I was on a call with SAI for 2 hours trying to get flexi to just send a job to PM that had multiple units with cuts and perf cuts (no print just cuts)… ended up telling me it was summas fault for not giving them their newest firmware (I’ve done this hundreds of times before and there has been no update since the last time I did it)…
Got a better question. Since the day I got our 335 print and cut the cutter is always about a 1/16 off on the cuts. Like it’s always just a tad bit lower on the cut than the print. Anyway to calibrate and fix that?
@@bluebeeprinting That's what I've been doing, but it's a pain because I have to have two files and I have to go back into Illustrator to "nudge" the artwork to compensate. I make it work, but it's time consuming.
You'll need black vinyl. You can run it from the cutter, just look at the menu. It will cut out a square and let you weed it. Then it will read it and adjust the alignment.
Also don't like flexi here. I find it to be very powerful, but too buggy ultimately. It's definitely decent for creating big cut setups for solid colour cutting projects but anything else... meh.
We absolutely loathe flexi right now. It’s just so darn buggy.
What problems are you having? Have used it since 1999 😊

I need to know what the pressure for cutting vinyl is please
That will depend on the material, your blade, machine, etc. It's best to run a few tests to find what works best.

Just offset the cut file then cut
Have you run the opos calibration on the cutter?
@@ttms I'll have to look into how to do that. Never done it before.

Do you have any information on printing whit ink base on flexi brotha?
You have to have version 21 and newer I believe. They haven't supported it very long.
This was interesting, I'm just about to get Flexi
Question- What’s the longest graphic you’ve Contour cut in 1 piece?
20ft is the longest I've done.
@@ttms I’m about to tackle a 5’x25’ graphic. Any advise?
Make sure you have a new blade .
Is Flexi Sign & Print a free software?
No. It's SaaS, bundled with a printer, or a one time payment.
It's silly money for the quality of the interface. You can find good deals on eBay sometimes...
I pay their monthly subscription and feel like if I getting taken advantage of lol 😂
@@Bottleworksnet at least it’s a step up from winplot for summa 😂
And people wonder why I am not a Flexi lover
