We as INFP are the extremely deep thinkers and creative people who think outside the box, but we are also the most restrained personalities who constantly struggle with our own idea of self-worth and being very critical of our behaviors, and thinking what is ok to do and what isnt, to the point we often get stuck. It takes a long time for us to be ready to jump into a new relationship, which makes the other person think we are not interested in them, but we just need to make sure. We mostly dont like spending time in public spaces like restaurants, cafes, bars, and definitely not nightclubs, in places with lot of noises and chatter around we wont be able to really open up. Better activities for first date is going for hike in nature, biking, chilling at a lake or beach, art galleries, or simply staying at home and showing the other person the music/paintings/projects/fanfics you have made. It doesnt matter if INFP is girl or boy, we HAVE TO trust you and be comfortable in your company.. we take vulnerability very seriously and wont be vulnerable with many people.

As an INFP I'd say this is a fairly accurate description of off-the-shelf INFP romantic tendencies. But, would add, for lonely INFPs who feel overlooked in love, that you can develop your Extroverted Intuition (in particular) and mostly bypass the default settings.

I am an INFP too and some of this is true! I am very secretive when it comes to sharing my love life and personal stuff to my family and friends (even to my closeset friends). But I have no problem letting my crush know that I have feelings for him. He's the only person that knows what I feel towards him(fortunately, he's cool aboutit) Of course I am very shy when I see him face to face but I'm quite bubbly in chats despite of not having the guts to have a conversation with him in real life. @@my_Ni_Te_Fi_Se I can't talk about INTJ in general. However personally, I think no matter the structural lifestyle I like to live when it comes to love I think I am a mess. Cause I don't know what to expect out of it, every relationship has given me a different insight.
But I can tell you, like me I think every INTJ must have a list of priorities I want in a partner. It is really really important for me atleast in an initial stage of a relationship. However, as more time passes by we're ready to compromise. Also since we are big on loyalty, I think the threshold for trust is a pretty high. So I don't think trust comes easy to us. We are always skeptical.
Also feeling things is hard, I am overwhelmed so easily. So much so that I numb out, even when I go through a breakup and also when a girl pursues me too much than I want. Lol. Hope it helps.
May I ask you? Is an INTJ flirt with someone they like? There's an INTJ i know who can flirt with some girls, but he never did that to me. We just, friend. We like to talk about books, films, humanity, world system, etc (Are you and her on this phase too?). His act of services are crazy, he helped me A LOT. However, perhaps he sees right through you and knows flirting with might land him in a tight spot someday. You guys have similar interests cause you both have 'intuition' in your personalities. But our overview comes from 'Thinking' so we look far ahead, while your's come from 'feeling' so you look right ahead.

INFP here, everything from this video is creepily true!😮 Sometimes by ignoring him, I would fear that he thinks I’m arrogant. But that’s not the true, really.
INFP here: I compliment people all the time, including strangers, so number 4 isn't accurate.
Number 5 - most of the time, when someone upsets me, I ghost them, so that's true for me at least.
I used to ignore people I liked in public, but now I pretty much don't do that anymore. I only ignore people I dislike or don't care for in public.
I spend quality one-on-one time with friends as well, not just romantic interests, so number 2 isn't generally true either. I hate groups period lol.
Although jealously is not considered a primary emotion it reflects a vital and relevant emotional process BUT it's what you do with it that's either healthy or unhealthy and successful or unsuccessfully. The jealous actions stated in this video remind me of a turbulent person.. please, not only for others but for yourself, express yourself what ever way possible - take a breath, gather your thoughts, keep it simple and express them the best way you know how without reacting - I want all my fellow INFP's to succeed and I know you can ♥️
Only thing that doesn't fit me is the avoiding/ignoring, unless I'm busy I tend to hover around the person I'm interested in.
I’ll pretend I’m doing something else or talk to someone else in their proximity hoping they’ll see me and want to come over and talk. It’s rare that I would be the one to initiate though.
As an INFP-t I have this massive crush, and I can’t even go near that person. Either out of embarrassment or not wanting to show hints of having a crush. 😭
In regards to the first one: having been teased or mocked my entire life, it's definitely a desperate attempt to avoid teasing.
As for the final one and as an INFP myself, I'd like to add: don't push it. There is a limit and when an INFP reaches that limit, even with someone they love, they will be blunt about it and it's extremely unlikely they will ever even speak to you again. We have a tendency to cut people completely out of our lives when we reach our limit. While some of us will be blunt about it, others will just straight ghost you. It's sort've a 50/50.
Yeah, really wish I would have known this sooner. When he ghosted I (ENFJ) got concerned and kept reaching out telling him I cared and asking if we could reconnect. I think I may have unintentionally burned that bridge by continuing to reach out, but there's also a part of me that worries that he thinks I didn't make enough of an effort because I would reach out and then when he didn't respond I would say "OK, I'll give you space" and wait a couple of months before I reached out again

The women 35 and older (approximately) said they prefer to build relationships from friendships because they tend to be the most harmonious relationships. Statistically men tend to fall for their female friends more often and more easily. I'm not sure why this is.

