Just wanted to clarify on the whole situation of does this paddle actually have titanium since a lot of people have been asking. The short answer is it is a titanium coated polyester to make it look as metallic as titanium. Which I should've clarified more in my review. Titanium is essentially being used as a shorter more digestible term, but the real accurate and technical description would be Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer with Titanium Coated Fibers. If you want to hear more about this topic it was discussed in a recent pickleball pursuit podcast as well. Feel free to check it out th-cam.com/video/vR49yHQSLDs/w-d-xo.html Sorry for the confusion, I shouldn't have said "titanium surface" (that was more of a typo honestly as I mixed my wording), in the future I will do better to be more specific on these sorts of areas.
Nice review! I have an early release Flare Ti that I've been playing with for about a week. Your review nicely sums up my feelings about it as well. I really enjoy playing with it. It's now my main.
Good question, I'm posting a review on it tomorrow actually. Really just comes down to your playstyle I think. The flare prime is a bit more whippy, harder hitting, a lot less forgiving though. The Titanium is the opposite, more forgiving, a lot more give, effortless resets. If you're a more control, defensive oriented player go for the titanium, if you like to be more aggressive with your shots the flare!

Cannot wait to get mine next week.
Which one would you recommend between the Neonic Flare Titanium vs. Neonic Flare Prime X?

Is there any real titanium in the paddle? Or is it polyester color fiber weave?
I should've been more specific! It's titanium coated polyester fibers
Maybe good to add a note that it's not actually a titanium weave, but rather a polyester weave that's uses a "titan red" colour!
