Inner light is surprisingly good to actually use with the mage’s guild passive that gives empower, since that buffs the heavy attack damage from the resto staff and the subsequent burst heal.
Just found this, love an off meta build. Ive been having a play with this seeing if I am able to improve it or not. It seems there is a cap on the heal from the Resto Passive. I cannot make it go up but i can make it go down. Biggest I had is 27k+, plus a heal of 12799!
Super interesting. My one bar heavy attack healer is an oakensoul sorcerer rocking war machine + powerful assault (spc would be better, but Im stacking max stam because I am a bosmer and medium armor gives better healing stats than light armor)
@@Old-Dutchman Ive gotta use it to get some hard mode clears before I can post it! My prog hasnt managed any just yet because weve had some roster issues
Nice build! I’m shocked that this isn’t an Oakensoul build. The fact that it is mythic free makes it a lot easier for some to put together. I’ll slap this on my female Nord Warden toon soon and will put it through its paces. Any benefit to using the vamp curse with this? Besides Undeath passive, I mean. I’m kind of used to having this on all the time. But with the heals this build generates, I’m not quite sure that passive bonus will really see any use.
Hi Tate! Thank you and I hope it works for you! You don't have to drop Vampirism but I would keep an eye on your magicka sustain in solo content, especially if using the healing morph of flappy bird (Matriarch). If you end up using Oakensoul and Tri-Pots it won't be as pressing, but if not, you may want to lower it to stage 1 and you should be fine.
Never considered kinras to free up that bar space but I run heartland and SPC and I have no idea if kinras + another ability would be worth dropping SPC. Thoughts appreciated 😁 I use Polar wind as my emergency heal so I don't have to face target anyone. It's really amazing. Also I use radiating regeneration instead of ground based cause I once again don't have to think abt it and it's useful for constant movement. Correct me if/where I'm wrong. Thx 🙏
Welp, this comment got buried quick haha. Sorry for the super late response! There's a million ways to chop it up and no real "wrong" answer. I wouldnt drop SPC however as it adds quite a bit to the group. Polar wind is a great burst heal. Just be mindful of its range vs your other healing spells.
Hi Matt! You nailed it, all medium would likely be idea due to the medium armor passives Dexterity and Agility. I hope it works well for you and thank you for watching!
Hi Ryn! Welcome to the discord! we can just move this there. I’ll add the new set up to the website here soon as well. It’s thank you for the reminder!
I know it's 1month ago. But what you think about going for like a full hybrid setup with lightning staff instead and sets that complement heavy attacks like: Roaring, archdruid and smth else like jorvuld / spc / olo or drop Monster set for oaken
Does lotus smartheal? And does it heal other targets than your essence drain heal? Like if you channel a resto heavy, could you heal two party members? One from the lotus proc and one from the essence proc?
Why not drop kinra for 4 pieces of Maligaligs Maelstrom (2 item-1096 mag/3 item-4% healing done/4 item-129 weapon+spell damage) and add oakensoul (adds maj prophecy/sorcery, +8% healing done via min mending , minor heroism, +215 weapon/spell damage via min courage, +40% HA damage via empower, +15 increase in all recoveries, etc.)? This would increase healing power via max mag and increased spell damage, healing done percentage, increase ulti rate per encounter, and free up bar space for more healing skills. Usually a dps is gonna wear kinra anyways.
Hi Jo! That works too! Lot's of ways to chop it up. There are many sets in the game now that would accommodate this type of set up. (Regarding Oakensoul, I specifically didn't include it by request for those that don't have access to it. I think I mention in the video there are lot's of options for sets and what not you can use. This is just what we put together at the time on stream that ended up working very well and had more than enough hps for one of the more habitual problematic dungeon HMs. I didn't spend much time min/maxing or theory crafting, just took it straight from stream for the people that asked for it.) Thanks for the comment!
Hi Ben! That can work as well! A couple of concerns for that set is that in aoe situations your team will lose a bit of damage as you likely wont be able to heavy everything all of the time and that you will lose Major Berserk increasing your damage by 10% and since we are mainly heavy attack healing, the Resto Passive Essence Drain will be less effective as it heals for a % of the damage done by the heavy. eso-hub.com/en/skills/weapon/restoration-staff/essence-drain I love the line of thinking and thank you for the comment!
Hi Ink! This build still works exactly the same. Generally anything on the website is kept up with through patch changes. (There are updates being worked on now, so some builds will be updated soon.)
Hi Brandon! Probably something like replace Budding Seeds on the front bar with Illustrious Healing from the resto staff line and move Budding Seeds to the back bar. Add: Aggressive War Horn, Elemental Blockade, Fetcher Infection, Echoing Vigor + a Flex spot. However, if you were going this route, you would be much better off just using a "traditional" healer set up as you would be 95% there anyway and playing it roughly the same way with a second bar, but would be lacking other buffs and what not that would greatly affect your group.
@@BirdShutterbug You are very welcome and awesome! If you have any questions at any time please let me know. Here, discord, or stream, whichever is more convenient for you!
This is build is so stupid it gives you a Doctorates Degree in 10/1000ths of the time spent to get a real one 💗 Love your time & dedication my friend 💕 What do you think about combining Wisdom of Vanus & Draugr's Rest my good man?
😂Thank you Cooking! 💙 There are lots of ways to chop it up! Draugrs can work great. Just eye balling it, Vanus' might not be so hot though. "After completing a fully-charged Heavy Attack, you gain Major Mending for 5 seconds, increasing your healing done by 16%. This duration is increased with each rank of the Restoration Staff Passive of Essence Drain when using a Restoration Staff." Since you are primarily channeling heavies, youll have major mending up constantly/most of the time anyway from Resto passives. I am not sure committing a whole 5 set to extend a duration of something you'll already have up mainly will be a net gain. Unless I read that wrong, it is worded a little funky. I have personally never used that set before.

Does lotus smartheal? And does it heal other targets than your essence drain heal? Like if you channel a resto heavy, could you heal two party members? One from the lotus proc and one from the essence proc?
Hi Caleb! They can and do heal separate targets. I just checked some gameplay footage to verify. Great question!

Not all of them, but definitely the easier ones.
