    Two months before this video was released she did a drum lesson video on her channel of that kick pattern. Not only plays it like a master, can teach like a Sensei. She slaps the drumsticks down, so she can use her little hands to explain how it works...LOL Self taught initially, since 1.5 y.o. Been playing live on stage since 4. Became a full fledged member of her family band at 5. A true prodigy as you basically have said. Listens to a song twice then just bangs it our flawlessly. More complex songs take 5-6 listens. Will learn the song as it was originally played. And then usually will add "The YOYOKA Effect" making it better than the original.

    Not many reactors have featured both Tina S and Yoyoka - usually one or the other. Great to see someone who knows talent and appreciates it, as they are prodigies from a young age and brilliant players. I would love to see them collaborate as Yoyoka has done with other great musicians but given Tina's absence for years now, that's not likely to happen. Anyway, more power to you and please continue...

    Yoyoka is a special talent. She is more into being like an Eddie van Halen right now. No, I do not mean that she is copying him, but more like when van Halen was putting his band together in the early 70s. Playing with different people, different talent levels and skillsets. She just keeps getting better and better.

    Welcome to the world of Yoyoka. She is that good. There are so many covers, improvs and originals to "cover". Where would I lead someone? Maybe the Deep Purple "Burn" cover: th-cam.com/video/uhzX9QbH3js/w-d-xo.html Followed by Ian Paice's review of his song: th-cam.com/video/0RyJKiollcA/w-d-xo.html And maybe her recent self-cover of her original song, "Sparkling": th-cam.com/video/5JxJi8ohvwI/w-d-xo.html

    BTW, Yoyoka is self taught since about 1.5 years old. She began playing live gigs at age 4, and now, at age 12, she could be the drummer for any rock band, both present and past, with not only equal skills to the original drummer, but an improvement in most cases.

      @@SG-dg6oi If you are referring to her Yoyoka Takes Drum Lessons In English videos with Emilio, those lessons were focused mostly about English, not drumming, and she was already a very established drummer at that point. To my knowledge, neither of her parents play drums. There are many drummers who have put in more practice and taken drum lessons who are not even in her league.

She has a lot of experience playing with others - she shocked Ellen when she told her she had already played in a bar about 150 times (she was 9 yrs old at the time) LOL Ellen then told her she would be playing at the Whiskey A Go Go bar. Haha, nice! Now THERE'S a reasonable assumption: "She's been taking lessons since she was two" - that would be..ahh..correct, technically.. Now have a guess, who was teaching her..?
    ..That would be..none other than..YOYOKA..!!
    Yep, as if it wasn't too much already, she was indeed self-taught - and largely still is. Savant level, music all the way down - there's even a saying: "Yoyoka IS music".
    She has an army of supporters BTW, they'll probably be over shortly..

    That really was great, thanks, though I'm not sure why you just do covers of Zeppelin but don't react to the actual band. 2007 concert at the O2 arena was great, but how about what they produced as a band when they were still together? Nobody like them, that's for sure.

    • @Shakes-P
      @Shakes-P  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats actually not true, I actually posted yesterday Kashmir from the O2, but they are also very heavily copyrighted and kost get blocked!

    • @jmar7631
      @jmar7631 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Shakes-P Yes, it was a great reunion concert but it was 27+ years after the band broke up due to Bonham's (drummer) death. I'm just suggesting that you react to what Zeppelin produced during the years they were together (1968-1980) - during their prime. Reactions to studio versions rarely get blocked and although I love to watch them perform live, doing only live versions doesn't give one the opportunity to hear Page's genius as a producer since much of what he did in the studio couldn't be easily replicated live. Something else about their studio cuts is there was no auto tune or computer-generated anything back then. What we heard is exactly what they sounded like, and it was incredible. Edit: As a testament to just how great they were, 20 million requests for tickets for the reunion concert in 2007 were made. Broke the world record. 20 million people wanted to see them perform almost 30 years after they disbanded. That's saying something. Edit 2: Not all videos of their live performances get blocked. I just watched a series of reactions to their 1970 Royal Albert Hall concert and none of those got blocked.
