This is how I mix all my mica too… I think it reduces your chances of bubbles, as well as stopping powder spots in your poured pieces. Thank you for sharing your methods with us.
I see some artists are now turning their micas into pastes by mixing them with either part A, or part B of leftover resin… I haven’t done any myself yet, but I’m going to give it a try and see how it comes out?
Your ‘thinker’ statues are gorgeous… I love that brown sugar pigment!! They look very elegant! I also noticed your hands… is that eczema? My apologies if you think I’m being mosey… I only ask, as I suffer from eczema on my hands, and it makes wearing gloves very hard and painful… I put cotton gloves on underneath sometimes but find that is so bulky!?!
Ps… I hope you show us when you do the blue and silver thinkers?!? 😁
Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) ♥️♥️🇦🇺

Hello thank you for your message yes it’s eczema I have had it since birth, I also wear cotton gloves underneath my normal ones to start it feels a bit weird but you soon get use to it 😀❤️🐉

When you say add the mica to a small amount of resin, do you mean resin and hardener? Or just resin? X

They’re beautiful! I planned on getting these molds. I already have a lot of molds! So, I’ve been limiting myself😆 But, quite like these and I was going to go with a brown and white. Now I know they’re really nice in those colors. The way you premix your mica is great tip, I’ll definitely be doing that. Thanks for all that info!

Hi Sue - loved following your videos but haven’t seen any for a while. Are you still resining?
