This is an incredibly strong Off-Meta One Bar Heavy Attack Warden Solo build that can solo any solo content in the game on any difficulty, but it is configured specifically for ESO's new content: The Endless Archive. It will help you get on the Weekly Leaderboards and get gold quality Endless Archive Class Set gear weekly rewards! I
➡️Written Guide: www.thegameroom.tv/warden-builds Click " ONE BAR SOLO" under" PVE"
➡️Supplemental Info:
🔵Sets: Ice Furnace + Deadly Strike:
Ice furnace has been a great PvP Magden set that has came and went in popularity through the years with little to no PvE application due to the limitations of its proc. The idea for this to be used in the Archive was taken from PvP theory crafting on how we can help bust up some of these 12 man raid boss tanky BGs. If you ever see a Warden go 3 or 4 million damage in a BG, oftentimes (but not always) it’s the result of this set and cheesing damage a bit with aoe damage in ultra tanky team fights. As you increase the number of enemies and as they get more tanky, Ice Furnace grows in strength once you start factoring the Burning status effect spreading to more mobs (and then further strength with EA Visions).
Deadly Strike provides an important PERCENT based increase (15%) to our main damage sources, damage over time effects. So as the Archive becomes more difficult and we grow more powerful in the archive with Visions and Verses, our damage continues to scale upwards even further as a percent based increase will also grow over time, versus adding another set with a static damage source like Pillar Of Nirn.
Example:
If you did 100 damage and added 15%, that would be 115 damage, adding 15 damage.
If you did 1000 damage and added 15% that would be 1,150 damage, adding 150 damage.
If you did 10,000 damage and added 15% that would be 11,500, adding 1,500 damage.
Etc.
This is a perfect complement to the archive as its entire design is indefinite upward scaling. Using Pillar of Nirn for an example. The Pillar of Nirns damage will only be increased in EA by the Verses/Visions you compliment it with. However with Deadly Strike, EVERY damage over time source, which is the majority of our damage, will always be increased by 15%, scaling as we grow within EA.
🔵Staff Choice: For EA, unquestionably, Ice is the move. I think the video covered that fairly well. It is also my staff of choice for all solo content. For GROUP pve such as dungeons, a Lightning staff will likely net you more damage as a whole as dungeons are typically centric around trash and they have very low health values. The Tri-Focus Destruction Staff Passive with a Lightning Staff will make up for the lack of dot damage from enemies dying so fast and not allowing dots to ramp up. An Inferno staff is the worst choice in all content pieces.
On that note, please don’t take this into trials. It’s not a dps build, but can work in dungeons. Anything above that, you will be doing a disservice to your group.
🔵VISIONS:
MAIN FOCUS:
1) Scorching Support - You always want to get 1 of these. Always.
2) Focused Efforts - Stack as many of these as you can get. With the Vision power up from the lobby, it turns this from a 200% status effect increase to 500%. The most I have had was 4, increasing our status effects by 2000%.
MINOR FOCUS:
General dot/area damage increases, and then stack defense.
🔵VERSES:
Usual stuff here: Augmented Areas, Beatdown, Class Embodiment, Exsanguinate, Fire Orb, Flame Aura, Guardian of Pestilence, Magical Multitudes, etc.
Swift Gale: This one is huge for this build due to chilled and ice furnace. Always get this in any situation and spam light attacks.
The general heavy attack verse/visions as well are beneficial such as the ones that reduce enemy resistances, add a damage over time, and restore your resources/ult.
Please let me know in the comments if you have any questions and I will be sure to answer as soon as I can!

This looks like such a great build! Thanks for taking the time to go through everything on it!
You are very welcome Fox Fam!
Brother, it's just one great build after another from you! I wasn't even going to try the Archives, but this one is making me reach for my High Elf Warden. Thank you so much!
Yesirrrr you are very welcome and thank you so much for the kind words! This build has been updated to what I am calling its final version. Guides go out Monday! th-cam.com/video/dC2kTLbxduU/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much for sharing this with us and explaining everything so well - you're a legend!
Excellent video!!! Was able to get Inkslayer on first try. I went Dark Elf and worked like a charm. Really enjoy all your content and watching your streams. Keep it up!!! Looking forward to what's next.
AWESOME work PM and thank you so much for coming back and letting me know! 🙏 I have a newer version I am calling the final version dropping Monday that hit Arc 8 on both the Warden and the DK! th-cam.com/video/dC2kTLbxduU/w-d-xo.html
Great work as always 👍
Looking forward to trying this out. Love the channel.
