You’ve got a very entertaining channel, Wes. Definitely earned my sub. Especially enjoying vids of my motherland, Peru. Stay safe and keep on with those vids!
I suggest you to visit Peru Negro, the most known afro-peruvian cultural association :D Also, there is one town in Peru that preserves this cultural tradition: El Carmen, is located in the province of Chincha, in the department of Ica
Bro , lucky I found your videos , most this one from my country and my city , you are amazing , love how you connected with the people , Peruvian people are amazing , love you cuz you know how to respect other country’s , you always will be welcome in Peru 🇵🇪, love you bro !!!!
Thank you so much! And yes, I love Barranco, its one of my favorite parts of Lima! Super artsy and lots of different types of food too. It has a good mix of tourists and locals too
@@1WorldWideWes definitely man! If you like nice buildings, check out San Ysidro. There are nice coffee shops and restaurants around the neighborhood too. It’s like the Miraflores for Lima locals as opposed to Miraflores catering more to tourists. I stayed in Miraflores and loved it but I also enjoyed walking around San Ysidro for a day.
Cool vibes with the people. Here are a few places you may want to visit, but do be careful. 1- Morro Solar (a misshapen mountain with sick views of the ocean) 2 - Ancon, one of Lima's many beach towns 3- La Punta Callao, the bay of Lima's seaport) 4 - Real Felipe, the largest Spanish fortress in the Americas 5 - Magic Water Circuit, largest public fountains on earth 6 - Parque de las Leyendas, Lima's Zoo with Amazonian feel. 7- Walking along the Malecon Costa Verde (that's the pathway right next to the ocean)
Dopeeeee ill look these spots up. I heard about the Magic Water Circuit and I love the Malecon, but I haven't heard of the rest. Thanks for the suggestions!
In the street comedy show (19:58 minute) When you answered the comedian that you are from Estados Unidos, he answered you with a small joke: "There they will be united, but here we are screwed ." (People began to laugh) “Allá estarán unidas pero aquí estamos jodidos”. (La gente empezó a reír) In Spanish he used slang rhyme for the joke Unidos (there) jodidos (here) I wish you the best and I hope you are having a good time in Lima, Peru.
