- Precious Scars has always been one of my favorites. I have a build for you to try with the weekend loadout series. Goal of the series is to have fun using something you don't usually use while also not being a determent to your team. I have done dungeons, solo lost sectors, and this build performs. The most interesting part is the upcoming changes.

Have a great weekend
Hey! For the next hunter weekend build, consider the Unseen Beyblade Master.
Wirling maelstrom + Grapple + assassins cowl = big fun (cyterac. Facade for gm teir stuff)
You get a melee kill to make a tangle and go invis, use invis to perfectly place your bayblade in the middle of a group, then grapple to the wirling maelstrom and grapple melee/trench barrel everything near by.
The damage from the tangle gives you back your melee and damage gives you your grapple so youve always got a way to go invis.
This has been my favorite pve strand set up since the beyblade came out, its bonkers how fun it is.
Is the restoration bug still in play? Or are we waiting for the 5th for that? In my opinion that's holding it back from being S-tier in PvE
1st - thanks for the great vid, thanks for the DIM!!! Got any spare golf balls? I have so many builds waiting on 3 golf balls it's crazy. See what you mean about the nay-sayers, the NO sayers. Ignore them bud, or just give them the, 'hey, how about you go and start your own channel?' That should take them down a notch. Or, 'hey, there are plenty of other content creators that would love to have you, bye bye.' Probably nothing but a bunch of sub-teens feeling invincible anyway. Have a great weekend CG, you're doing great family friendly stuff by the way. Too many others need schtick to go with their schlock. ;)
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been enjoying Precious Scars on stasis more than solar. I know that makes no sense, but finally having healing on Behemoth while using Verglas Curve is incredible.
This is actually a great idea. I’ve only played with Scars on solar subclass
@@dexxx25 S tier on stasis, and really good on arc with trinity ghoul or risk runner
i can see the precious scars behemoth combo take off once bungie adds the stasis armor buff in final shape
Something I like about these videos is you take everything into account, which includes the Artifact. But you also future-proof the builds by saying stuff like, "This'll still be good even without the Artifact."
This is why I love Destiny. The buildcrafting and discussions about it are always super chill and enlightening. No toxic discourse to be seen, at least from the talks I've had.
Same there's not enough Creators that take into account the artifacts no longer being interviews and build around it so that wants the season's over a lot of builds no longer work nearly as well. Call me weird but the only part of the artifacts that I use is the Champion perks just because I don't want to have my build change once the season is over
Also consider, this can be run with any subclass. I personally have used it with Banner of War and a Slice weapon. Having Restoration x1, Banner of War x4, Woven Mail, and a Slice debuffed enemy and it feels like you're using Strongholds, but it applies to everyone!
I’m gonna try this today. Thanks
Totally! Even if solar isn't the current artifact flavor, you can just use a different subclass/energy weapon that matches to still use Precious Scars and adjust accordingly. Even if not playing off the artifact, still very effective.
Now all it needs is a better ornament
If you don’t like Scars at it’s worst you don’t deserve it at it’s best
@@sentineltitan2348I like how it looks by default, there’s just not much armor that matches.
@@sentineltitan2348nobody liked Scars at its worst. It was a trash exotic as well as an ugly one before the rework.
@spyderhuntz I liked it at its worse >:]
I do not remove Verity's Brow. you can make anything work with enough effort
You NEED to try incandescent with heal clip on Helio with this build. Because of the damage profile of sidearms and how quickly you can dump a mag and then reload, you burn through enemies and get constant healing from it.
I really like that despite giving restoration, it's still technically subclass agnostic. It's fun to run with Stasis or Arc for survivability, or even with Strand which doesn't even need the help just to become more unkillable.
When you showed me how healclip worked with Benevolence I was already sold. Now it’s going to be even better.
No kidding, talk about synergy I was never even expecting!
how did you not expect that lol @@dillonwilliams4416
It's incredibly weird that not one thing was mentioned about precious scars working on all subclasses. It works on any sub with any matching weapon energy.
The pairings in pve and pvp are endless. Getting restoration in a bubble with a void weapon is wild. Really strange that cool guy would skip over this part of the exotic.
I did a duo GM gild with a buddy, and I ran solar titan with Precious Scars, Tyranny of Heaven and Dragon's Breath for all of them. It was very strong and a lot of fun. I also used Precious Scars on Banner of War strand titan with Quicksilver Storm on my Warlord's Ruin solo flawless for Hefnd, that setup is nearly invincible. Great exotic.
