Danny Trejo is looking to hurt Christina Cox and Taylor Spreitler to get revenge on the head of their family Brad Rowe in this Lifetime stalker movie, also known as Unfinished Betrayal.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen it but I THINK he got her when she was almost home. I may have that wrong though.
The film called the contractor that came out in 2013 is about a person name elizabeth hires Javier to finish remodeling her home and quickly starts to grow suspicious of his intentions.
Cant believe danny trejo is pushing 80 thought he was younger than that.
I believe he gave up drinking years ago. That’s probably helped him look younger than he is.

What a strange remake of Cape Fear. Also they meant their daughter was dressed like an average lawyer and she charged by the hour. She charged too much.
I didn’t even make that link but yeah, a very similar story.
@@JayHarangue my favorite kind of bad movie is the kind that is clearly a knock off a superior film. Especially ones that aim for something well beyond their reach. Here they made the mistake of going with the inferior remake of Cape Fear with De Niro which muddied the waters with a father who wasnt a good guy like in the original with Gregory Peck. Only this time they muddy it even more with a rather believable story of a California white guy prosecutor who railroaded a minority suspect. If they had made him a lefty/democrat who thought he was the least racist man of all time, it'd be dangerously realistic. It might be the first Lifetime Movie with a message.
@@gnielse4474 That's so true. Had this been made even a couple years later, they'd 100% have pushed that to the forefront of the story. I haven't found Lifetime movies to shove politics down the audience's throat like Hollywood does. Most of them are just normal films with a normal plot. There are a few exceptions of course.
I've not seen the original Cape Fear. It's been on my watch list for ages. Must get round to that cos I loved the Nick Nolte one.
@@JayHarangue I think the idea of a film pointing out the bastion of supposed racial tolerance that is California is really as racist as a deep southern state as Alabama is a good idea. They kind of stumbled into it here. They're just a life time movie with mininal skill and a weekend to make a movie in a prosucers guest house. So, they accidentally handled politics in a low key way.
The original Cape Fear is superior to the remake. It's got none of the fat that makes the remake kind of bloated. Mitchum is also massively better as an actor. He was a drug dealer who sort of fell backwards into acting instead of being a middle class Italian guy who had a lot of connections like De Niro. Basically Mitchum actually knew how to be a creep.

Well..it’s been 10 years and they don’t need to do sequels. They just make the same film but with different actors. Next time he’ll be a plumber or a pool cleaner (I’ve done a video on that one) 🤣
