    Beautiful hen in your video...I’m jealous of her poult-rearing abilities! lol
    I rescued a wild turkey egg from a nest my neighbor accidentally destroyed when mowing his hay field. I finished incubating the egg & now have a 13-day old poult who thinks I’m “mom.” It’s an adorable poult, but kinda stupid. 😂 Been a real challenge getting it to eat/drink on its own. Apparently, starvation/dehydration is a common way to lose poults as they just don’t always eat/drink when raised by humans. Lots of syringe feeding, plus live crickets/mealworms have kept it alive & it’s finally drinking & eating some of the feed I provide, though not much of it. If only I could speak turkey...🤦🏻‍♀️...this would be a lot easier.
