Me too! Not going to go anywhere and something I e been drawn to since I hit 30 only buying pieces I know I’ll wear for years to come and trying not to get too dragged into trends xx
This old money gives me reiss vibes. But being short and curvy nothing looks right. I also think this is about everything fitting perfectly in a decent material with no big brand labels
Oh I do love Reiss, their pieces are so well made and never go out of style. I kind of veer towards more loose and relaxed styles to fitted but I think it’s what you feel comfortable in and like you say good composition. I’ll try keep my eye out for any good petite brands, just I usually spot longer lengths as I am the opposite xx
@@charlottebuttrick totally agree. Oh no that’s absolutely fine haha I just find a lot of them don’t cater for myself so end up having to either avoid or tailor stuff so they fit lol (mainly lose half a leg hahaha)
Thank you for this gorgeous and chic outfits.I love the old money style,i have loved it for many years. And now its in style.I must laugh.😂 "Quit luxury" is the real luxury!! Always!👍😍Not big brand labels.
Totally agree! I love it’s in the spotlight atm as I think it is a timeless and sustainable way to dress and shop for your wardrobe, especially when you are entering your 30s and beyond! X
When l was young it was called dressy “preppy” but people who are fake can never pull it off. It’s not a trend but more of a way of being cool, confident and comfortable.
I would add, nude pumps (as Kate wears often) - they elongate the legs and typically work well with any color clothing. Also, due to different skin "undertones", there are women that really should only wear silver rather than gold pieces of jewelry (which fits the warm under-toned women best). If you have 'neutral' skin undertone then you can wear both silver and gold jewelry.
plus your video is not like other "old money about" videos. it doesnt include all those "tik tok trends" that are made of some aesthetic pictures without knowing the history of THIS STYLE. it seems that you were into these types of clothing for a long time and you know what youre talking about . bravo!
This is such a thoughtful comment - thank you! Seems to have been a way of dressing I have naturally gravitated towards over the past couple of years. Anything that’s classic but less formal and fitted is what I’m always drawn too! Ty for watching xx
I don't think because someone has tattoos it means they can't wear what they choose to. I love minimal style which just happens to be coined 'quiet luxury' at the moment. I'm not proclaiming to be 'old money' I am simply sharing how those who want to get the look can do with items in their wardrobe. And everything should be linked in the description box. It's Reona but pretty much identical to the Frankie shop Bea blazer: I've done devious videos on styling oversized blazers featuring it with more info on the size and cut.
I hope this comes out right, okay, I think the entire time your look just embodies it. Maybe it's the vibe, style, etc, to me the whole sense of your look is just subtle luxury 😊🩷
Yes true, but I'm clearly not old money. I'm just hopefully sharing some helpful tips for how others can recreate the old money look if they would like ☺️
I’m loving this quiet luxury trend. I think it’s timeless and classic. It’s my kind of style

Nice pieces but tatoos are not quiet luxury or old money. Love the color of your brown blazer, where is it from?

Oh thank you, I love that so much. I’m happy classic style is getting the spotlight atm as it’s so timeless and less of a trend more a way to dress x
Flip flops and slouchy shapeless bags are a no. Both the gold and white gold are good for jewelry choices but I would also add pearls.
Hello Scarlett!!!
Where do I buy these clothes?????
I LIVE IN AUSTRALIA!!!
I think you’re in the USA RIGHT????
Love you ❤ thanks
