I love how the heist itself went absolutely flawlessy, but after that it all went to shit. That's why in heist movies they plan everything that happens after the heist first, such as the escape and how they're going to sell the stolen goods, then the heist itself.
The dumbest person in all of this is someone, who went to law school, walking into a police station and committing extortion right in front of them 😆

This whole thing reminded me that most "Mastermind" criminals really are just dummies that got lucky a couple of times.

Usually they just know how to organize people, tbch. Don’t need to exactly be smart to get people to work together. Just need charisma and/or cleverness.

@@alexanderstavroulakis335 to me, someone who’s smart has a lot of knowledge and knows when the things they know can be applied to get things done. Someone who’s clever sees what’s in front of them and has an instinct of knowing exactly what to do to maximize the usefulness of a particular thing.
You know... it occurs to me. They have, like, 20 people in this gang? At least? If they sell the painting for 200'000, they each get 10'000 dollars. Minus any costs they had. That's.... just not worth it!

I started watching you yesterday bc your reaction video to Cassius Clay started playing right after Mr. Terry History’s reaction. I was dusting before my brother came to visit, so I didn’t skip it. I ordinarily wouldn’t play two reactions to the same video back to back. For that reason, I saved your video to my Watch Later playlist after TH-cam had tried playing it immediately after Mr. Terry’s video 3 times within two days. I’m so glad I didn’t skip it, and I wish I’d watched your video sooner. I love your videos! And they’re on all types of subjects with some great editing. 10/10 stars

19:43 - Actually, that's quite understandable. The stated price of a piece of art is somewhat inflated - it's the highest price someone might pay for it, theoretically. (Or a recent Auction price.) Hot goods are inherently going to be sold for a lot less than usual. Like they said earlier, there's a huge risk involved with buying stolen paintings, and they're impossible to display, which is a large part of why you'd own them. But the thieves need to sell it, fast... so they drop the price by a ton. The idea that a stolen painting can get anywhere near top-tier auction prices is absurdly laughable.
Slight correction, the "price" of a painting is usually what the last person who bought it paid or what it's insured for. Something like the mona lisa is the latter.
But yeah when it's stolen it's what someone is willing to pay just to own it with the knowledge that if they tell anyone they themself will loose it and might go to jail.

judging by the level of "competence" of that group, I wouldn't be worried about who gets thrown on those jails
@Copas have you forgotten about the armed robbery and exploded cars? Uou don't need to be competent to pose a threat, but the courts need to nqt treat criminals like victims to deal with the threat they pose.
@@fillosof66689 If all they've done up to that point was small time car theft and drug deals, it's understandable that they are given lax sentences and not seen as a threat. If they had prior history of armed theft and terrorism and destruction of property, they would've been under tighter security and probably not allowed to roam free on the weekends
