Being raised by Snail’s House is something only some can experience, usually by happenstance. I’m glad I’m one of those people who found this great music.
I can assure you, being raised by gods of music and content (Ujico* and CoryxKenshin for example xP) gives you no excuse for slacking off in life. I can count on these kinds of people to inspire me and keep me endlessly motivated.

I have never been so impressed by a music video. The visual style is adorable and complex. It makes my eyes feel like they are eating that candy! It's utterly beautiful, the art is not skipped on for a frame. Snail is just adorable, and the town is so lively. The pencil-y, cloudy, smudgy art style crafts it all into a dreamlike aesthetic to not be ignored. The detail is never spared once. AND THE MUSIC IS GREAT TOO! Great work from everyone.
I'm a bit late, but at the end the little ghost travels through the portal and get back home. But we can see that the background is Starry Night by Van Gogh and from what I know, for him, the night sky was a map and the death was the bus/spaceship to travel across it (the painting has strong connection with death). The music mix Halloween and Christmas. Halloween is a the day of death or at the origin, the feast of Saiman, the God of Death, where dead can walk for a brief moment among the alive (correct me if i'm wrong). And Christmas is a day where you are with your family, it's a reunion with the one you love and it's a moment of joy. So, I think we can interpret that way : The ghost walking to the alives want to return to home to be with it's family and the girl want to bring joy with her power to everyone but can't do it. So the ghost helps her and through the night sky, she brings joy to everyone and help the ghost to come back to it's home where it can reunite with it's family. I'm maybe going to far, but the wand is a moon, a crescent moon to be exact, like in the painting, so that may be why she have a link between the two worlds.
So cute! I like the tone set by the main characters feeling like outsiders, set by how they aren't celebrating the same holiday as the people in the town.

I love the littlw universe built around snail-chan. I can totally see these music videos as being animated versions of a kids book with the same vibe as the Moomins series. Cutse art, fun problems to solve and a laid back world full of happiness.