TDT did a build with this and Tarrabah and I'm hooked to it. It's an incredible build of damage and constant restoration. Literally a Titan build of "Too Angry to Die"
Once the new changes to health and all that kick in I think a 6s or even a Trials version of this build will be very good in the right hands. I plan on using my Heal Clip/ Golden Tricorn pulse with it. Glad to see these changes. Thanks again man!
This exotic alone carries my arc and stasis titan, even in PVP i use it with behemoth
I pulled Precious Scars out of the vault to help my team get through Warlord's Ruin on the first day, and it's been my go-to build since. I normally run Consecration instead of Sol Invictus for fun, but it's mostly the same principle.
I just solo-flawless Warlord’s Ruin with this exact build (I hadn’t seen your video yet). Heal Clip (post buff) was clutch on the second boss fight in particular. Everything he is saying is true. I hadn’t really messed with the helm and this build before, but now I am an absolute believer.
I've been using Scars with Tommy's Matchbook, and the combo absolutely pops off.
It's super fun with Tommy's matchbook
Tommy's is really good with Lorelay, too. But I personally use Jotunn.
Facts, just spray everything and the helmet does the regeneration for you.
Have you used tommys in master level content? I tried it once for master spire and it did not go well lol
@@skyeline9228
Do you have fun playing master level content?
@@skyeline9228it takes some work to build around it but it works a treat when you get it rolling, even if it's not as great as some other options.
Heliocentric with heal clip and incandescent is my main gun for dungeons and raids. 3,000+ kills in the past two weeks. So good.
That's my roll as well - it just puts in so much work, it's amazing.
I like the look of precious scars paired with the Menagerie armor set
If only pheonix cradle had this level of efficiency. That said this build is fun.
Precious Scars is a fun Any-Class exotic for Titans, like Severance Enclosure but safer. It's optimised on Solar for sure, but I enjoy using it on Void too, as Void Titans feel a bit limited with what they can do. It's probably not endgame worthy, but I was having fun using it with Ruinous Effigy - between Overshields, Devour, Restorarion and the Effigy's orbs I seemed to be able to Tank most things
This is a really cool build, the moment you started talking about heal clip, benevolence, and precious scars I immediately understood where you were going with this. I’ll have to try it out next time I’m build crafting
I've been running this thing in GMs, it's incredible.
have you been running it with solar? i wonder how cracked it would be with void like an overshield plus restoration you probably don't die ALOT
The cure values you gave were actually PVP values - in PVE Cure x1 is 60hp and x2 is 110hp. Heal clip is already great and will be massive in PVE with the March update
I’ve been using Precious Scars with Tommy’s Matchbook! The healing can counter the self burn so you can use the 100% damage buff with much more uptime. Bonus points for radiant.
You didn't mention it, and I know it's a world drop and not particularly common, but Heliocentric rolls with Heal Clip, could be a really good option for this build too. As a warlock main, this build looks pretty fun, definitely passed it on to the titans in my group!
You become virtually unkillable as you can dump a mag quickly and then reload quickly shortly / especially with incandescent
I decided to go for a different angle with solar support titan and use Phoenix Cradle. If Loreley is reactive and Precious Scars is active, Phoenix is passive. My job is to just create sunspots and let them do all of the work: deal damage, scorch targets, give team mates sol invictus (t1 resto + ability regen bonus) which then in turn activates benevolence. It has relatively low upkeep and provides more benefits to team mates.
I've noticed that buildcrafting has pivoted towards requiring as many kills as possible to keep the build going. Which is great but the big, unspoken weakness is if there's more than one player with said style build, you will eventually end up fighting each other for kills. So I decided to go for deliberately making a staggered frontline: I take the backline and only kill as many as needed to create some sunspots and let the the other guy to take the frontline and slay out to keep their build running. They will inevitably run into my sunpots and give me all the benefits, whilst getting some benefits themselves.
I've been using this in a void setup with volatile rounds. You're just constantly proccing healing. Even on strand if you want a more damage oriented setup with banner and a solar weapon.
This exotic is crazy good for healing, I was being shot by 3 cabal turrets at the same time in a defiant battleground and still managed to outheal the damage. I used Adhortative with heal clip not Abyss Defiant but it still worked. People need to know how good this exotic is.
Exactly that Adhoratatuve is nice. With the changes to heal clip it's gonna be real good.
