I've done the vendor tipping and yes it makes them happy but it did nothing for the area rep. Bug?

I didn't think I was gonna like this game as much as I do. Bugs and Henry's idiot face aside, it's crazy fun. Not to mention that some quests are pure gold. SPOILERS: Getting drunk with the priest, and tripping in the woods with the "witches"...I laughed like crazy. Anyway, great guides dude.

Don’t punch a guard to go to jail pickpocket them and get caught i only had to stay 16 hours instead of 10 days

This game has it's issues, yes, but the fun I have had in such a short amount of time, rivals that of games like Skyrim and even the Wither 3. Hope the devs keep working on it and slowly polish this into the gem it deserves to be!

Your videos are great. Really clear and helpful, good job. I’m currently spending my dishonestly acquired riches to appease the merchants and stop them from bitching every time I walk past their stalls. I quite like this mechanic though as it means it’s not super easy to cheese through earning Grochen with crime and the player has to think and balance risk and reward in order to make a criminal playthrough a viable option and understand that the repercussions down the line can be severe if you’re undisciplined with your crime sprees (like me). Keep up the awesome vids

I really needed this to mitigate the loss in reputation I have experienced given my penchant for strangling people till they pass out.
In Ledetchko you cannot raise your reputation with trading! Instead there's always a folk you can play dice (at the Inn) with and if you lose the game you gain reputation!
Can you give more info about ledetchko reputation please?
@@giorgosdelsizis4028 Just lose in Farkle. That is the only way. Go play and when asks to cast the dice just exit the game. This way you automaticly lose.

If people want easy money & armor, either go take all treasures or even easier, there is a camp *without any* bandits and a chest *without* a lock. Stuff there is worth 24k groshens

I highly recommend you get the stealth Kill perk in the stealth tree. You only need level 5 to get it. Then go to these camps at night. Most (not all.) will be sleeping. One or two will be guarding the camp. If you can. Sneak up behind them and stealth kill them. Then crouch and go kill the rest while they sleep. You can also take all their belonging in the trunk first. That way if they wake up they won’t have any gear. You can also go in and stealth kill just the leader then hightail if out of their. But that’s boring also by killing them all you get more ears and tons of gear to sell. Win win. Anyways. Have fun.

Pixel Push I beat up the executioner but that was all.. now -100 with villagers
I have a negative 40 in Rovna and the only thing i did there was shot a thief with a arrow that ended up killing him.

I don't know if it was different this early after release but you don't actually need a dagger to get the bandit ears.
Bernard telling you that is either a bit of embellishment for the vibe or they just didn't get around to actually implement that mechanic, like in so many places in the game.
I'm struggling with my Rattay reputation cause I would hide in the woods and kill a lone wanderer and take everything they had not knowing that this would deacrease my overall reputation 😂 it's like how did they know it was me?
Go through the main story and you’ll get your reputation up any other town I really don’t know how to get them up Tamberg go through the main storyline to get that u Rattey is the same thing to get up Merhojed just wait to get a random encounterBandits fighting guards or cumin’s fighting guardsThe highest think I should recommend you not to do in the game is killing random people knock them out or pickpocketed them

I make potions in bulk, they are great because all vendors that sell drink or food will buy them, sell them until the vendor has no more money and chuck another potion on top.
This and herbalism. Flowers = money.

Atalay Dedemen tried that in extreme diff and the only way to finish the game is sniping with bow never try combat becous at first hit you die

I'm sitting pretty at 14k gold. If you have killed runt you can go back to battle field and take all the weapons and loot chest. You can repair all the weapons and then sell them

Honestly the most broken way to make money is to hunt the white roe deer in open plains areas and cook their meat which is bugged and turns into kidneys and sells for like 24g each and from one deer you can get over 100

Mason Hoffman Sorry I don't currently own the recording equipment necessary but I'll try my best to give you directions. Roe deer can usually be found near the tree line of a forest (but not inside) where there is still tall grass like open plains. A good spot to hunt would be between Rattay and Neuhof on the edge of the forests and in the fields. They're small white deer. If you then go and cook the meat under a cooking pot they'll turn to kidneys. Hope this helped! Here is an image that might help as well

The sword seller on rattay does not speak to me because every time i get into his shop i steal all the swords
Lmao the problem is that when I stole them 2 times there are 2 guards protecting it now.
@@asahi4299 yes but you can just leave the horse on the door, steal as much as u can before they come, and then run to the horse and flee, after that when they guards stop me i jsut tell them not to mess with me and they remove the bounty because my dialogue is high.

If you are one who quickly gets bad reputation then her the infamous Perk. It makes jailtime Shorter and your reputation raises faster.

Dank Bullet I failed the speech check and I didn't feel like paying him but it's not a problem now. I'm at 50 with Rattay and sell everything to Zora from Neuhof
the wine is also in a chest right next to the archery guy, and he never looks away from the targets so just wait until the guys have gone, pick the lock and steal the wine
*MUST Get the Infamous perk* *LOSE AT DICE*
Tipping vendors DO NOT WORK that rep is only for that vendor not as a whole!
Fast way is take a amor potion for charisma boost more charm = more points!
donate to the church - lose at dice game in each city.
For Neuhof lose against milomir in Dice at the Inn in the glade not villagers!
Obviously the best way is to quest but if you don't have any left like me then just lose at dice is the best one. If not then fast travel between towns and help guards/people on the road kill bandits or Cumans bring a dagger and take the ears and turn them in to Robard or Rattay trainer. This is doable with no quest or activities left for the king charm trophy.
It takes time for reputation to build so you won't notice increase instantly the people in each town have to gossip and speak about you for your reputation to build! Just another thing the devs made to make the immersion realistic. Hope this helps! This video is not entirely accurate just want to put it out there lose at dice with 1 Goshen rinse and repeat!

