- The lastest update for Icarus adds a new hardcore area with all new missions to the Prometheus map in New Frontier! It's been ages since I played, but I'm headed back to the terraformed moon to see what Null Sector has to offer.
ICARUS is a PvE survival game for up to eight players. Explore a savage wilderness in the aftermath of terraforming gone wrong. Survive the Open World, complete timed Missions or build your Outpost. Explore, build, craft and hunt while seeking your fortune and prospecting for exotic matter.

the glowing red thing you saw in the dark (ever heard of lights or torches) was a red exotic tree you can harvest with the right tool.
"Does he climb?" will go down in the annals of entertainment history next to phrases like "I've got a bad feeling about this" (-Han Solo).

Probably been mentioned, but the Machining bench can now do everything the Crafting bench can do, and the Fab bench can do everything the Crafting and Machining benches can do. It saves a lot of space, but it does clutter the menu in the bench. When first patched, some items were not carrying over, though that seems to fixed now.

I notice you took the longest way to the volcanic biom, there is a faster and closer way through a cave up on the ridge at I 2 or J2 but I see you have not opened up that area yet so you should go and look for it, the cave takes you straight through to the volcanic biom
You do know that you can take 1 shovel and 20 dirt in your inventry and just make all your bridges and ramps from that in the volcanic and null sectors and they will not take any damage, you can also just lay one dirt foundation down and dig the rest of your needs from that one foundation piece or any others you use along the way. Having had a btch of a fight with the spider boss when we did the null sector I advise you to stear well clear of him. wait for your chance , grab your stuff and run like fk, you could use your mount to help with the long travel to the place you died.