Love Adhorative and Helios with Heal/Incandescent! I'm too noob to farm Crota weapons atm 😰
Precious scars,Navigator, lethephobia with permeability, thin precipice, banner of war, into the fray you can be triple strand weapon at will and with horde shuffle navigator spits threadlings off its targets just because of weft cutter. All the restoration with woven mail is another layer of protection. I trust players with that skeleton to survive without any specific build or mod setup
Been a Precious Scars main for more than 2 years now. Loved it from the beginning and love it more now
I've recently solo flawless'd (Banner Titan) Ghost of the Deep and Warlords ruin with barely ever getting that low health warning once. The combo of Precious Scars and Banner of War with a little Woven Mail thrown in the mix is incredibly potent for survivability. I'd recommend getting the ornament for Precious scars though so you're not running around looking like you got a condom stuck on your head.
I have a kill clip , heal clip Heliocentric and I can’t wait to use it after the buff in PvP! I already use it on PVE already and it’s a great solar support class. Helps keep everyone alive in higher tier content! Good video CG!!
Precious Scars is just an all around great exotic option now
Been using this helmet ALL season. It’s so versatile, but definitely best with solar. So much ability energy.
I use this with strand and banner of war. Lol it heals in between the pulse if banner of war.
I actually really like Precious scars with void Titan I've been using it with a graviton lance and classic overshield builds in GMS. In my opinion this is an exotic that should be used with some classes that aren't solar due to the fact that you can already get permanent restoration up time on the solar subclass
Precious Scars was my fav off meta pick starting 2 seasons ago - I was SO happy when they finally changed the healing to restoration. This past season I've been running it with a heal clip/incandescent ingeous or a heal clip Heliocentric. Love being the mobile juggernaut/healer :)
This Tuesday when I get my last age old bond frame, I'm gonna pair it with repulsor + destabilizing, offensive bulwark, controlled demo, and devour. Restoration, volatile healing, overshields that give grenade cooldown, and devour healing + grenade cooldown. I will be unstoppable
Been using this build since the beginning of the season with the adhorative which rolls incandescent+heal clip also. God tier build for sure.
Precious Scars was a huge part of my build for soloing Warlord's Ruin
When you have a beat, I’d love to hear a truncated version of what you’d consider S-Tier perks; following the upcoming changes.
This exotic helped me throughout the new master dungeon. For sure made it harder to die.
So uh... all my non-meta(Strand or Solar) Titan builds all just became Precious Scars builds at the start of the season. It's so good, makes any build endgame viable. Who knew slapping on Resto to anything will make it slap in endgame! :D Thanks whoever you are at Bungie that thought to dp this.
Been using it in trials and comp. Saved us many times. Might be off brand but it works really well. I rock it with helio with heal clip kill clip or my positive outlook.
Precious Scars helped me solo legendary clutch that final campaign with Prismatic.
Ran Void super with Grav Lance and Commemoration, ad density finally worked in my favor lol.
This video aged like fine wine! It's pretty much my onslaught build ❤
Heal clip is 60 in pve and 30 in pvp so after the update itll heal 60% of your full hp which is kinda nuts.
I love the use of heal clip with this i have found aswell depends on the activity but the blessing of the sky that you get from lumia's Noble rounds activates the embers of benevolence as well to have another layer of help you can apply for your team
Great vid coolguy im going to get this ago
Thanks for gettin nerdy with it buddy...👊
I used this alot at the beginning of the season. Its really fun.
I like this series!! It’s fun to tryout different loadouts that I haven’t used in a while
Great build. I replaced Searing (which doesn't do much for the build) with Torches, since proccing Radiant with an Autorifle is a pain in the butt sometimes.
CoolGuy is fr the only D2 TH-camr who I will watch any video he puts out
Been using this armor exotic and weapon perk set up a long time now....very cool
Thanks for highlighting this build, I've been using Preciuos Scars with acouple different sub classes. But solar def goes hard this season
Been using precious scars with a heal clip heliocentric all season long to give my stasis titan some better sustain/support. The artifact has let Ager's pull a lot of extra weight, while I sit back healing off the diamond dust.
I run a similar build for solo dungeons with dragons breath, zaouli's bane, and either nox perennial or supremacy.
As long as nothing catches you by surprise (like moths in ghosts) you are invincible with high solo damage output and ad clear - it basically does everything
Ngl, ive been dibble dabbling in it and im not even a titan main. It feels terrific to rock a light and dark subclass combos
about the lost sectors, just strand banner with lament and shackle grenade does wonders.
one thing and one thing alone Precious Scars + Heliocentric w healclip/killclip the ultimate kill chain bild.
