Since it is difficult the mission will take about 1-2 hours or if more it will add replayability elements. The player will be pushed to use all tactical aspects and strategies for this mission. _years later_ local dude does the mission in 30 seconds.
Haven't tried in remaster, but force-firing the V2 infront of the truck at the very beginning can kill the truck, maybe needs to have game on slow. Mission beat in 2 seconds.
I have seen this done by Bo-gaming in Il-2 Stalingrad. His plane was shot down over an enemy airfield, he forced landed and then burned a nearby Russian truck with a flare gun. So it's entirely realistic and fair :)
Lol that truck was Yakked. Used to hate this mission so much when I was younger. If that stupid Tan Base gets momentum it can make things very difficult if trying to do it conventionally; lol was also the first time I learned that the Soviet Mine Layer was no good for tanks since it's AP. Each time I played this mission I insisted on getting that stupid truck right from the start. Sometimes it was possible to catch it with tanks before the bugger crossed the first bridge (Though probably not on hard). Compared to normal sending small forces to deal with something on Hard is almost like a Suicide mission; can't believe how much one light tank can so badly wreck one of my heavy tanks.
Very cool! BTW did you have location hotkeyed from previous attempt or something? Looks like you instantly swap to the perfect position to make the plane attack.
I'm sure I once destroyed this truck with a tank or maybe it was a V2 within a few seconds and got mission accomplished. Is it possible? (Unless it was the Grenade glitch maybe)
@@licenzj8827 i also watched their contents. And didn't all speedrunners copy strats from multiple other speedrunners? if it's the fastest route, then why not use it? They just race for the one who can do it fastest.

Yeh, I remember this from "back in the day" as well. Mission took like 15 seconds.

Yep, camera hotkeys don't reset when replaying a mission in this game :)

this mission can only end so fast is because you know where that truck. Otherwise this mission will take long.
You can also scout it with the spy plane =)
For me it took more time to complete this mission.
that cutscene is a lie.
I mean almost all the cutscenes don't really reflect how the mission ends, but this takes the cake.
They should have done a separate cutscene where a YAK pilot takes out the truck :D

@@StuGames This "bug" is now fixed. You can't force attack fog area anymore. But you still can use paratroopers. Only takes 2 minutes longer.
