- Precious Scars is cooking guys. Finally a mode where it can shine and players can see what it's all about. Into The Light Onslaught is a very fun addition to the game and completing the 50 waves of legend is difficult. This Titan build with precious scars has a lot of freedom, but it has core things you must follow. It's an engine that runs the entire kit with ease

What builds are you liking with onslaught?
Cenotaph Lock on Solar of Stasis, with a headstone hand cannon and divinity.
Precious Scars Titan on Solar or stasis with a permeability weapon for three of the same flavor.
Void Tether hunter with big tether.
Solar blade barrage with exotic grasps for free super energy.
I tried to tell FallOut a couple of days ago about the precious scars - heal clip build but he didn’t believe me lol
havent tried it in legend yet, but a full send void explosions build on bubble titan with graviton lance feels nice. finally a spot to use my favorite build and it be useful.
Basically the same build but Dawn Chorus, adhortative heal/incan, using well then snap to blow up everything then switch between lament and dragons breath, tried the new strand slug and FR but stuck with chill riptide

This build goes hard with Tommy's Matchbook btw. The restoration negates the burn so you can just enjoy that thicc damage increase and melt through high health targets.
And the guaranteed Ignitions that don’t need kills or crits!
For sure. Hate it on Legend 'cause it'll get you *murdered* past wave 30 or 40, but for the regular it goes hard all the way to 50.

I've got a suggestion for your kinetic slot weapon: Tusk of the Boar. You can run the artifact mod Unravelling Orbs, which gives strand weapons unravelling when you pick up an orb (and there are a ton of orbs with this build). Then you run Torch - while radiant you do increased weapon damage to combatants affected by Strand and Stasis. So, you consecrate some fools, grab an orb, shoot your Tusk to unravel, then hit em with your Abyss Defiant. You could also run a different Strand weapon - the Navigator comes to mind - but I like wave frames in this game mode. Anyway, great stuff as usual!
For legend mode I was using tusk of the boar and recluse on stasis and boi it slaps

Been using precious scars in similar builds for a while and can confirm calus mini tool with unrelenting + incandescent is also phenomenal for personal survivability

I bet Tarrabah is eating so good in this mode right now. Pair that with precious scars, and you’re a monster.
Could just run an auto with onslaught and get the same effect and have it be useful against champs ...and u can use an exotic heavy ...
@@kenzilbaptiste2519 tarrabah has special weapon dps on demand almost all the time. And we have such good legendary heavy weapons. Idk, both strats are viable, which is why I love this mode.
Edit: If you use solar, tarrabah with radiant is one of the MOST lethal anti champ exotics.
I tried it last night, I think that you will lose your charge when you pick up the battery to throw.
Tarrabah is a fantastic idea, can’t believe I hadn’t thought of that before.

I love that you’re using final warning. People always tell me I’m throwing when I use that gun but it’s so underrated.
It's glued to my Swarmers load out. I say if I'm in smg range then I'm also in Final Warning range.
I guarantee its going to go up in usage with the quicksilver nerf

Took similar solar build into legend variant of onslaught, and man this thing performs. Like barely any deaths with randoms(I think 3, most of them stupid af), it just flat out carried the entire team. Thanks for letting us know !
Hardly comment but have been watching for years and this build was so good after soloing 20 levels after teammates left after first 10, this is the best build in the game for this

I’ve been running 2 Precious Scars builds on Solar and Void (Graviton Lance). Your advice is just the changes I needed for Solar. I keep a Pyrogale on deck also, good call there too. I’m going to try the Strand build now. Wow, just, wow!
I hunted the exotic down in the lost sector and completed the mission. This build absolutely slaps, cannot speak anymore highly of it. Thank you for the suggestion!

Man, I love using Oversoul edict (enlightened action & volt shot)with the warlock arc slide melee and the fragment that gives you increase reload speed when you melee something. Cursed thrall such an underrated origin trait
Thanks CoolGuy, with LFG so much easier I have done higher end PvE and have a similar solar build. I have not dropped a heal clip incandescent Abyss but do have a summoner and helio that I use. I have not tried the strand, and have always wanted to play around with final warning. I am definitely going to try this build. looks real fun.
Things to consider, on solar, Phoenix Cradle is arguably better dependent on how your team plays. On either build, the Indebted Kindness with Permeability is so nice.

