Additionally, check the gene pool... a son of Tapit. His BC rival a son of Into Mischief. Both of them trace back to Secretariat. Talking about Secretariat Like cannot be denied 😊😊❤❤

The Breeders Cup Classic did it for Me. Even though Life Is Good was never himself since Dubai.... when he took off that day and carved out those fractions.... Flightline ran past him as if he was standing 😢. That broke my heart and I had to admit.... Flightline was indeed Secretariat Like. What a Horse!!!

There's still more races that he could have won, as good as he was, there's still a sense that he was under raced.

@@nightowl7459 I am of that view too... but remember he probably lost his best chance whe he was injured in the barn accident as a 3yr old. Maybe if he'd run that season and this one we would've seen more of him but the Breeders shed is big business so his connections thought that was best 😏

@@waydenj I'm sure it was about business, but they could have let him run in the Pegasus, Saudi Cup and the World Cup, he most probably would have won them easily a enhance his reputation even further, but they decided to cut and run.

@@nightowl7459 They probably didn't want you take any chances and risk any injuries. I can't hold that against them.🙂

@@waydenj That could well be true? But that's part of owning a horse, if they all thought that way, maybe they would all retire them after a few big wins.

A lot of people are focusing on what he could have been, which is crazy talk about a horse that is in the discussion as the greatest ever. To have him continue on the track to keep winning by 10, 15, 20 lengths? What would that have accomplished? His owners had already shown an incredible amount of patience and care waiting for him to be ready. They made a huge investment in a very risky business. Greed? How many promising yearlings never even run? Secretariat ran in the early 1970’s that’s how rare it is. Remember Barbaro? Heartbreaking. I’m happy with getting to see him run The BC Classic.

I'm SO DISAPPOINTED that greedy humans retired such a Magnificant horse before his time 😢

Who else was there to beat? Not 1 horse that he beat came back to run against him again. No need to keep running him.

Yeah. Greedy humans. I was offered shares in this horse as a yearling. You also could have invested in him. These people offer all their yearlings up for a 5 to much higher percentage shares. Problem is you never know which will be great and which won't. The man hugging the woman at the end of the Breeders Cup is the Finleys. The woman with the neck brace is Debbie Finley. Did you notice all those folks celebrating. Yeah. Investors. It's called West Point Thoroughbreds. They would be happy to send you a list of the horses and their breeding, trainer, and what the price is, and how many percentage remains. They also have fillies. Yeah. Greedy people. P.S. Flightline sold at auction for 1 million. So his shares, by the time he ran, would not be cheap. You are responsible for upkeep depending on your number of shares. However, now he is the highest stud fee. Not a bad investment now. Hindsight is always 20/20.
