Good work, nice to see a Trap more focused ghoti version instead of an turbo Arionpos. I really love this interaction with Snopios/Fury, that's really nice to know. Can't wait to test myself your version
@@teamprimetime69 I repeat. The On Special Summon effect i.e. the effect that triggers on special summon is either player’s turn. The banish effect, i.e the effect that triggers when it is banished to special summon itself is only on your opponents turn. I may not be using the correct nomenclature there, apologies for any confusion there!
Zep quick synchros on summon no matter what, don’t confuse that with its other effect when banished on your opponents turn it immediately summons itself than let’s you quick synchro
shade targets a monster and causes it to be permenantly banished when it leaves the field. Fury targets a monster to banish it until your next standby. Its not perfect removal just a temporary. The way replacement effects like Shade’s apply is that they overwrite the existing parameters of the original removal to apply its own. Thus if you were to target a monster with fury that was previously affected by shade, shade’s effect would overide fury and cause it to be permanently banished instead of returning on your next standby phase
whale only miss if you activate to synchro summon in answer to something. If you activate to synchro summon in a open game state with arionpos, not only it does not miss timing, but you also can chain link block one of the effects.
Supay, Duskwalker is a free level six synchro after a discard cost, summoning Arionpos, which banishes a level six or lower Fish straight from deck without burning up your Normal Summon
i can understand the sentiment to that. When building the deck, I always had a concern that the lvl 6s were too much. Eanoc had no special summon condition and snopios, once in rotation was rareyl ever needed at more than one. However as I tested more I ended up bumping them up more and more for the things they did. Eanoc grabbing your traps while still being a body for said traps really gave the deck something beyond “arionpos turbo” and with 8 ways into paces he rarely ever was bricky. snopios was always a card that I needed to see to really get anywhere in games; with the benefit of opening him in arionpos line’s being that I could instead banish a fish tuner instead for more plays. Arguably you could probably cut both but I did appreciate the value both provided in giving the deck a variety of plays
@@ygotony9664 I can understand your idea. I tried using Eanoc at first, at one copy, and I didn't find it that useful, but I didn't know that you could chain Ghoti Chain to Askaan's effect without losing it. Even considering that, I feel that with my list I can consistently make the same basic 2-cards combos as you (Askaan + Deep Beyond interuptions) while still playing 7 handtraps and 3 Crossout, which can also be used to protect from opponent's handtraps and thus going trough with my combos. Il also play 3 Evenly Matched which is still super strong (even playing first in some games) and Crossout can also protect me from and opponent's Evenly. And yet I also play 3 Dimensionnal Fissure, to have a chance against Ishizu Tear. I agree with you about Shifter, it doesn't fit that good in the deck and won't seem that needed now since we have 3 D Fissure and 3 Macro Cosmos. And I play Supay package over Instant/Ready Fusion. Il also looked at Coelacanth builds and they seem to end with the same 2 interruptions boards + Dragite and sometimes Chenying for instance, which is obviously strong, but not enough IMO to play all this package. I chose simplers lines of combos, but more consistency and others ways of interrupting. What's your take on all this ?

Tony is the GOAT
This deck profile makes alot of sense I have seen ghoti with no traps... Going to build this deck for regionals next month...
Most of this looks surprisingly doable. I’d only be missing a handful of cards
damn he actually followed through.
How does it play with swordsoul?
I use the ghoti deck more like a turbo more than an actual deck, use Fish and sharks as a main objectives y ghoti as a synchro alternativd
TONY ❤
Nice profile guys
is moray of greed or moray of avarice good draw engine in this deck?
Something is moving in the background in your kitchen?
Zep literally says you can only special summon during your opponents turn if it is banished
slight mixup there, its actually the on special summon effect that is either turn
@@ygotony9664 how is the special summon on either turn when it’s says on your opponent’s turn

I am still trying to figure out your point with ghoti shade and ghoti fury of temp banish to permanent banish…
shade targets a monster and causes it to be permenantly banished when it leaves the field.
Fury targets a monster to banish it until your next standby. Its not perfect removal just a temporary.

Wouldn’t whale miss the timing if you chain arinopos effect?

Any thoughts on using the Supay engine to turbo out the level six Synchro?
Whats the supay engine?

Profile is bad. Snopios only needed at one and the other ghoti lv 6 brick as hell