Thank you Johnny! I hope you enjoy it!
Once again you did it! Great job!!!❤
Thank you Bryan!
I want to thank you for this build. I was struggling to make it to Arc 5 with several characters. With this build I made Arc 6 before the person I was with called it for the night because it was late. This build is super powerful! Really thank you!
Great Video. So much has changed, ESO almost feels like a new game to me 😆
Thank you Ambriel! It sure has haha. Very different feeling currently, in a good way.
Thank you for the videos. I enjoy the Warden for sure, I find myself using Destructive Clench for the automatic Chilled Status + the Major Maim. If running Duo it also takes pressure off my partner.
I too was using Frostbite, but I recognize now that using Deadly with Ice Furnace is going to be better, due to Deadly increasing the damage ticks of the burning status effect.
You are very welcome! I hope you enjoy it if you try it out.
Thank you for this build. I found serpents disdain is strong as it adds 16 seconds onto all status effects, so with focused efforts it causes all status effect dots to tic for 20 seconds or 10 total dot tics (1 every 2 seconds). This means they begin to overlap and you end up hitting 5 status effect dots at the same time without a cooldown. I disagree about the bear, as my build uses the bleed dot version and that adds another status effect that slays. I use the morph of polar winds that heals the bear and my teammate if I have one. I solo'd with this build to arc 8. The ice furnace armor reinforced on 3 big pieces and well fitted on the rest was essential to stay at cap with a lower cost to dodgeroll. Serpents disdain is amazing as it overlaps bleed, poison, burning, chilled, concussed, etc on a one bar build. But with no focused efforts the higher arcs become a chore. 😅
Very nice!
Can't wait to see what you come up with. I've been usinga Frost Warden heavy attack build using Hrothgar + Frostbite with Oakensoul focusing on Max Health for the big heals and shields. Plus the % dmg stacking ice staff passive and synergy between Hrothgar and Frostbite. But I feel like it's not the most optimal way to play heavy attack frost Warden and I think you're the content creator to find the most optimal build for this set up. Please, enlighten us again like you always do. I love all your build videos
Thank you for the kind words, Yoshi. 🙏
I just watched it... I was not disappointed. Never in my life would I have ever come up with something like this lol Thank you SO SO MUCH for your content. You deserve so much more views and subscribers with the value of knowledge you keep pumping out. Thank you again
@@Centurion305 You are Very welcome Yoshi, I appreciate you watching!
Thanks Dooma.
You are very welcome Me!
I literally am trying this build right now. I’ve struggled with IA because I’m old and I suck. This build tho is fire. Thank you!
Ho Hoze! Haha awesome, I hope you enjoy it! I did update this build a bit beyond this video (this video isnt outdated at all, I just improved the build further as I kept play testing things). Here is the updated version: th-cam.com/video/dC2kTLbxduU/w-d-xo.html ALSO (lol) If you check out the community tab above, I made a post yesterday where I tried yet another version of the set up and reached Arc 9-3 with it. Those details are in Discord for everyone.
You are very welcome and whatever version you decide to play, I hope you crush it! Thank you for watching! 🙏
@@Dooma update from the old fart. I got further than I ever have. I’ll try the updated ones. Thank you!

Again nice Build mate!
Question regarding your PVP builds:
Do your PVP builds apply also for Cyrodiil or do you have more specific pvp builds for open PVP areas?
Hi Jonkela! Most of the builds published work in all forms of pvp. "Normally" in the video I will say where it works best at or if it works everywhere. If there is CP given in the guide, that usually means it's been tested and works in overworld as well. Let me know if you have any questions about any specific builds!
Awesome video love the deep dive and explanation. I may have missed it but how are you dividing attribute points? Also any tips for speed? Its so helpful on final boss arcs. Typically id slot wings but i dont want to mess with the skills! What are your thoughts on running stage 3 vamp for 30 percent damage reduction?
Hi Amanda! Thank you! The build overview with elements like attributes is at the beginning of the video at 2:10. I am going to be doing a full clear tomorrow on twitch if you wanted to see it in action or have any specific questions along the way. I usually explain what I am doing as I go to help. www.twitch.tv/the_gameroom I'll be starting around 10 a.m.'ish CT.
Looks fun 🤓 been getting wrecked arc 4+ will give it a try
Hi Jaky! Awesome, I hope you enjoy it and thank you for watching!