If you are a titan, I have a tip for you to use. You can use anarchy + your barricade in front of it to blind enemies, causing them to slow down and get tick damage from anarchy. This is amazing in midtown and some parts of vostok. Lots of chokepoints for this strat to be useful, especially to weed out the trash mobs while you focus on the beefier ones.
I have been using a well warlock with Phoenix Protocol for Onslaught. Then I tried your Scars Titan build. Very aggressive and fun. More fun than the supportive Warlock build. Copied your build except using a Chill Clip Riptide instead of a concussion grenade launcher, and a Heal Clip and incandescent Summoner. When the other two matchmade players saw me run towards a huge group they just got out of the way, very interesting and funny. Kind of surprised how many supers (and how long they lasted) and that melee slam I got. Thanks for the build vid, good fun.
i've been looking for an excuse to use precious scars but i completely forgot about it when looking for onslaught builds, this is very nice 😏
It's been my go to for Trials for years (I'm not the best, so it keeps me alive and helps my team when I go down). But this season I started using it for PvE content, even when solo, and I love it.

Been using precious scars all season. It’s actually really good on stasis as it helps with the lack of healing behemoth has. Run it with any of the exotic stasis weapons and you’re good.
But lately I’ve been using a judgment with headstone/adrenaline junkie and that honestly feels like an exotic on its own. Especially if you run a stasis weapon surge, you’ll have constant 5 stacks of AJ plus the weapon surge and just tear through ads.
Summoner with heal clip / onslaught is the play. Rapidly defeating targets and reloading healing you and your team. Artifact mods supply plenty of radiant, scorch, and ignitions. Works on any subclass.
I've been using Orpheus Hunter with Buried Bloodline and that void fragment that generates orbs when killing weaked enemies.

The only down side is precious scars is that is butt ugly, but the restoration is worth it.
One of the best solar legendaries for this build is the battler with pugilist+ incandescent. any enemies scorched by Incandescent double dip energy gains with pugilist and ember of searing. Basically limitless consecrations. And it’s craftable

Can also use zaoulis bane if you like handcannons like me
@@IlPinguonauta if you like that roll try using blunt execution rounds instead of incandescent, it basically gives you a free fusion shot after a melee. the burst hits for 500% damage, it rips.
A few things have kept me from trying this build out so far: 1) I haven't been able to get a Precious Scars with good stat distribution (not a huge deal and I haven't tried too much); 2) I've been doing alright with Strand + Synthos; 3) man I wish I had a (crafted) Abyss Defiant; and, most importantly, 4) I hate how Precious Scars looks. I hope to be trying it out some more though - I really do love Consecration
I've been SO impressed with Precious Scars!
Whilst I haven't been going all in with some of the Fragments, I started using it with a Healclip Igneous in Trials & wow haha. I gotta get the Deepsight Frames for Abyss Defiant but I'm also gunna try getting a Healclip x Incandescent Summoner to pair with this! I really want a Healclip x Incandescent Igneous too, I really love me 120's & Igneous is head & shoulders above the rest! Not really the move for Onslaught but everything else I want that in my kit!!

Easily one of my favorite exotics, so good! I’ve been using Calus Mini Tool with incandescent and unrelenting with this and it’s amazing
Been using this since the last season. The shiesty helmet is legit especially with the buff and the right guns. Allowed me to streak in PvP too.
Plus the issue is not finding the right build which is easy to figure out. The problem is finding the right players who understand the importance of working together and do the objectives stop trying to kill everything on your own😂. That's one of the things I love about destiny 1 players wanted to play together they wanted to make friends. Whereas destiny 2 its the complete opposite you have to tell people to play together as a group which should be obvious because it's co op😂. That's like telling someone stock the shelves when you work in retail in a grocery department😂
I highly recommend tarrabah with solar bc of the obvious huge dps for basically free but if you have teammates that have damage buffs (tether, well, etc) you charge ravenous much faster and radiant adds enemy penetration so it can blow through multiple enemies charging even faster making ravenous beast have almost 100% uptime on waves with bigger enemies. Only thing i can really say to watch out for is getting too agressive bc putting on tarrabah is -100 to your iq but as long as you have teammates that take out champs and throw batteries for you you’ll get top kills every time
I’ve been running this build on Solar since the Precious Scars buff. RNG hasn’t blessed me with a Heal Clip + Incandescent Summoner yet but Heal Clip + Onslaught has done me just fine.
Bungie please give Precious Scars another ornament I beg you.

I used precious scars with indebted kindness and an arc subclass. The IK was healing us and blinding opponents due to an aspect

So for ages and ages i have been using precious scars and tommys match book. Super fun combo for high damage and constant ignitions, and scars negates a lot of the self damage tommys does. Super fun, have easily done 50 in normal onslaught and done full coils with it.
.... however, i have recently gotten abyss defiant craftable, and i love that gun(and word of crota) so much, heal clip incandescent is a blast. And i have been so tempted to swap out my tommys for abyss, then my blinding GL for witherhoard and use my bait and switch rocket. I do trade in my tommys damage and ignitions for more survivalbility but i dont think I'll lose too much damage... man i love precious scars and tommys but abyss... such a fantastic gun
Solar has been working good but I have been testing a möbius build for hunter. Only 60 intellect but enough ways to get super back insanely fast so having tether on a lot of waves will help a lot plus viotile. Invis is a life saver on the bigger enemy aka tormentors. A tether build or stasis build on a team really helps a lot

This reminds me of the Consecration build Aztecross showed off a few weeks ago, not trying to discredit just glad it has more flexibility with the exotic armor. I plan on trying it with Path of the Burning Steps later.