So, I’m an INFP struggling with these feelings I’m having for a work colleague. I think she is amazing and extremely beautiful, not just physically but I feel like she has a beautiful soul as well. I don’t know why I feel the way I do or why I care about her so much.
But I don’t say anything because I don’t want her to feel awkward at work, plus I don’t feel that I’m good enough for her and that she can do better than me. Also it has recently dawned on me that she is always just being very nice towards me and she would never in a million years see me as nothing more than a work colleague.
I even spontaneously bought her a Christmas card and have written two different letters explaining how I feel and wanting to put inside said Christmas card. Yesterday my depression really hit and I was a miserable so and so at work. Seeing her makes me feel good but it also hurts at the same time.

haha . this is classic infp behaviour. we can fall in deep with people before naything has even happened. to avoid awkwardness maybe try asking a friend of your colleague if she or he can ask if their interested in u . ik this might sound dumb but we are not good at putting our selves on the spot to relay feelings so we might just silently resign aka friend zone yourself. another method : exchange numbers . texting is way easier to express yourself and wont be as big a burn if she lets you down.

@@heatherhafer3333 I can tell you flowery words about me but since I find you very earnest and straight forward I would like to reciprocate and tell you the weird and not that comfortable truth.... I am an infj so I feel that like most infjs my temperament is according to what is required by situation and not by what I feel in the heart at first instance of hearing or seeing things/persons. Simply put what I mean is most of my everyday behaviour are made by brain not by heart. And my brain like to uphold logic, morals, compassion and love for food!!!! I would like to think I am fairly stable human being ofcourse some time my inner demons do win and I might act badly but I feel that my controls are above average if not higher than that.

Watching this video makes INFPs out to be mysterious...pretty weird how I can get that reaction from a video meanwhile relating to it because I am in fact an INFP.
I want a video explaining why I don't hug when I would like to hug, but I refrain.
i remember in highschool reading in a magazin "10 ways to be more mysterious" and there were the dumbest tips in there. LOL
like say stuff like "Who knew. I just knew that would happen" and so forth. It was very bad lol
But yeah it was in a teen magazin so it had to be true, and I mean I tried. But again: It was stupid.
I just remember thinking "I just want to be SO mysterious".
And then we had to do these emotional things in our German Classes and we had to tell our lab partner what we thought was good about the other. (Which I can't remember what the girl said), but I didn't really wanna know what was good, I wanted to know in the negative. and so she said "You are so mysterious. I know hardly ANYTHIGN about you." AND I frikkn glowed.
Like she made my whole highschool worth while.
I did not see it as a negative. I was floating on cloud nine. it was the strangest thing.

I feel crazy. I have barely talked to him, but I still think about him everyday and think about how he might percieve me. He just has the weirdest humor, he likes cool movies and he’s nerdy but still really talkative and welcoming. I just get so scared around him. I literally start shaking when we’re on a group project together or something. I also overthink the way i walk and the way i speak to my friends when he’s in the room. But I only look at him when he’s looking another direction. I’ve liked him for like 1,5 years. Ahh. I also stalk his ex on social media sometimes and SHES THE PRETTIEST PERSON. Now he won't talk to me at all and I'm so heartbroken I'm about to start going to therapy to get past it. Our relationship being what it was and then getting ghosted afterwards was traumatic
Me, the ENFP, just reminiscing the time I was lucky to met an INFP.
I'd catch him stealing glances a lot of the times, he'd walk to my table to share his poems, we'd challenge together to do a "drawing" challenge, sometimes exchanged sketches on paper, he let me borrow his sketchbook (I wanted to keep it forever).. Whenever I am with him, I feel at home.

I'm an INFP, but 2 of these I don't fully recognise.
For example, I'm not a shy person. So any point that has to do with, will be different for me than said in this video. However, sometimes I dont talk to someone I like when I see them in public, because I want to seem mysterious and not clingy.
And when I'm jealous, I try to hide is as much as I can, so I dont give hints