TDT had a similar build, but he was using Tarrabah as his PvP weapon, which is fine. But you make a good case with using heal clip instead.
You can add osmosis kinetic weapon kills in the build for the synergy it has also for using grenades like the traveler's chosen.
Great build. I've been looking for things to do this season. Thanks.
I've been using it for about a month now in PVE with a Banner of War Titan and QSS, a 1-2P Matador, and Apex... It's pretty difficult to die with that load out! I have been thinking of trying it with Solar but haven't yet.
Been using the Wish Vex pulse, crafted with Healclip/incandescent and precious scars with the same titan build. Pulses are not great in pve but I have been really enjoying this combo, and for the seasonal it can also stun overloads plus all the other seasonal buffs to solar. It is fun.
Thanks for the video sir.
Been using precious scars non stop, the rework is unreal.
i'm running Tommy's with Scars. Pretty amazing.
I used almost this exact build in my day one dungeon clear
Been almost maining PS this season. So good.
my favorite titan exotic, braindead survivability, love it
This with tommys matchbook is OG
The Heliocentric sidearm can also roll Heal Clip/Kill Clip
I've been using precious scars most of the season with any heal clip weapon I get. It's nice if you tend to play too aggressive.
This exotic is meta in rift and now its even better I've always loved this ugly guy!
I don’t care how good it is until it gets an ornament that doesn’t make me look like Dumb Donald from “Fat Albert”.
lol that guy who was so pissed about the artifact, like bruh, its a part of the game
Been running a similar build. Glad to see it get some love.
It's worse in PVP than it used to be. It used to give like 80 health instantly, which was very useful for turning fights when combined with the OEM void fragment that gives an overshield.
Look I hear ya.... but use strand. Give your team Woven Male, Banner of War and restoration at the same time. Everyone goes "Precious Scars Solar good", use it on strand. Its very good on strand. Literally I've been saying this since season launch, but no one talks about it
Been rocking Scars since the change and I am afraid I can't play without it anymore, the amount of reckless stuff i get away with makes me die so fast when i switch loadouts. If you take some of the supporty Fragments you can also easily keep it up with Sunshot and Polaris Lance for Example.
I have a PS build I use when helping clan guardians run Dungeons and GMs. Couldn't use sprites but with the fix to resto March 5th PS will be awesome. Heal clip getting fixed, too? Will be great!
It also allows you to get restoration on other subclasses which is awsome like a void Titan with a volatile graviton lance can get restoration or a voltshot weapon on arc sounds good lol or restoration plus banner of war sounds crazy
I've always loved this one. Synergized great with stasis and headstone, but the rework makes it loads more consistent. Definitely a sleeper.
Needs better ornaments for sure, though.
Dang ya just now noticed. Iv mastered the build on season release
Leafy pulse with healclip incandescent 🎉
I run the same build but with consecration slam, the uptime on that melee is absurd with benevolence
Good build with it is to run solar an use jurassic green or adhoratative with heal clip. Than after a kill you will get cure an restoration. Also also with the update coming up cure from heal clip will default be cure x 2 soooo >:)
Wanted to get in here before the usual “first” comments; I really like your build videos and this new series is currently my favorite one on YT! Thanks for all you do homie!
With Darkest Before changing to solar, if it gets healclip it could be a real contender in PVP
Been rocking this and Tommy’s Matchbook. Just spray and let the helmet worry about health regen.
Not a top skill player but I solo’d the new dungeon with a similar build under powered and without the solo artifact mod at the start of the season. Def good
80 % visualization. 20% looking good.
This seems like it could go hard on void with the trials 140hc
got flawless with it last week, it's nasty
Been running this for a few weeks in trials now. Its 🔥
This thing has been stuck to my Titan since the change. Great exotic that people should give a chance. I'm looking forward to trying it on other subclasses (if I keep playing D2).
Second ever solo gm years ago was with PS and it carried on Void.
Im using kill clip heal clip on my addept role . Its great this season its my most used weapon for anti -barriers
Precious Scars makes me think of better Karnstein Armlets. And I love me some Armlets with a glaive.
I've been enjoying precious scars on solo and less difficult content. I do seem to be lacking pretty hard when it comes to getting kills when I am part of a fireteam running raids and dungeons. I'm staying alive alright but my buddies are getting 5x more kills than I am. Maybe I just can't shoot idk lol
