Yes,. very much so. Seeing Stalin so angry that the Chronoscepter gets destroyed and throws everything he has at the Allies. Then the mission itself where you have to worry about ground forces, apaches, and then cruisers all of which come for you very fast. Very harrowing mission!!!
You truly do make this final mission look really easy with how dominant you are at this game. I did grow up playing red alert but I never got through the entire campaign. I was much more accustomed to Starcraft when I got into that game later anyways. And I especially loved Warcraft 3. when it comes to the command and conquer games I actually prefer the ones that came out later that follow the standards that an RTS must follow like being able to attack move for example which finally command & conquer generals he can do and you can still do in command and conquer 3 and in my favorite of the command and conquer series that would be Red Alert 3.
Yeah, this game is certainly rough around the edges (considering the original release date) and can be frustrating to control. Personally if I remember right I liked C&C 3 the most out of the C&C series, followed by Tiberian Sun.

@rfvtgbzhn There are a handful of objectives that in the original stayed the same in the remaster and they were somewhat wrong, I remember that much. One Soviet mission, I cannot remember which, basically gives you the completely incorrect briefing and if you do what the briefing tells you, you fail.

Nadia saved You from being shooted, in the last minute. But its only my speculation.
The Soviet illegal terror weapons are the double gunned heavy and mammoth tanks, the yaks, the hinds, the MiGs, the badger bombers, the submarines, the iron curtain and the nukes.

Skill issue for sure. :D Nevertheless, if you capture the western ConYard you can build one or two cruisers and take out the eastern bases that way. Easy clean up after. Yeah it was pretty hard to figure out a strategy for this level, since the enemy navy is so annoying. And the start of the level is difficult to pull off. :)
Ending of this campaign always makes me smile... To finally learn you never fought for the pathetic Soviet Union, but the awesome, great and rightful Brotherhood of Nod.
Soviet victory is the prequel to C&C. Allied Victory leads to two possible prequels: 1, America helps fight in the last few months of the war leading to Red Alert 2. The other side of it, America stays out and the European/Asian countries create a Global Defencse Initiative to end the Soviet invasion that leads to the GDI of the future. < This is the one that we currently follow in Command and Conquer.
@@wallamazoo01 I've seen these two scenarios around, but what's stopping the tiberium asteroid from hitting earth in alternative 1? I guess the cop out there is that RA2 isn't set as far into the future as the GDI/NOD universe? :P
I've a question Stu, regarding that submarine block: 1)Does it still work on the latest patch? 2)How do you know the exact location to place that sub without the use of a Radar? Is there a way to consistently click on that spot in the dark? I'm sure the rest of the level (and the initial navy cleanup) shouldn't be too bad, but that crucial block I'd like to get down pat.
Should still work on current version. I use camera hotkeys when I need to click on a specific spot in a speedrun. But blocking transports is a risky strategy, for a normal playthrough it's probably easier to rush out some tesla coils!
@@StuGames i find tesla coils evaporate FAST on hard, it’s why i’d like to try your strat out than waste time defending my base. May I know what camera hotkey you used for this map? Or how you set it up? Thanks stu.

Yeah this mission was pretty difficult. Your biggest issue are the enemy shipyards and cruisers because they will decimate your army if you attack the base before destroying them, so I tried to find the quickest way to take them out with minimal losses. It also took a while to find the best way to deal with the enemy attacks, but it turned out that you can stop most of them with a single well-placed submarine.
