Thank you for doing this one. I have been giving serious thought to the Bronco and the Heritage version calls to me as I remember the ones from the 60's. I haven't found the time to try and get a test drive so this at least gives me a sense of what it would be like. I like Old School. The fewer the electronic gizmos, the fewer things that can go wrong which I can't fix on my own. :-)

That one is pretty cool. The squared off fenders look a lot better than the round ones. One reason I like ford is because they are so ergonomic. I would love to see a video testing that crawler gear in traffic.

Azure blue Heritage. I'm a 62 year old woman and have been driving a Toyota Sienna mom van for ten years. Prior to that had a K-Blazer and can't wait to compare the Bronco with my favorite car of all time. Thanks to my husband for saying, "Let's get it." Before I'm too old to climb in, haha!!!
I don't know how everyone likes leather seats. They're cold as hell in the winter and hot as hell in the summer, although I do live where it gets down to -40 in the winter.
@@invis477 not to mention that cloth seats hold up a lot better than leather seats do. Leather seats are a 2,000 dollar option on the bronco. Definitely a box I wouldn’t tick if I was ordering one

Awesome video thank you! As a heritage edition order holder this video has me more excited to get mine. I ordered the race red 4 door with the 2.7 ecoboost. I think it’ll look so good with the white accents.
Can't say this for many cars, but my favorite Bronco is the base 2-door with steelies and the manual. I'd get it green with the hardtop and the old-school "FORD" spare cover.

I have a sports car but these always spark my interest. Cool to see one driven from the inside. Great utility vehicle. If I ever get the money and urge to get a big vehicle, this is it, and the fact that it is a removable top is the cherry on top.

Completely over the Bronco, from quality issues, to mark-ups, to supply/availability issues, it's lost its luster. You, on the other hand, keep making awesome videos, we appreciate it.
that and they should have never dropped the solid front axel. its fantastic for most people, but the folks that want to hit moab or rubicon it's much more labor and finance intensive to get an IFS up to snuff.
@@hunterromano5562 To be fair they aren't really targeted at crawling. Given Ford's presence in Baja, its not really a surprise they used IRS, it's far superior for high speed off-roading especially in the desert or dunes.
I'm much happier with IFS. These new Broncos absolutely rip high speed. Almost as good as a late model raptor. Don't forget that's what 80-96 broncos are famous for, they are some of the best prerunner vehicles.
@Hunter Romano If somebody buys a 50k bronco to actually go off roading, then doesn't consider the thousands for more upgrades and can't afford them on top of the bronco. They could never afford the bronco in the first place.
That’s almost my spec bronco that I have ordered, except mine is cactus grey. They’ve delayed my build 7 times now, so I’m encouraged that there are finally some getting out there, even if it is a press car.
Thanks for making this video. I have a Race Red HE Auto scheduled to be built sometime this summer (date keeps moving 😢) Speculation is they are having roof issues, again. Really excited with what I saw in your video. Just gotta be patient.
@TheTopher can you include a segment where you slide the seat all the way back to show how much leg room their is? I’m 6’5 so it’s always a big deal to know if I can fit comfortably. Maybe just include leg room stats
The transmission couldn't handle the extra power. That's a red flag for the transmission when a company does that. Similar is the Toyota Tacoma, you can't get the long bed in a manual. They know the increased payload will break the trans.
@@DaDaDo661 It's just so weird because the FJ Cruiser had a manual with the 4.0L and the Prado has a manual even with the diesels. I feel these companies want manuals to fail because you can't be acting this stupid. this Ford manual is brand new so the could've easily designed it to be strong enough for the V6 but no they didn't.

I've had my 2/dr. base Sas. since mid Nov, 2.7 auto, erup/grn, mod/bumper, aux/sw.2k miles so far. Best auto that I have ever owned, this has LOTS of power drives like a sports car so fun I hate when I get to my detestation I just want to keep driving. As for as mpg I am at 18.5 on 87 reg. gas this is around town I was hoping for more but with those 35" tires I guess I am lucky to get that. I get lots of compliments on this color eruption green when at gas stations or at stop lights. To me this 2dr model is the only true Bronco I had a 74 with a 302 v/8 and it drove like a stiff truck. The 4/dr. to me looks like a early 92 Ford Explorer mall crawler, true Broncos were made to be two doors. Even the 1978 OJ model were just a Ford F150 with a cover over the bed, not a true Bronco.
Chris, We hear hints that the 'heritage' theme will adopted by the upcoming 4X4s from Toyota. Let's hope they go all the way with manual transmissions to match Bronco and Wrangler. 🤩
I believe you're referring to the compact cruiser. Pretty sure its going to be fully EV. But toyota was testing their simulated manual transmission in their lexus EVs 🤔

Honestly as an American you guys are lucky to have good public transport and walkable cities. Having to use a car to get from one place to another regardless of how close a place is becomes an absolute pain.
Nah it’s definitely fun when I went to Italy we rented a BMW X5 and while the highway was ok most of the roads in my dads town weren’t very good for such a big car
The Heritage looks great, and looks much more like a Bronco, and much better, with the squared off fenders than the rounded ones. Hey, Ford designers! If you read this, you might replace the rounded fenders with the squared on all models!
Wanted a badlands for the sound system and leather but people are saying the B+O sound system isn’t that great. Might spend 15k less on a heritage that still comes with my manual, blind spot monitoring and wireless CarPlay and heated seats, all the things I really really want. This thing looks GORGEOUS in person
Wow, that MPG is disappointing, I would have thought with the small ecoboost engine would do better than that. On my V6 manual JL Wrangler Unlimited, I do about 19 city, 24 highway and average around 21.

Idk if they are the same, but the Ecoboost cloth seats are amazing, I rode with my friend for 3 hours and they were great

Any transmission noise? There’s a TSB for Bronco 7-speeds under 22-2371. I doubt Ford found a new transmission manufacturer for 2023.

They aren’t starting production until about july as of last check. I have the same on order and there are about 3k ordered waiting to be built

I was trying to look at the shifter. There’s 6 gears plus reverse, plus one other position called C. I don’t understand.