Yeah, knocking the guards out and then taking their stuff is way more fun b/c they don’t find new armor to put on so I got like 10 guards in Rattay walking around with absolutely nothing on its hilarious XD
In Rattay my reputation with citizens is -100. So no one will talk to me without me having to pay them. The reason this happened to me is because since lockpicking is terrible I just knock out people and take the keys. Well even if no one sees you a guard will say you crippled someone and have you pay them and then your rep drops a lot.

Funny thing is i got mugged by guards pretty early game. tbh though I had stolen over 20k groshin and on top of that i cleaned out the blacksmith, the armorer, a barracks, both taverns, and a few homes of all the valuable goods easily topping over 60-70k groshin in net value. I am probably one of the richest guys in the city considering i stole that much (and even if i buy something i steal my money back with interest).
So yeah... getting everyone to hate you actually is not hard at all. you just need to be a full-time successful criminal. Also, note tnever caught once as this was my third playthrough and i have developed my thieving skills to an unreal level.
Lastly, very early on to boost my sneak stat I knocked out 30+ townsman and 3 guards. again never caught. Looted armor and weapons off the guards.

Are you playing with a controller or mouse and keyboard? I'm struggling with combat a lot(melee) and I was curious as you seem very fluid with it.

Once you get skilled it becomes too easy. Enjoy the challenge while you can.
SnubieZ Also, have you progresses in the main storyline enough? Sir Bernard will teach you a few invaluable tricks which really makes fighting armored opponents more manageable in the early stages.
Your armour is so clean and shiny
instead of punching a guard and go 10 days to prison, you can pickpocket, lockpick and be caught and go to prison for 17 hours.
Should do the same trick, I think.
*Edit - also the buff is shorter if you pickpocket instead of punch the guard. So if you punch the guard and go 10 days to prison you 1) have to wait 10 days + the negative buff is more severe. However if you pickpocket or lockpick, its much shorter time in jail and the negative buff is also shorter. But both ways should fix this -100 rep problem that some people have.
I just did main story quests with Bernard, no one messes with me, and I got a horse.
My reputation is high. Suddenly in neohuof quest. People are angry at me. But the reputation is fine. I did the jail thing to reset. Nothing happens. I can't buy stuff from traders and you have to pay them 50 to make them talk.
You can also raise your reputation by playing dice with people
Reverse haggling 100% been patched now, revered haggled a vendor 20 times and have budged from 75 for merhojed villagers

Rather than punch a guard, try pick pocketing someone in plain sight of a guard. You still go to jail but only for about 8 hours.
Blacksmith in rattay hates me
My rep in ushitz is -100. And I don’t even know what I did. Killed like 2 wayfarers outside the city but no one saw. That’s it
For some reason my reputation in Rattay is -100 and I have no idea what I did
My guess us either if you do quests to Miller Peshek it just drops for some reason. Or you knock out people and then it drops. It has to be one of those because my rep was 100 in Rattay then I did one quest Peshek gave me and it dropped a lot.
I think those quests are bugged, even if Noone knows you stole the items it can trigger the guards to perform searches and the bailiff will be mad with you most of the time
hmm I didn't do anything for Peshek except that one where I got the ring from the executioner, but I didn't even steal it. I just asked him for it and he gave it to me. I did do the quests for the vagabond where you pickpocket from people. I never got caught, and now I can't finish that quest cause the vagabond is in the stocks indefinitely

How can i raise reputation on the roads? There are some travellers, that are afraid of me as hell, and those armed peasants are always attaking me as well.
I can’t ever finish a fight during the tournament in Rattay because someone walks by and hates me. The tournament is instantly canceled in the middle of fight. (Not really immersive imo). All reps for Rattay are high except countryside which is 48 (citizens is at 100!) Is that why I get hate? If so, How to build up countryside rep? I think they dislike me because I killed someone who I was supposed to steal a ring from a while back.

It's far cheaper to do this with herbs and items you can mass gather off the ground or found easily in the world.
When you reverse haggle it boosts the trader's personal reputation with you, but also the global rep too!
So if you boost a alchemy trader's rep to the max and keep doing it, you will basically increase favor with other traders too since the Rattay traders are categorized into one group.

Does getting imprisoned decrease *everyone* to neutral because my Rattay citizens level is 1 and the a few vendors (armour smith and huntsman) don’t like me much (I think it’s about 15 - 20) but the Skalitz refugees are at 78.

I got a question, if I pick locks on chests and doors, to skill up lockpicking, will I get a bad rep, if I don't get caught doing so? I don't want to steal from citizens, but I want high skill for stealing from Bandits and opening treasure chests.

I do that too. I just lower the offer all the way to the bottom and after their counter-offer, I lower again a couple steps and they always accept. How do you check your individual reputation with a specific vendor anyway?
