    Thanks for help - my Jack H2 arrived yesterday from Tysew. Oddly without any plastic protection in the pouring rain! Anyway your threading the machine video is the best I’ve seen. I will thread up today and test my machine. I also have the Janome 550e like you ! Love it

      Good morning and thank you so much for watching and your lovely comment. Congratulations on your new purchase, the Jack H2 is a wonderful machine. I hope the rain has not caused any damage. If I’m doubt call them up and ask for it to be exchanged because they really should have made sure it was covered. The Janome 550E is also an amazing machine. Happy crafting and have an amazing day 🫶🏽💕

    thank you for this video. Have you sewn any leather with this yet? I am thinking of getting one but just want to know just how good it is at sewing thick fabrics/leathers.
    Thanks once again.

      Hi Donny, I haven’t sewn leather yet but I know others on a facebook group I follow have done. I have sewn several layers of faux and it goes through it like butter. It really is a wonderful machine - I love that I can also raise the needle with the foot peddle instead of having to use the hand wheel. Let me know if I could help further and thank you for watching. 🙏🏾🫶🏽

    Hi, thanks for your video.
    My Jack H2 has just been put into operation and I am new to the world of industrial machinery.
    Can I ask you if you’ve tried changing your foot and if you’ve found a match?
    I’d be interested in a tighter foot, like the one usually used for zippers.
    Thanks again from Italy

      Hi Francesca, yes I’ve changed my foot. I have used both zipper foot and piping foot. Here’s a video of me changing my regular foot to a zipper foot (7:40)

      @@elizartdesignstudio Thanks, the video was very helpful. I just ordered the zipper foot and also the thinnest needles. Unfortunately I have not yet had the opportunity to use the sewing machine, but as soon as the needles arrive I will immediately put it to work.
      Thanks again and I will continue to follow you!

    I have a set of very short screwdrivers that I bought years ago. I use them to loosen the screws, and then I use my fingertips to unscrew and take them out. I have a Kingmax G0302 direct drive that looks identical to your Jack H2, except yours is much prettier😂. I’m brand new to an industrial so I’m watching everything I can. I only got a terrible Xerox copy of instructions. Did you get a real manual with your H2? Anyway, my bobbin winder is slow as molasses. I have no clue as to why, but Im contacting the store I bought it from to see if it can be adjusted. Otherwise I’m going to purchase an external winder. It’s WAY too slow!

    • @elizartdesignstudio
      @elizartdesignstudio  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, I need to get some short screw drivers, I saw some on Temu which really looked cute 😊. My jack didn’t come with a manual at all. I had to go online to search for it. I printed it and it was all so confusing to me, very wordy, I’m more of a visual person.
      I was told at the dealers that I should run my Bobbin winder fast to help lubricate the mechanism because I sew very very very slow 😂. So, there must be a way to speed up your Bobbin winder. Check out Siah Swag on TH-cam , she has a Kingmax ( I’m not sure which model ).
      Thank you so much for watching and have an amazing week. 🫶🏽💕

    Hi Eliza,
    I do soft furniture and I'm currently looking for industrial, walking foot machine. I use to sew on old Seiko, Singer industrial machines at work.
    I'm setting up my own studio now and I'm not sure which machine to buy. How is the Jack h2? Is it good?? Are you happy with this machine? I'm about to buy it but decided to ask someone who's got it. 😁

    • @elizartdesignstudio
      @elizartdesignstudio  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Agata, the Jack H2 is a wonderful machine in my opinion. I use mine for bag making and it’s able to sew through several layers of vinyl with no problem. The only time I’ve came across issues was when I’m was sewing a lighter weight of fabric - like a cotton which I hadn’t interfaced - it seems to chew up the fabric but that’s possibly user error. Maybe my needle is too big for that type of fabric or maybe tension issue but I’m too scared to adjust the tension at the moment as I’m new to industrial machines 😂. Apart from that which is me and not the machine; it’s a great machine. I went to a local dealer to see it and test it first because I had no clue. Also a group I follow on Facebook recommended it.
      I am very happy with it and I think it’s a great machine. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching 🫶🏽💕

    Hi Elizabeth- did you have to alter your foot pressure at all. It’s marking my oilskin fabric. If you altered it.. how please 🙏

    • @elizartdesignstudio
      @elizartdesignstudio  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi there, I haven’t altered the pressure on my presser foot - so far I haven’t had problems with marking on my fabrics. However, there is a really good video about this and if I should need to reduce the pressure I will definitely be using the video below as a guide.

      Hi there, thank you so much for watching. The pink thread is from Tysew which is where I got the machine from. I also recently got some Somabond thread from Konsew and it was lovely to sew with. I hope this helps. The Jack H2 is a great machine. Don’t be scared, You will love it. I’m new to industrial machines but if you would like to know anything else let me know and I’ll try and help. Congratulations on your new machine!! 🫶🏽

    What a fab machine. Lovely to have something strong enough to do your bags without worry. Have you ever oiled your Janome ? I did mine today, but chickened out of the underneath bits. Think I’ll take it to the machine shop. They say to oil once a month !

    • @elizartdesignstudio
      @elizartdesignstudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Diana. Yes, it nice to know that the machine can cope with a variety of fabrics so I can experiment more.
      I’ve oiled my Janome once and I’ve had it for just over a year now which is really bad. I didn’t realise it had to be oiled once a month 😢. I’m going to oil it again and maybe film the whole process.

    • @DianaBee620
      @DianaBee620 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@elizartdesignstudio
      It looks complicated to do the underneath….I would love that ❤️. I think it’s the once a month thing if you use it a lot. Have a look in the instruction book, I just read that today and was really surprised too.

    • @elizartdesignstudio
      @elizartdesignstudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      @DianaBee620 I will defo oil mine, I feel terrible for neglecting my machine and not oiling her more regularly. When I oiled her the last time I don’t even think I did underneath. I remember taking the cover off the top which was awkward.

      @DianaBee620 yes it’s a pain to get it all lined up and deal with fiddly screws.
