Hey Ed, I think the 2N, 9N and 8N all had front mount distributors. 1950 was the last year for the front mount after that they were side mount. Yes it is a pain in the butt I replaced the points and condenser last year and it wasn't fun. Now with electronic ignition don't have to deal with that anymore. Thanks for watching.
