      It's the same with stills photography, people get obsessed with full frame cameras and $1000+ lenses when really an off camera flash would improve their photos so much for a much smaller outlay.

    It's completely mind-blowing to think that you can achieve this grade of sharpness and good quality in 1080p. Markus, you are an inspiration. I will try to achieve at least half of this quality on my own business videos! Thanks for the inspiration!

    I love the silly videos. Your honesty is perfectly refreshing, and ignoring convention has been my habit since I was a kid, a lesson learned from my dear departed Dad. We were poor, and so we resorted to being creative and resourceful, which I have continued to employ my whole life. I'll be 70 soon. So whether it's making a film, recording music or voiceovers, or photography, learn how to use the tools you have as well as you can and don't let your creativity be stopped.

    Many of my videos are 2-3 hours long but they're meant for specific audiences. I remember when guys had that Sony in the field always waiting for them to cool down and missing great activity. One of my favorite cameras ever is the Nikon D70. It doesn't even shoot video.

      it's inflated in the us, selling used at $300 with the kit lens, while you get nex-5's for 100 which is only a generation back. i found a beat up 5100 for under 100 in europe, the market was oversaturated by cheap starter cameras here. 💸

      prices are up for years as it was praised as a good streaming cam by lots of youtubers, it doesn't overheat if you just send the signal to hdmi.

    I have a Sony A6000 I purchased last year for work and it's my first mirrorless camera. I did the firmware hack to make it record over 30 minutes and about a month ago I recorded 2 bands live shows back to back, 30 minute sets and had no issues with overheating, the one issue I had is that my battery died on the 2nd bands last song. The footage looks great for the lighting not being the best and honestly I love my camera. I don't ever think about upgrading. I was also using the stock 16mm lens. I do say I would like a sigma 16mm 1.4 for lower light shoots.

    I own 2 a5100s. They are awesome! There are 4 buttons that can be assigned and the zoom button gives those sharp primes some clear image zoom. They have the same sensor and focus as the a6000 and actually came out a few months after the a6000 in 2014. I teach for a 5100 much more than my 6400 just due to the small and simple factor.

    It's similar to the A5300, also one of Sony's first APS-C mirrorless cameras. Has a similar feature set except you don't get the fully flip-up screen, just a tilt screen, and thanks to the E-mount you can stick comically large lenses to it.

    The characters running around in the credits remind me of Blake Edwards and, the Pink Panther series. Love, love, love it! TH-cam forces the issue on the longer content because a video has to be at least 8 minutes long for another comercial to run. They also forced their agenda on making shorts which I think ruined a bunch of long-form channels.The biggest thing that I take away from watching you is that authenticity (and, talent) will find a way. I'd watch y'all for longer though. I hope radio-voice leads you down the path of making short movies for this channel. I'd love to see them and, I'd love to see how you direct them. Thanks!

    Markus, you are right as usual… but while image quality has reached a point of sufficiency it’s the camera ergonomics that’s now key… how can you efficiently do the job. You shoot your footage under controlled environments with excellent studio lighting … so you are showing the camera performance under ideal conditions. Main differentiation point nowadays is how can these cameras perform under non-ideal circumstances under run and gun speed prioritizing quality with efficiency. Love your content! Cheers!

    • @Garbid
      @Garbid ปีที่แล้ว

      One way as I know is to use ad200 with bulb head. Attach Godox AD-S17 (with removed white plastic diffuser as it has silver metallic base) and set in s bracket with one big reflector for bowens mount. But is there a way to attach magnum click to get true 400 wats from ad200 without that bulky way? And is there a way to check if ad-s17 with reflector will give double output with ad200?)

    • @Garbid
      @Garbid ปีที่แล้ว

      We can just clue some magnets behind the plate of ads17 to attach magnum click. Also there is a godox adapter for normal speedlight to use round head accessory for v1. It's already have magnets. So if it fits ad200 pro fresnel head then we can attach without any problems profoto reflector. But main interest is will ads17 base plate with s bracket and most powerful reflector for big lights give big output?)

    I LOVE when Markus does this type of video. All of the hype that goes into the 'NEWEST,' 'LATEST,' 'GREATEST,' product reviews, is such a joke, and most "influencers" that peddle the newest crap don't even use it, they only do a video for the paycheck. Further, I laugh every time I see the word 'cinematic' in the title of a video. No matter what, it's a YT VIDEO, NOT a cinema release. Most YT videos are watched on 6" screen, not a cinema screen. Very few YT'ers have no idea what it takes to make a true cinematic production. 24 fps and bokeh ain't all there is to it!

    I have a couple of NEX cameras and lens as well as a million adaptors for old lens but these cameras always seem to have some dead pixels.

    I love using my old G-7 LUMIX. I do admit its not a video camera per say like some others I purchased for that purpose .I bought this to make files out of my art work. the g7 is more of a challenge but when i can get a good shot the footage looks great. I use my old canon power shot ELPH 190 with a Cardalini clamp on the handle bars of my e bike. Thats were i get my wild life video out on the trail.

      The G7 is a great video camera, here's one I made with it using just a 12-32 kit lens! th-cam.com/video/r90HtzqZhn8/w-d-xo.html
