Good video. I would like to note (as someone who works on Skidoos) I would avoid GGB at all costs (and certain MBRP cans) GGB is just a copy n paste can. GGB does not have a flow bench like Dynoport, HPS, Jaws, SLP, and a few others. As someone that also owns a XM like yours, I would highly recommend Jaws or HPS can for your sled. As well as a good clutch kit and it will be on another level! Could even throw a low elevation Powder Freaks head for another bump in HP! But unfortunately the GGB will rob rpms, which in return is your HP!
Interesting. My sled has the GGB and i haven’t had issues with losing rpm or power. Im looking into getting a clutch kit, any you would recommend? And i will probably be looking into a rebuild soon considering I’ve got 5100km but still good compression.
@@jaketryban8772 If you are looking for a can/pipe go with Jaws/SLP/HPS those work on the Skidoos (800/850s) the best. Have personally tested many types of cans/pipe combos and you are best off with those. MBRP specializes in truck exhausts, not so much in the sled department.
@@northern_sledding_adventures Sorry thought I responded man! I would recommend Sledhead Racing. That is who I go to for all my Skidoo needs. I ride with the owner and do some testing with him in the mountains. Big John knows his stuff!
@@Snowdasledders yeah brother I just did a bunch of research myself for hours on them lol. I decided to go right a hps can! I love the deeper throat sound it gives off! I appreciate it because I was about 2 seconds away from buying an MBRP! Only reason I went right to them was cuz I’m a diesel guy and like you said they do well in that category lol 😂 so thank you for your wisdom!
i just received my MBRP Race Can for my 2015 Ski-doo 600 E-TEC, put it on, and its barely any louder than the stock muffler... im positive its even quieter than their trail cans mbrp has.. can anyone help?
That seems very stange. Mine had to break in before it was pretty loud but i have a trail can and its way louder than stock. The only can that should be close to stock sound level is the quiet can.

What certain mbrp cans? I just got a 17 freeride yesterday and I’m looking to get a can.

@@northern_sledding_adventures yeah i’m not sure what to do. it’s small like a race can aswell so i know it’s not the trail can or quiet can.
@@vSpoh 600’s are quieter in general than 800 and 850’s but ya i would check that its not a quiet can