Is it better than the older one outside the archive?
Thanks for the awesome builds, BTW.
Edit: updated the question as initially I asked if this can be used outside which is stated at the beginning of the video that it can, which I initially missed.
Hi Cristian! It's "better" in that you just don't die, but you will clear it slower. If anything it's overkill with survivability so you can scale any of that back you like to add more damage. Thank you for watching!
Great build ! Would you make any tweaks to it for Vet Vateshran Hollows ?
Thank you! I ran through vma/vvate with no sigils and no deaths without making any changes. If anything it's overkill with survivability so you can scale any of that back you like to add more damage.
What are the armor styles on your hood, mask, chest, and legs? Looks sick bro!
Hi DG! Thanks!
Helm: Medium Sapiarch
Chest/Legs - Heavy Stormlords (pvp)
I'm curious, do you resest the run if you don't get focused efforts after a couple arcs, or do you just keep going ?
Hi Knight! I genuinely think I have not done that a single time. Not that I can remember anyway. Not out of any principle or anything, but mainly because I don't want to have to redo it all, and it usually works it self out to some degree. The DK build I just posted a screen shot of had terrible visions. I think I showed on discord I ended up with 1 total focused efforts vision after an Arc 6-3. Today on stream on the Templar, I ended up with zero of them.
I can say this, in all of my runs, every single one of them eventually balanced out to some degree except for 1, todays run on stream.
All that said, I like the Roguelike element to it where sometimes it's diamonds, sometimes it's stones haha.
Precise was definitely unexpected, as was deadly! Precise for later arcs after you get some focused efforts online really does make some good sense for the crit healing.
For deadly, Im a little more skeptical its better than a high crit or weapon/spell damage set just because it may be an additive damage bonus like others in the game are, and it doesnt boost your chilled damage which is the bulk of your damage. I figure something like New Moon would work better as there are already so many percent boosts as visions. Higher base stats play really well with percentage boosts, and the extra pen will give you only a little under half the value of the deadly 5pc bonus whenever youre underpenned.
Sick to see your build go so far though! Ice furnace is for sure the warden meta in the archive
Edit: by additive bonus, I mean major and minor berserk stack to be 15% instead of 16.5%, so in the archive that 15% damage bonus from deadly probably doesnt multiply with the other percent based boosts you get in the archive. But base stat increases do get boosted because they will buff the stats before they get multiplied. I think you can see this in action with your combat metrics because your dot numbers that arent status effects are not significantly higher than they would be outside of the archive.
For the status effects, it could be that deadly pushes their damage from 500% increase to 515% which is not a significant enough gain imo. Id rather have more procs or more base stats I think
There are oversights with these thoughts but also, I am not sure how to even respond to this buddy. I am just going to keep it respectful and keep it pushing. Thanks for the comment.
@@Dooma sorry if anything came off as snarky or anything! My opening exclamation point was supposed to mean something like unexpected in a good way, like its cool. I like the build! (I just write books in comment sections. I cant help myself)
@@CreativeExcusesGaming You're good dude. 💪
Heyo CE ! Love to see you here. You 2 are my absolute favorite eso creators. I'd kill to see a collab on warden solo build. It'd be the greatest 1 bar ever !
I am having difficulty getting past arc 2.5 and surviving until 3. What is the optimal rotation you are doing in the mobs. How often are you casting vigor compared to heavy attack for the shield?
Hi Kris! I will be doing a full clear tomorrow on stream if you wanted to see it in action or wanted to ask any specific questions during the clear. www.twitch.tv/the_gameroom Ill be starting around 10am 'ish Central.
Interesting. My only wardens are a Breton heal and an Argonian tank. I wonder which one would fit this new role the best ?
Hi Thierry! Racial options are discussed at 2:09.
First thx for all your build, love to try them in game ^^
But small question, do you have some guide for a werewolf build. Didn't find one nice with recent update ^^"
You are very welcome Balze and thank you for trying them out! I don't one just yet, but it's on my list to work on.
Im sorry maybe im dumb but how are you getting the 5th bonus piece bonus from deadly? at 6:39 theres only 4 deadly pieces in the build? maybe im just confused lol great video btw
I would also like to know this
Shoulder Is deadly only 1 piece kragh
Hi Jaunito! Your weapon slot count as 2. So in this case, the Staff would count towards 2 for the five set bonus, the shoulder counts as 1, the necklace counts as 1, and the ring counts as 1, giving a total of 5.