Just ran it, the build absolutely cooks.
Was using Final Warning and a Voltshot GL in legend on my Banner Titan. Having Jolt and Unravel going simultaneously is so good for ad clear
For strand, throw on Buried Bloodline for complete overkill
after grinding trials for 10+ hours I finally got a heal clip + incandescent role. also it's much higher rpm than the crota auto which is nice
Precious scars + banner of war + quicksilver was my main build all season, you feel unkillable
Final warning, or even a strand legendary might be honestly better though with the quicksilver nerf
definitely not, quicksilver is still GOATed, unless you want to use a exotic power weapon in which case it depends
Quicksilver is still insane. It was just ridiculously OP before. It went from being probably the best primary in the game to now just being really good.

Yay someone FINALLY talking about Strand Precious Scars!!!! Personally I would change out Lash with Into the Fray, so you give your WHOLE team Woven Mail, but you don't have to if you just want to suspend

Been using this with solar since they updated it with the rocket buffs from artifact you get a free damage buff.
Seeing as you enhanced Heal Clip I can only assume that they fixed the bug. That's awesome cuz I have been wanting to enhance that perk so bad. I love this perk combo on Abyss but my OCD flares up every time I see Incandescent enhanced but not Heal Clip. lol

This build is fantastic: I just tried Fireteam finder and got a really good team, we were cooking, on our way to lvl 40 boss...and the stupid darkness polygons soft-locked us 😭
EDIT: I love this build so much. I never thought I'd be using anything other than strand titan when onlsaught was announced, but all it took was one time of meleeing into a wave of cursed thrall, and I had to find something else. This build has been my go-to ever since 🥰
Final Warning is slept on. Very solid choice

I feel like stasis Warlock would be dominating in onslaught. Freezing adds and shattered them and such. But this makes me happier since im a titan main anyways
You lowkey don’t need the healing grenade or Empyrean with this build. I usually throw on an incendiary grenade and ember of Char or ashes instead of Empyrean. Also also this build is super fun with Tommy’s matchbook, but I would recommend a reload mod.
I’ve been running this exact set up for awhile now with the Adhortative pulse rifle and it can put in some work. I had never given the Nanomunitions trait a chance before but was really surprised how much ammo it gives per mag off the reloads. I can sit there and just laser crits and reproc Radiant without having the reload.
I've actually been running something similar with Phoenix Cradle to spread the Sol Invictus love.

No, precious scars gives restoration. Heath regeneration. Heal clip gives a big chunk of heath on top

I don't get people not running armor piercing rounds in PvE, unless you use it in PvP and don't want to craft a second one.
Wouldn’t pugilist have more value on abyss defiant on solar titan? The ability to spam confederation feels so good, especially on midtown.

I used a very similar build for my first master clear of Warlords ruin. The entire time I was thinking to myself why is no one talking about this?

I have been using this since the first day with strand it's a HUGE! Now I'm seeing more people talking about, and like huh...must be a good build. Lol 😅Now I'm trying to see how I can make it better! I am currently using Rufus fury (strand auto), fourth horseman (exotic shotgun for tankier targets), and edge transit for high impact and distance.
Hilariously, I managed to fail a regular onslaught at 28 waves. as a support build with competent teammates I can see this being excellent, but having to hard carry randoms it doesnt work as well as I had hoped.
All my 50 wave runs on normal have been pretty easy with Orpheus Rig hunter, using a random HC for stuns (never use it otherwise), enlightend/volt shot Indebted Kindness and Thunderlord. Covers all champs, Tether is super spamable, devour keeps you alive and the sidearm+thunderlord are great add clear with functionally full uptime and are decent for bosses in normal. might be the +25% MG damage pulling a lot of weight though
Strand Titan wearing precious scars: Banner of war/into the fray- strand primary (I like Rufus), buried bloodline= constant health and woven mail from strand, solar restoration from scars, devour from buried bloodline. 🫢
People sleeping on jotun for onslaught also severance enclosure, I even ran a saint 14 build with the exotic bubble glaive for adu protection when I had 2 over aggressive boys on meta builds that forgot to watch the adu 😂
Heliocentric works well with this build, even against the big fellas.
Did Bungie fix the enhanced restoration bug? (Heal clip only applying to you, not teammates)
