Thank you for a balanced presentation. Too many channels show us something that moves like a constipated, arthritic ninety year old man, and describe it as some sort of super-athlete! Developers seem determined to create 'Metal Humans'. Accept that the human form has numerous flaws, and design something that is stable, fast, accurate, minimises power use, yet works in an environment made for humans... For instance: ** Three of four "Whegs" (Legs that incorporate small powered wheels) This provides a smooth-moving, fast, stable base, able to function without complex balance provisions, yet it can still handle steps etc. (When you park your car, it uses NO energy to stay upright... How much energy does a bipedal robot (or human) use just to stand still?... and it is easily upset.) ** Three fingered hands. Two fingers used when pinching, three fingers used to grip larger items. ** Additional cameras incorporated into, or near, the hands for close-up vision when performing precise tasks. There are many other things worth considering... DON'T JUST MIMIC HUMANS, IMPROVE ON THEM! EDIT: ABB's YuMi Cobot would be a brilliant start. It is a perfect slot-in solution for the region from neck-to-navel! It's not new, but it has been the benchmark, with the competition only now starting to catch up.
how long until 100% safe level 5 autonomous driving! and what level of autonomous driving are we at now? Has Tesla reached an advanced level 3? or are these shades of a level 4? (I mean the beginning)
Whats the use of this robot when in another room a human has to pull the strings ? Its better for the human to directly work instead of the robot and earn income.
But will they implement UBI before 2030!? Many pioneers including billionaires, scientists, Nobel Prize winners, engineers, architects, analysts and so on and so forth... almost all agree that we will have AGI in 2027 and ASI in 2029 and looking at and evaluating the exponential technological acceleration curve I wonder why they have not yet implemented universal basic income to anticipate the trends that will come. Just to name one, Elon Musk says that we will have AGI already in 2025 and ASI 2029.
I have a different view: Acronyms without an initial description suck! I managed to cure my AGI with careful medication, but I am still struggling to control my rampant ASI! As for UBI?... I have no need for a Universal Bullsh*t Indicator. 🤔
Robots won't be buying bmw's either! 🤔 people buy bmw's with money that they make! If nobodies making money... then companies products won't sell. Going out of business asap!
I was beginning to wonder if I had missed something? If I have, then you missed it too! The alternative solutions I have seen appear to head towards the undoing of capitalism and democracy.
This technology will relentlessly move forward. Men won't ask "Should we make it more like a man?"; only "Can we?"; for profit, curiosity, evil, good, etc. When machines take over everything, and people are no longer defined or rewarded by what they do, how does society adapt to them? They'll need to be provided for somehow. Scary as it sounds, I believe technology will create a communist-socialist-capitalist-hybrid society. They'll be a basic care package - credits, medical, food, etc., for masses of people at the bottom, under some reworked financial system, few in the middle, and a very few ultra-rich, shark-tank capitalists at the top, their machines controlling everything,
Takes no breaks, has no office drama, doesn't need to be paid, has no emotional baggage, doesn't complain, no ego = great HR review!
Until they replace HR recruiters too@Stiffybeaver😂
And hr lose their job too lol
@@cirquemedia Makes for a boring workmate at Smoko!

Humans in factory might soon be something of the past
here's the next question; why are they (robots) still assembling, instead of 3-d printing?
Because 3D printed material is much weaker.
@@MrNote-lz7lh : Keep up... Meltio is one example worth a look at.
3d printing is far too slow and expensive for large-scale manufacturing. Sadly large stamping presses are here for some time yet.
Here we go....
Skynet I see you coming...
I hope these companies deploying humanoid robots, realize they aren't humans and won't be buying the things they are building
As mechanical machine designer i look forward to not put a lot safery features to machines😂 this is future and i love it
Its just its first day on the job.
You promised to bring more videos on UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME
iRobot... here goes the take over
There are just a few months left until the release of CHATGPT 5 and the FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION will take place!!!!!