Hey got a question: Deadly Strike does increase Status effects DMG, but does Frost Status effect doing actually DMG over time? Or is Deadly Strike only for the fire proc of Ice furnace? Wouldnt another Set be more powerful? Thx!
Hi Exicontor! Check out the final version of this build if you are interested, it's a bit more optimized for higher Arcs and hit Arc 8 recently: th-cam.com/video/dC2kTLbxduU/w-d-xo.html Chilled is instant, but that is only 1 element of your damage. There are still many others being affected by deadly. As for which is "better" I think that is an "individual results may vary" thing based on how far someone gets in the Archive, how they are playing, and individual ability. If someone's experience is "only" the arc 4/5/6 area for their personal ceiling, its very possible that something like charged/heartlands would benefit them more, for players that climbed beyond that, its very possible that deadly will be more valuable as they are running around for long periods of time trying to bleed things out and stay alive, often times not being able to keep chilled proccing as effectively as earlier arcs (when solo). Before Arc 4'ish area, the difference is going to matter very little. Great question! Either way, I feel the newest version is a much stronger alternative. I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
@@Dooma thanks!
I am currently (right now) making this build. If you didn’t go with arcane on the jewelry what would you next choice be?
I'm going with infused ;)
I have some thoughts going out on this specific topic tomorrow on stream. There is going to be another build soon with some options.
Your theory-crafting fu is strong! I love how the build works--soooo much better than the HA sorc build I've been running.
Looking forward the NB as well :D
Haha thank you very much Tim! I played the NB on stream today and it's more or less done. Tomorrow is the Necro and then I think I am going to combine them both together in a guide.
@@Dooma Well, now! I was going to run the NB (I've got 3 of them, so there is always room to try new NB builds), but this might be an excuse to finally roll a necro. Up till now I haven't been interested enough in the class to make it worth the levelling/skill point grind.
@@timabababaluka Awesome! If you want to stop by stream for a few minutes tomorrow afternoon, you can see a bit of it live in action to see if it's something you want to invest your time in.
Dooma, you said you ran out od transmute crystals, i have a lot, wich will be the perfect set up in traits ?? Thank you !!
Looks like the one on the website are correct, lets craft !!!!
Glad you found what you were looking for on the site!
How do you do Aramil with this build? It does not do enough damage to destroy crystals
Hi Alex! The IA build's are designed for upper arcs. It's going to be way overkill defensively in early arcs. In those lower arcs, I just tell people "do what you have to do" to get through them at a pace that is comfortable for you (because literally anything goes in early arcs. A lot of the early stuff is smoke and mirrors. I showed people clearing some of it naked on stream). Everyone will be different. You can change sets, cp, food, skills, etc. in early arcs to get through it faster and as you go further and further, add elements of the build back to get however tanky you feel you need to be.
Once you have some Focused Efforts stacks, then the build takes over. Here is a very short (1 minute) update to this build for the current patch as well: th-cam.com/video/sF1v18w1ApA/w-d-xo.html
Dooma! Special request! 1 BAR DK bash build!!!!! Patron join guaranteed!
I have been looking for an frost warden build that uses an ice staff for solo. can you solo vet hardmodel dungeons with this?. seems like an amazing build. thanks
Hi there Mike! You are very welcome! This build has went through some changes since this video. Here is the version after that: th-cam.com/video/dC2kTLbxduU/w-d-xo.html Also, if you look at my post on the community tab, from 4 days ago, that starts with: "🔥I (very) rarely say something like this, but..." There is a bit of information about the newest version going into U41 here soon. Its REALLY strong!
Regarding soloing other content, I don't recommend it at all. It's massively defensive overkill without the offensive strength to not make it miserable. By the time you change enough things to make it more viable in other content, it would have been much faster to just use another build.
If you go to the SOLO build section on the website for Wardens, scroll just past the Infinite Archive builds, there is a second build there that is able to solo everything you would every want, including some trial bosses.
www.thegameroom.tv/warden-builds
@@Dooma wow thanks alot of your response. I have hand problems which is why I wanted to run your builds. Most of the other 1 bar builds out there use lightning staff but I really want to use frost staff as a frost warden
@@mikestubeviews9973 You are very welcome and Gamers like you are exactly why I keep making the build that I do. I also have a bit more modified series of builds here that are very simple to play and can be quite effective: th-cam.com/video/dueCu8bLOw4/w-d-xo.html
my main is a warden and I really want to be able to run them through EA solo, I am loving my solo EA arcanist build from Gameroom, but I can not let my arcanist become my main!!
