- It has been years since we have witnessed Rock Bouncers go Full Throttle on the most iconic rock bouncing hill climb of all time. Well on this Rock Rods Episode thanks to the Apollo Group and ARBO we were able to capture a handful of rock racing drivers hitting this epic rock bouncer hill climb in 2020! Cable hill is located at Gray Rock ORV park in Alabama only a short drive from the Busted Knuckle Off Road Shop. This hill when dry is completely doable by most well built rock buggies. When we really want to see a show they put a hose at the top of the hill and lets water soak in and slick up this rock hill climb to challenge even the best drivers in the sport. We never expected Bobby Tanner to grenade his engine in Screamin Blue like this! 11:39 With a trained eye you can tell some of these guys have "the feel". Sometimes flooring it and searching left and right for grip won't work! This guy nailed it.

Brilliant the first time i came across Rock Bouncers was at Cable Hill, it was the most epic and craziest thing i’d seen and I loved it 👌 but then stopped going there (((( Great to see this monster hill again though , thanks guys great work 👌👌👌

I can't help but wonder if lowering the tire air pressure would help with traction!!!!
This hill requires momentum. If you run too low or pressure you will bend a wheel when you slam into these ledges at speed. Most run 10-12 psi

That's Bobby Tanner. He is often the first one there to try and help the driver.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I see that later, but in this instance he slid down quick and did nothing, didn't "help the driver" or try and put the fire out.
looks like he was accessing the situation to me. The driver was getting out no problem and the fire wasn't getting worse. It's easy to judge someone in a panic situation not knowing what you would do.

I still wonder what kind of track time some of these buggies would have on like a mega truck course 30-40 second range depending on the track
They have the power and suspension to smoke a mega truck on a track if it isn't too muddy
