Game Review & Impressions

Kind of a pseudo-sequel to Green Beret/Rush 'n Attack, Missing in Action is practically the same game, albeit with more modern graphics and the addition of 2-player coop.
If I'm honest, this game feels rather lacklustre when you consider Konami put out TMNT the same year.

Fun Fact:
The S.O.F. Green-Beret player is named "Steve" (スティーブ), and the U.N. Navy-Beret player is named "Ben" (ベン). In Green Beret, Steve made his debut in the arcade original, while Ben made his debut in the Famicom/NES port.
Licensed tie-in or not, if I'm playing a game called Missing in Action, I'm going to assume the lead character is Chuck Norris.
2-player Green Beret
This was basically Green Beret/ Rush 'n Attack 2 right?
That was my first thought
It is a true sequel to Green Beret (Rush “N” Attack)
This was basically Rambo 2... 😜
More like Green Beret Part II: M.I.A.
Because much like the Missing in Action Trilogy, the game involves the Viet Cong instead of the Soviet Militia.
Yes, but worse
Chuck Norris liked this video.
you rescue 5 prisoners, but only 3 get on the chopper. also, during the final stage, your job would be much easier if you gave one of the weapons to each of the prisoners to help protect and defend all of the group, but he's like, 'nah'.
One can only wonder why Konami didn't port this Green Beret sequel to the PC Engine.
Literal contra music 😂
The older games were better cause when the bits restrict you the creativity is that much more active
I like this game. Its a decent sequel. The graphics and sound are an improvement over the original and its cool that you can carry more weapons along with acquiring more ammo but that music isnt great even though its a remix of the originals music.
One of those "oh I forgot I spent coins on it" games 😄 thnx for the reminder
グリーンベレーのリメイク、みたいな?
Missing Chuck here
So Basically Rush n Attack. OK.
Aww how the feets move
You kinda wonder what these companies were thinking when the likes of Capcom were creating state of the arts graphics at this point
You played it, so we don't have to.
That looked boring. Graphics were good, but music and action was terrible. Thx for doing these. What was konami thinking?!
Basically Rambo II...
How to play this game in psp?
A whole lot of rushing and attacking going on here.
Is this based on the Chuck Norris movie?
RUSH -N- ATTACK
Another Konami game with no bosses.......Fair isn't it?
The sound quality is pretty good, but it's wasted by having the same repetitive drumbeat on all levels. At least the "boss" music is pretty decent.
Considering that NES version of Rush'n Attack had more memorable music than the arcade version, I wonder how the home ports of this would had sounded in an alternate reality where there actually were any.
Esse jogo aí é Grêem beret
