Just ordered it last night. Can't wait to up my talking head interview game. Edit: I have the mixer now and it feels very premium. I mean solid. It is smaller than I expected but for my Sony 6300 it's perfect. I have not tried it extensively but I can tell you that the headphone jack is only going to work to monitor and not to listen to what you have recorded. You need an external monitor to be able to not just monitor but also listen. I wish it had an internal battery and could be charged up but I guess once those go bad then you're in trouble. How it work with only two AAA batteries is beyond me. I would suggest rechargeable batteries for this guy. Overall its a solid products. You could literally podcast with it.
Do you always capture your audio on your camera? I’ve noticed that using this while trying to capture audio on an iPad or phone, it considerably dampens the sound.
Would you recommend using this with a DVC that has a mic jack but no mic volume adjustment? I dont use a DSLR to do my shoots. I use 4k DVCs. I use more than 10 cameras to shoot paranormal inbestigations (this is where you laugh at me) but i use one higher end 4k camcorder to shoot production style video. Similar to ghost huntimg shows. I have a camera man and i have a audio visual tech and im trying to make their lives a bit easier and im trying to male my videos more professional. Im still new to this so terminology may evade me so please dont make fun of me if i seem inept. Thank you. Im trying to make interviews and on camera speaking sound as professional as possible all the while trying to stay within a budget. Right now i have a Movo MX400 mic and i just got a Boya WM4 single mic system that i want to run simultaneously. My thinking is that i can run my Movo in the stereo port and i can run my Boya in the left port because im planning on getting a secondary Boya WM4 so my co-investigator has a mic in also. I want to run both boyas thru this comica unit as well as the Movo. Too much to run thru it? And just out of curiosity, would running two boya receivers simultaneously suspended on the shoes of the comica unit cause interference? The two transmitters should operate on independent frequencies right? Im hoping the close proximity of the recievers wont interfere with each other.

I couldn’t figure out what the “line” setting was for…thanks!
Wow, it has a lot of awesome features that saramonic doesn't for the same price
Dude can you mix stereo and mono channels into one?
Im planning to use one of these as a monitor since i cant monitor at all with my Canon DSLR
Thx for the review. Question, are the knobs smooth when turning or stepped?
