What a flashback. I bought a 6930 in 2012 and had it until 2017/18 when I upgraded to an i5 7600k and 1070. During that time I only played PES and NBA 2K so I didn't even need a gpu upgrade
I´ve got a r9 280x as my backup card in case the main gpu ( 6800 XT ) fails for some reason. I have no intention of ever selling it, no matter how often i upgrade.
@@kawafahra not worth selling it they are what 10-15$ at most + person buying wouldn't be aware they need at least 750W PS to run stable, so probably would complain about perfectly healthy card, these are not for bargain bins, those cards use same power like 4080 or more...
Recently bought one for an AMD retro build. Replaced the thermal paste for it was hitting 95. Now, at times the screen splits in the middle (as if you have dual monitors, which I dont) and requires a restart to get the system back to normal. Installing the drivers was another nightmare :/ (I'm on windown 7 btw). I do hope this is not dead. Despite the hardships, I like it. And when it works, it works beautifully.
LMFAO I am writing this ATM with this GPU ......just ordered a MSI RTX 3070 I am so exited to see eye candy again oh and those things called frame rates lol!
That design looks really cheap and overall is awful but at the release time it was great. Interesting if current gen GPUs also will look so bad 14 years later or not?
Custom gpu drivers are often the best solution for these obsolete GPUs.
4 sure the indonesian drivers
Great video, dude.
In depth, no bullshit, no time wasted.
Won my subscription 🙌
I went from that to an RX580 lol and now I'm going to a 7600XT :p

If you want this card get 7970 GHz edition instead, same thing but twice as fast, as fast to run some today games (esport).
