I suppose one good thing about the dumpster fire of a game that is Veilguard is that the good old Dragon Age games(Origins especially) are getting a little resurgence in popularity XD
In a game like Neverwinter's Night , I love shapeshifting, normally play as a pure druid or druid/shapeshifter. But shapeshifter in DAO is a letdown.Level 10 can turn into wasps?! It doesn't need to a dragon, but at least give something better. And I hate I am not able to heal myself while shapeshifting.
Was the AI generated garbage necessary for a thumbnail? Were the literal thousands of artwork, renders and screenshots from this game not sufficient? You call it a masterpiece yet still you disparage it with slop.
@@Tattie-s2o The enhanced edition is on Xbox, although 50 dollars is a bit too much for it. If you could borrow it from someone, you could play it even on an old PC, laptop. Many consider it to be the best RPG ever made. Make sure you install the expansion pack (Throne of Baal) as well.
@tomigun5180 Thanks for the info. I'll definitely have a look. Maybe pick it up on a discount. I'll also go watch some videos on it. See what it's all about.
@@matthewtorley6508 I was bored out of my mind playing DAO. It was the most boring game I ever played. You know that feeling, when you have to pee badly, but you cannot, and you start to do sitting calf raises? I was doing that. Boring, unoriginal generic story, generic monsters, generic world building, generic armor/weapon design, bad magic design that's based on drinking hectoliters of magic potions, boring characters except for Morrigan, boring slow combat, boring character progression without choices, boring places visited where literally NOTHING happens. I got to the dwarf city, but did not do any quest there anymore, I just uninstalled the game because one more minute, and boredom would have killed me. Edit: BG2 is the exact opposite of all this.
This was such an amazing game. It's a shame they never made any sequels.
They have a remake called Baldur's Gate 3 out now

No idea how you don't have more subscribers - great video. Love DAO to this day, nice to come back after Veilguard.
Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it. How did you find Veilguard?
gritty, dark atmosphre and we have this disney-like abomination...
@@Cycke86 Really sad. 10 years...
Very good video. Would love to see your opinion on other CRPGs such as Baldurs Gate or Pathfinder.
wait, mouse was a demon ? but they helped hof in other playthroughs against sloth bear lol.
@bladerj Yeah, man, I was surprised, too.

Masterpiece?! Hardly. DA:O to BG2 is the same as DA: V is to DA:O.
@tomigun5180 Hi, I hope you are doing well. I've never played BG2. Is it on Xbox? Maybe I should give it a try.

??? DAO and BG2 are both masterpieces. I wouldn't argue that either is better than the other, graphics aside.
