I remember when it went over €5 and it seemed galling. Now you’re lucky in some places to see change of €10. The simple answer is just not to go anymore. They’ve pushed it way too far.
@@filipzugec8346 Guiness is about 6.5 euro on average in Dublin April 2024. In temple bar the tourist trap area of Dublin it is 10 in a couple of tourist rip off pubs. Outside Dublin it's cheaper. 5 possible
i remember back to 1976 in the uk it was about 30p a pint then the budget and the brewery put up so we had a double rise within days and that 30p went up to about 60p when both went on , what id do to go back to 1976
Stopped going pub when it became more expensive to buy a pint than a pack of 4. In 2007 a pint of Guinness was £2.75 in my local. 2015 it was £4.80, dread to think how much in 2024. 😔
Went to Dublin nearly 20 years ago and a pint of Guinness was around 4,2€ all across the city. Thats cheap compared to Swedish standards at that time. How much is a pint today?
Going for a pint these days feels like your buying shares in the pub

Truth
Thats what they want.

Great to see Rory back doing what he does making us piss ourselves laughing been a while since I pissed meself 👍
And we all just allow it.
I thought he was going to trip and drop the pint at the end .😊
Comedic genius 😂😆

At Least He's Still Got His UnderPants 😀
BUT Next Month the Price Goes UP 😲
I remember when an old Irish punt could get you 5 pints about 50+ years ago
Funnier still, In a few years time you won't even be able to buy a Guinness because alcohol and pork will be banned ? 🤔

Still around 4 in some Wetherspoons - I just get drunk from vodka before I go out and then order cheapest drink just to sit there.
@@danieIlondon Sounds like there's absolutely no point in going out then.

Usually like €7.50 to like €9.50
@@aspect831 €7.50 aint that bad compared to Sweden. Its not good, but not extreme. However €9.50 is very bad for a macro beer.
Unless it is special Guinness i pay £4.20 in the UK. Real Ales £2.70 to £3.50. Basically most of the UK and Ireland just rip you off.
I remember when a pint of Guinness cost me £2 in a pub.
I consider this nothing but an absolute tragedy for Irishmen of all denominations
You youngsters..I remember a pint of the black stuff going up to 50p in the UK ! 😅
Old as hell
I don't really drink but anything in a pint glass past €7 is pushing it honestly
Sad but true
£4.50 in 2014, Ireland was ballin back then
The price of a pint in 1976 was 38p (old money). Today that’s about 0.65 of a euro
my buddy says a pint use to be 50p back in the 70s
Welcome back
This is hilarious 😅
His right , get yourself a good looking woman and stay in with a bottle of red early to bed 😂