Wardens #1! ❄🔥
I just made this up, i didnt use my main warden as they are an orc but i race changed another warden i have from khajit to nord. I know u say high elf is best but i cant stand having another high elf, so i went nord. I know that i probably could have stayed khajit, but i was looking for a change. Just farming the last few transmutes to complete then ill go test it!
Awesome, I hope you enjoy it!
@@Dooma I'm waiting for your DK EA solo build! At the moment the Warden feels strong, but I wish there was a spammable for more damage in the early arcs. It kills fast when there are lots of mobs, but one to one fights feel lackluster. I think it is a skill issue on my side, but compared to the one-bar solo EA build it feels a lot less fluid. I can see how this warden build will excel in the later arcs though.
I address a little bit of this in the final version coming out tomorrow: th-cam.com/video/dC2kTLbxduU/w-d-xo.html What you are experiencing though is a bit normal. It's designed to scale and really starts to take off after you get a little deeper into the Archive. There are some early bosses though that can feel like a slog to get through if you had bad verse rng going into it. You are totally right. A spammable for the super early area can help. Crushing Shock is a great choice due to its extra interrupt as well. The good news is, in those scenarios, the bosses only take 1-2 minutes or so to push through, so it's not a huge time sink, but it does feel very jarring for sure when that pops up on you at some point. After a bit of time and some visions, all of that goes away though.
Bruh I was literally just watching your next level warden video 😂
>djkhaledanotheronememe .jpg 😂
this video doesnt match the written guid you have posted. I cant find a written guide for this video anywhere. Did the build in the written guide and quick video replace this one? is it better?
Hi Rodney! This build was updated after this quite a bit. The most current version is what is on the website. Right below that build is the latest video guide for it. Or, you can access it directly here (It's a 1 minute video): th-cam.com/video/sF1v18w1ApA/w-d-xo.html
@@Dooma Thanks Dooma, ( I love your builds and videos) SO... Youre saying i need to swap to the gear and skills in the 10+ video correct. And then use the same food, pots and CP from this video? (since the new video doesnt mention any of these items) I would LOve to see a video of how you do in EA with the new build compared to the video above. Thanks for all your efforts!
You are very welcome! I would just follow the written guide to make is simple. The written guide should include all the aspects from the video + the misc. little things missing.
dam dude i thought ur arcanist build was awesome lol i had a full set of ice furnace in impenetrable for my 1 bar frostygon pvp build so just used that to test the build out, made the mistake of entering with a companion and couldnt reset it for 5 minutes so i thought wtf ill poddle thru get a bit of practice in and ended up getting 126k on my first run with it which ended with a weird glitch that stole my last life :( a question about gear: have u tried azureblight in place of deadly? if so how did it stack up? do the explosions make up for the lower tick damage? or leeching plate? for the higher arcs for survivability especially when ur getting swamped by lots of adds as u go higher and higher, great build and if i hadnt fluffed my entrance woulda got me 13th on the solo board on first try
Haha Juds that's great, thank you for sharing and I am glad it worked so well for you. There are lots of options you can use to replace Deadly that will shake up the build in different ways. I definitely would experiment with different options if that is an interest for you. I am actually going to be playing around with some different defensive options next (in the build as a whole, not just gear set) myself to see if we can elevate this into the Arc 7 area consistently. Thank you for coming back and commenting! 💪
so im the tank for my little group can i used this build in vet dgns as a tank?

Bosmer get pen so change the mundus stone
Hi Mobspeak! Haha Bosmer won't be totally bad. Youll get a bit of pen which helps and while the stam and stam sustain isn't the best, it definitely doesn't hurt either, especially in higher Arcs. You should be good!
Hi Crow! I wouldn't change the mundus here for a Bosmer. The baseline pen for the build is almost 12k short of the cap and Bosmer is only adding ~950 towards that deficit.
Yeah I thought that when I was tweaking with it, my warden is a bosmer. I swapped out the one piece but went back to the one piece being pen. Cant remember what it is called. Been fine, thanks for the build

@Dooma I'm sure you know this, but things got hairy at Arc 8. The HA damage shield wasn't cutting it anymore. Was thinking about maybe using the shield enchant with infused, or looking into Red CP
