it out with practice.
11:33 I do it with my ring finger followed by my middle finger, idk if that's weird but it's much easier for me
Problem with that is grip of the cube, then you only have your index finger holding it :)
@@CubeHead That's true, I actually never noticed that! It hasn't caused me any problems, so I probably won't change it
@@lemonadonGD I guess, if you try to execute a perm at CubeHead's speed, cube becomes extra-unstable. It can fall with inadequate support.
M moves could be done with the index finger pushing on the upper layer without changing much on the home grip except for what is necessary to move the central layer
THIS IS GENIUS
If you have fat fingers, the D2 move could be done with ring and middle finger. I simply do not have enough room to use the pinky.
If you have long fingers the D2 move could be done with only one ring finger (perhaps using the other one to stabilise the "landing")
They are very risky methods normally. For me, cube becomes unstable and difficult to control.
But as always, if it works out for you, go with it

11:33 personally i do d2 with ring finger then middle finger it’s pretty good imo
Same
15:50 I do this dot case like so:
index lefty S', R, pinch U, R', RING righty S, U', R', F, R and a THUMB F' (dude istg thumb f' sledge made my life way easier)
Wow what an understanding video w cubehead

Your Gan 11 sounds so nice! I wish mine sounded like yours!
Thanks for this video, really waited for this😁
Bro CubeHead, why dont you make another 'I Try Your Scrambles' Video
fingertricks are like proper typing on keyboards. I've been doing it my way for so long that I either just happen do to it correctly or will probably never learn to because I keep going back to what I know if I don't actively think about doing it "properly".
Hey for the U double flick I do middle first and then index is that alright cubehead????
Very helpful video!
Great video! Keep up the work, already know all this but still really helpful for beginners who are aiming to get faster.
Maybe do some tutorials for other cubes like 2x2, 4x4, pyraminx, etc.

Thanks for teaching me that love from Myanmar aka Burma ♥ ♥

i miss the yoooooo
the video we needed and deserved!
can you make a 5x5 tip tutorial?
I just peel the stickers off, but tis video is amazing for that method too!
For a perm i use t perm but with all wide r moves.
Yoooooooooooooooo cubehead how are you today😂😂

my fingers are small
D2 is also hard
the exact video I was looking for, thank you!
helpful.
Why you don’t use your left index finger for the F’?
How does Pablo do finger tricks?
💥 BOOM 💥
🤜 AAH (in pain) 👊
(That's Pablo)
Hey cubehead, I js got a tornado v3 but don’t know which lubes to put in it to make it faster, you got any suggestion lmk.
I put a few drops of gan lube 2 in it, works very well for me!
wait, published 2 days ago?!?!?
As always a good video
bro i was just learning cfop from u then i felt that i shd learn finger tricks as I am slow at cube turning then i just saw this video posted
Hello I'm a big fan!, your tutorials are amazing 😍
