I'm keen to upgrade too from 2024. The new features are exciting and I can't wait to make good use of them. Thanks for watching and commenting on several videos. I really appreciate your engagement with the channel..
@ Sorry yo bug you again, but do you use the regular or audiophile version of BIAB? Your songs sound really clear and I wondered if you were getting that result with the regular version of the program. All the best!
@@randypulley8783 You are not bugging me, I'm always happy to answer any questions. I have the less expensive Ultra pack 2024. I think the secret is to build your whole arrangement in the biab interface and using a DAW as little as possible during the arrangement/building phase of your song. That is just my opinion and there are folks who disagree strongly with my approach. I have been ridiculed by some For exporting my biab mix as a stereo wave to my R8 recorder where I add my vocals. I avoid using DAWs where ever possible as I don't enjoy the process of recording that way. Ultimately my finished song ends up in a DAW just to clean up the beginning and end of my songs and to export them as waves ready for mastering. I hope that helps.
@ That really helps a lot. If you are getting that kind of sound out of the “regular” version, then I don’t think the audiophile version is necessary to make good sounding music. You just have to do your work upfront. Your process works. I’ve been checking out more of the songs you have posted and you’re getting really good sounding results. Thanks so much for the help and your quick response.
Thanks for the info Brian. Always appreciated!!!! This will be a definite purchase for me. I'll be switching over from Mac to Windows first. Always been a Mac user - but things are becoming too expensive in Mac land. I'm against these lyric generators doing a complete set of song lyrics. I think at best it might give you some inspiration to write your own lyrics if stuck for ideas. Thanks again, Cheers Grantly.
Hi Grantly. I'm excited about the new features too. I'll be investing as soon as I am able. Btw, I listened to your songs on my drive to Sydney and back last week and thoroughly enjoyed each song. Well composed and performed. You have a great vocal range and a really good ear for your BIAB arrangements. Best wishes B
@@BandInABoxRevealed-ke5tp Thanks for listening to the songs Brian!! I'm no expert when it comes to judging original songs. Good to get some feedback from someone much more experienced !! GR.
For sure, Im going to get my head into Reaper in 2025 and make use of the new plugin. I'm sure to make some video content of my learning curve. Thanks for watching.
I am very interested in the stem splitter. I have so many old 4 track tapes of my late dad who would record with vocals and guitar on the same track. This will allow me to split those tracks and arrange them with my instruments in BIAB. Very cool! Can’t wait to use this feature, along with the VST3 plugins.
@@TomMarvanYes. I watched it just minutes after it was released. It is very detailed and also shows how to utilize the Audio Chord Wizard tool along with the new Stem Splitter feature. This is really powerful. 👍
@ It’s amazing - almost a little intimidating, but probably because I mainly use Band in a Box for songwriting and production, so I largely do yearly upgrades to take advantage of the new features that help me there and/or the new tracks and styles.
Billy, Your comment has inspired me for my next video. I'm calling it the Lazarus project and it will be about reviving songs from loved ones passed using biab. Thank you for the inspiration.
@@BandInABoxRevealed-ke5tp No probs. Really enjoy your videos. I only just got BIAB2024 about a week ago and so I'm just starting out, but enjoying it so far. BTW, you sound like an Aussie (like me. Victoria).
Thanks for your comments. I’ve been using 2020 version of BIAB up till now. Sounds like a great time to upgrade. Their updated DAW looks fantastic.

The DAW plugin looks much improved over the previous versions. I have always found this useful but now it looks to be even more so.

Hi Billy, What a fabulous way to use the new stem feature! I hope you get great results. I'm keen to hear how it turns out. Best wishes.
PG Music just posted a boot camp video on the new stem splitter feature.

Just chatted with BIAB and BIAB2025 for Mac not likely before second half 2025. 😶
My bad, I misread the PG Music Page.

Not available for Mac as far as I can see.
My BIAB 2024 reports that it's up to date?
Thanks for correcting me. My apologies.
